Sami, You write so beautifully, I am glad to hear that you are being "forced" to put some things down in an organized fashion! Gemstar, As ususal you get to the heart of what is 'floating around" out there and express it concretely and poetically at the same time. I took a look at where this opposition is taking place in the composite with my husband. At the risk of making everyone blush, I think sex is the best for both of us that it has been in almost 20 years. This is a miracle, because his prostate surgery was only two and a half months ago. )He's young--just turned 50 and is in otherwise great physical shape.) And this opposition squares our composite Moon in Taurus. But I just found out yesterday what my February Chiron return looks like, (I turned 50 in June) and the opposition also sqaures my Chiron return ASC/DEC, with natal 8th house given first house importance. Lots of erotic fantasy becoming a reality? ? Amoroso

On the downside of this transit, but a reality that needs to be recognized: the pair is close to my asc/desc of 17*. On the 3rd with 16Scorpio rising I received a money order in the mail for just under $1000 with a letter from ATI Manangement Inc. stating I had won a sweepstakes for $100,000. Sun is almost conjunct my Asc and Leo rules winnings like sweepstakes.
Now my eye for detail caught the misspelling immediately, sending up a red flag. An extra n in manage? That's Scorpio's number where Jupiter is. 2 Ns...2 deaths. If anyone receives the mark of the beast he'll suffer the 2nd death. Well, the money order has a water mark. It is an official document, no doubt about it. And I had bought a graphics card at a local Circuit City last winter made by ATI Technologies and registered it online so I had to look further to see if this could be legit. Chase Manhattan Bank printed on the bottom of the MO was familiar but not the Citizens Bank. I stopped by the local Police station and the officer on duty inspected the letter and MO, telling me to go ahead and cash it.
I was instructed to call a Canadian number before cashing to receive instructions on how to pay the taxes and processing fee out of this MO. So I called the number, the first time the call couldn't be connected even though it was business hours there, another red flag. The next day I got through to someone with such poor English I couldn't understand her. I did hear her say she didn't know what sweepstakes. I called the bank number and left a voice mail which hasn't been returned. I contacted the graphics card maker to see if it is their sweepstakes but haven't gotten a call back yet. It still didn't feel right and in googling, my husband found scams, originating in Canada and traced to Nigeria with different names and amounts but the North American Prize pool mentioned in the 1st line was repeated in many frauds. So I took it to the fraud department at my bank today. Then have many of them but this is the 1st one she's seen for so small an amount. What they do is tell you to send them a check out of this initial installment for the amount of taxes and processing fee owed. It takes the banks up to 60 days sometimes to trace the routing number and discover it isn't a real bank so there is time for this to all take place. The banks take the biggest loss.
If I had cashed the check but not sent them anything back I would have been $1000 richer and the bank $1000 poorer. So to say thank you she gave me a water bottle. Gee, couldn't it have at least been glass or stainless? Anyway, wanted to give the heads up.

Hey Aqua.... Well...a water bottle out of the deal....is OK. It IS something for nothing!! Imagine the hassle if it went further....ugh. Chances are good that the bank would have come looking for the cash if you had cashed it. Smelled fishy from the get-go! You KNOW better...besides...these scam companies have been doing these antics for years......watermarks and the whole sha-bang. You were cautious and that is what matters! The $1000 would most likely not have ever materialized.....as in, the bank would've gone to collect, found out it was a scheme and would then look to find you and request the money be returned to them. So....better that you followed your instincts and found out the truth behind the illusion!! (Saturn opposed Neptune in action!!) Great example....thanks for sharing! Those money scams...I tell you......bad news. Hugs- GemStar

Looks lilke I've been caught napping again ... just noticed the DEGREE of this event -- 18 Aquarius/Leo -- and thought to myself, "gee, this seems awfully familiar ..." Then the coin dropped and I realized Neptune at 18 Aquarius will light up (or fuzzily illuminate? -- hard to be sure what Neptune's presence will do) my "asterellium" of meaningful (to me) asteroids in House 2: Pallas 17 Aqu 59 Ubasti (Bast) 18 Aqu 2 Hilaritas 18 Aqu 26 Jung 18 Aqu 47 Tara (female tantric deity known as "mother of liberation") 18 Aqu 55 Led by the warrior Pallas, this powerful line-up in concert with Neptune might be a tricky opponent for Saturn (keep picturing kids faced off on the playground) ... Will Neptune & Company fight? Suddenly vaporize just as Saturn is about to chasten them with his stony gaze? Or, with Hilaritas at the midpoint, just thumb their noses and give Saturn the old Bronx cheer? Saturn will be teamed with Klio, goddess of history, so maybe all he wants is for his tale to be told ... But in the 8th, will it let all the skeletons out of the closet? ... Pondering, J

I'm not positive what they wanted me to do, Jade, since I couldn't understand her English. I think I may still receive a call from them. The scam is usually that I'd have to send part of the money back to them for taxes or fees. If I had only cashed it and not sent them anything only the bank would have been out, from what the lady in the Fraud department said. But my conscience is clear. Following this in certified letter yesterday was notice that I am fired as of July 10. Once again Medusa is showing up. I'll probably end up in a law suit. The used the family medical leave 12 week thing as excuse to fire me.

OFF-TOPIC: Jade-What an experience! First, allow me to provide the correct CPR facts. IF you administer CPR, the victim's ribs MAY crack....however, breaking the victim's rib is not the goal or a prerequisite for giving someone the life-saving act of CPR. Cracked ribs can happen but usually not on purpose. Chest compressions DO need to be strong and frequent enough for the heart to pump. Frequently ribs are broken with the pressure CPR places on the sternum. Some studies quote up to 30% of cardiac arrest victims have broken ribs as a result of CPR. This happens more frequently with the older the victim since the cartilage is less compliant and the bones more easily crackable. But remember, it's better to have a cracked rib than be dead.Mostly, I, as a former certified ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Instructor, would watch people administer CPR incorrectly....pumping at an 'angle' to the heart instead of 'over' the heart. This would cause cracked ribs easily. The main thing is to DO Something....as opposed to doing Nothing. So please, everyone take a quick peek at the link below and refresh your memory on CPR. You never know when you will be in a position to save someone's life! depts.washington.edu/learncpr/quickcpr.htmldepts.washington.edu/learncpr/facts.htmlHugs- GemStar

Jade...then your instincts were on target...
Most people do not compress strong enough on the chest to provide the necessary pressure to make the heart pump. If the ribs are broken, it IS easier to compress the heart, yet, it is not required. The CPR literature and my instructors manual do not have this requirement written. I believe your initial reaction/instinct is right on. Glad the paramedics arrived in time for the guy....wow.

Yes, Jade, yesterday. They said it was effective July 10. I don't think its legal, but the powers that be brake the law daily. The day before I was told by the work comp insuranc company to appear for an indepentant exam with another new doctor an hour away. She said I could have my doctor present but at my own expence. Yeah, right! Like any doctor would drive an hour out of town. They didn't like that their other doctor put me on another 6 month restriction. When I asked her don't you trust your own doctor she said her goal is to ask this doctor if he will remove the restriction or do I have to have surgery to accomplish that. Now I know that as long as I'm not doing extrememly hard physical work with my hands the symptoms are minimal and I don't believe in extreme actions when a change in lifestyle is what is necessary. I don't know anyone who has had that surgery, continued the same job and didn't have recurring problems. I won't do it. And they shouldn't be able to make me. I have a feeling they've promised this doctor more work if he'll cooperate with them.
Shouldn't an event chart be radical also? Neither this phone call or the doctor appointment is radical. In fact the ascendant at the appointment is my Sun degree which is peregrine and it is a Sun hour. I don't think that makes it radical. Sun doesn't rule the problem either but maybe since it rules the 12th. Jupiter ruled the phone call hour and Libra was rising. I think that orgasm asteroid is the antiscion to this ascendant though. What's with that? Perhaps my case will reach the pinacle with this appointment? It's really scary because I was already blacklisted from the loss of my other machinist job, now no one will want to look at me. Yes, Medusa has showed up each time. Problem is, if they would be ethical and fair, I would never hurt them and they can't find a better employee than me. I just don't fit in the work world. I guess some heads have rolled since they put me out. Both the bosses have been replaced, but they didn't fire them, they moved them. Somebody named Tutt signed my separation letter. Guess I'll check where King Tut is.

Okay, I definitely have something brewing in my life that I would attribute in part to the ramping up Saturn-Neptune energies (11th-5th houses for me). During this time, Mars in Virgo is also conjunct my natal Uranus/Pluto conjunction in the 11th/12th, and opposing my 5th/6th-house Saturn, triggering what I've always called the "engine" of my chart. While I've been going through a major shift in my professional life -- i.e., being unemployed and endeavoring to permanently leave the corporate life for a new lifestyle -- I returned to working as a waiter ("captain") at a 4-star French restaurant I worked at 11-12 years ago. It's considered the best restaurant in the state, and very self-important, but lacks a certain culture of professionalism that I was accustomed to when I worked in similiar-caliber NYC restaurants. Years ago I tried to shift the culture of the place toward what it could be, without any success, and upon returning I found the same issues deeply ingrained in the place. These issues create a lot of unpleasantness for me when I am working there, and they came to head last night when something happened & the management team seemed unable to see how they were supporting an unprofessional, even destructive, working environment. It reached such a point that I am ready to give a one-month notice to them, out of respect for the fact that they are extremely short-staffed, and as a way to announce to myself and to the universe that I am absolutely ready to pull together & implement the professional plans I've been developing the past few months, just without any output. The Virgo/Mars/Uranus/Pluto/Saturn influence here seems obvious to me as an activating "sheisse or get off the pot" force , but I can realy see the Saturn/Neptune significance of this: Saturn transiting my 11th of collaboration & group activities (very much the realm of restaurant work) opposing Neptune in my 5th, which has been funneling so much creative inspiration all year, for which I need a number of different fulfilling channels. The group culture of the restaurant impedes the flow of my creative contribution to the place, and so I definitely cannot stay. At the same time, I can feel energies quickening, like they do shortly before a woman gives birth, if any of you can relate to that. It is an absolutely deliciously scary feeling, a combination of both relief & anticipation rolled into one. The universe has kindly surrounded me with people who want the information (the book) that I've been procrastinating from finishing, and in particular one co-worker last night who said he wanted it very much and was going to bug me every day until I produced it! So, I'm considering giving my notice this week and setting everything in motion so that I have a strict deadline and motivator to not only finish the book, but also begin to fill my schedule with classes for me to introduce the information. I've had this feeling that the minute I have the book completed and printed off at the local print shop (my starting point so as not to waste any time), there are so many places for me to go and share this health info, that there are so many people that want it. I just know it, feel it in my bones. All year, people have been asking for it. So I have this very personal purpose, this act of personal creativity & inspiration (Neptune in 5th) being challenged by my 11th-house Saturn to give form to it and take it out to a very large audience. I'm so ready for this. How are you other Libra-rising posters experiencing this 5th-11th polarity? I know there are quite a bunch of you here. A very energized and freshly empowered Samina... lol (An interesting astrological caveat: the full moon in Aquarius on Wednesday occurs in the 5th, not only conjunct Neptune, but also Ceres and the POF, which will all be on my natal Pholus-conjunct-personal name asteroid (Angel). It looks and feels to me like a doorway opening to all the creative energies I'm willing to pour through it, with a subsequent rapid shift occuring. That's what I'm feeling... let's see how it actually turns out!)

Hey Everyone... OK...I realize this is the Saturn-Neptune thread.....however, with the Full Moon today, it seems to be stirring more and more things up for people. Boy....more folks were DRAGGING around today! I myself felt lethargic... Oddly, the cycling class I attend on Wednesday nights was barely full. It is the most packed class of the week!! Maybe about 50% showed up! Even the energy was heavy and sluggish! Weird for a high-energy type of class!! The instructor was going nuts trying to get people motivated! Ran into a Pisces friend who asked me what was going on?! She is a teacher and though school just started yesterday, she said she has had it with that job. She was at this point last year and she really desires to make a change. Her natal Node at 11 PIS will certainly experience this as tr Uranus makes it's second pass.....she is sensitive to the vibes around for sure! Another high energy person who was dragging today!! A Libra Sun/Pis Moon friend called to let me know she was headed to bed EARLY this evening....totally wiped out and lacking motivation for much of anything!! Change seems to be a huge marker here for many people. My love is going through some necessary change and is keeping more to himself these days. Odd...a tad upsetting for me but a good lesson in letting people work on their issues as they need to....without me holding their hand all the time. Like a roller-coaster ride....and I am on the ground watching my loved one face his fears....like it or not. At least that is my feeling. He is facing REALITY vs the Piscean Mooner/ASC DREAM he tries to escape into at times. Throw in a good measure of transiting Saturn square natal Saturn at 16 Scorp....now that stinks on top of stink for him!! Because I am so deeply connected to him, I can sense the vibes without seeing him. If I am not careful, I entangle in his energies and when it is a cycle like he is experiencing now...OOoohh, I need to lay low. That is the downside of a natal Neptune conjunct ASC (Scorpio) for me. My intuitive antennae which is connected trine to Moon and Mercury is quivering with the energies around me.....ugh. The tension feels thicker and murkier at the same time. Anyway.....this Full Moon is illuminating Neptune in Aqua.....while the illumination of Sun has been lighting up Saturn on the other end of this opposition....did you FEEL IT?? Hugs- GemStar

Wow....So....could we say that if you have a Saturn opposition Neptune in a chart, does this mean you are able to sense reality despite a possible illusion/dreaminess? Maybe the current Saturn-Neptune opposition will strengthen you in certain ways-- since this is part of the JOY in your 9th Harmonic chart! You lost me on the Deneb fixed star.....what does that represent again?? Either way, I get the sense that this is a strengthening time for you Jade! For those of us who need to see more clear during times of chaos, perhaps clarity finds you sooner than most!! Do you ever feel like this is true for you? Hugs- GemStar

Gem, this week at my two early-morning "bootcamp" fitness sessions I was amazingly winded, especially this morning, and I kept saying "Why am I so winded???" I mean, I just had to stop again & again to catch my breath. I realized this morning that the whole Saturn/Neptune opp is squaring my natal Jupiter/Neptune opp -- where was my head that I missed that? Crikey. I really get how much energy strain this transit is putting on people. I think you're right -- we're going to see a lot of change & shifts made by this transit, especially when we look back six months from now. I've been making all sorts of 9th harmonic associations, too, Jade. 9H on the brain. Chiron is very activated for you right now, ay? Interesting link between the Sat/Nep transit, your 9H Sat/Nep, and Chiron. Does it seem like it points to energy available to you to pull out & use right now? sami

Hey Samina...I have done one of those Boot-Camp sessions...did they give you a Boot-Camp nick-name? My name was "Goldi-locks"....named for my bouncy blonde curly pony tail!! They would also call me 'Goldie' for short....those are fun classes!! However, I am feeling you with the 'winded' thing. The energies of that Full Moon are still llingering.....for some reason my shoulders and upper body is in pain today....and Yoga was pretty much normal on Tuesday night.....You will feel stronger in a few days if not sooner!
So yes....'energy strain' is a great description! People seem to be a bit more edgy while at the same time....less 'peppy'. Add into it all, the thwarted airplane terrorist attempt from Britain to the US of late....we have also had the release of another 9/11 film here in the US. Still lots of emotion and feelings of vulnerability come to the forefront when we are reminded of these things. Americans usually choose to live in a bubble of sorts. It is very Neptunian and we tend to freak out when Saturn comes along to disturb our illusions of government or other unsettling issues.
The sense of TRUTH vs ILLUSION is very strongly felt by me....and all around. For me personally, it is a bit too difficult to trust in my own thoughts as my current Nep-sq-Nep transit is still close to squaring my ASC as well....foggy at best, yet I am trusting in the Universe. I am a pretty straight-shooter when it comes to reality so I do not expect much trouble in my corner through all this-hopefully I am right about that!
I prefer to believe that if a person is realistic and does the hard work along the way (meaning-not shoving issues under the rug but facing things head-on), Saturn comes along to strengthen the fort. I will have tr Pluto squaring Saturn soon....hmmm....Hopefully a nice drive-by as tr Pluto has been squaring my n Chiron and it has been somewhat easy to deal with after 2 passes.
Ok...off on other tangents....sorry folks!
So.....anyone else out there feeling pressure mounting around you or within your world?
Hugs- GemStar

Nah, no nicknames, Goldie. Too early in the mornin, I suppose -- up at 4:30 to make the 5am class. Yes, I heard about the "terrorist attempt" and the US red alert status. Hope a lot more people begin penetrating through the smoke & mirrors set up by our global authority figures; can't think of a better outcome for a Sat/Nep opposition! Bush going on vacay is always such a handy clue that something of some kind is about to come down... I am a pretty straight-shooter when it comes to reality so I do not expect much trouble in my corner through all this-hopefully I am right about that! We're all going to gain insight into our little blind spots, I suppose. I'm endeavoring to face things square as well, Gem! The boards are quiet... Sat/Nep keeping everyone huffing & puffing in some way? samina

Well, I've had an interesting Saturn opp Neptune experience. I had my new guy visiting me for a few days and I was back and forth emotionally with it - very much the real vs. the ideal playing out. Saturn was transiting my Uranus at 14 Leo, heading for my Asc at 17 Leo and Moon at 18 Leo. Neptune is of course sitting across on my Dsc (and Chiron at 18 Aqu). And yesterday's full moon was also exactly straddling my Asc/Dsc.
I think the Saturn on my Uranus was mostly irritating, and that lessened by yesterday when the transiting Sun hit my Asc and I felt stronger in myself. Tue was his bday, 15 Leo, and Saturn has him very focused on work (and not so much on me, not happy-making to my Leo Asc/Moon that wants attention!). But realizing he has this Sat transit going on did help me cut him some slack - his solar year is likely to be very work-focused.
Anyway, I'm still not sure what it means - I guess it will continue to play out. I brought him to the airport this morning and he doesn't return to my area for good until mid-Sept (he's temporarily doing a project on the west coast).
I'll be interested in hearing from you all as the opp becomes exact how it's playing out for you personally.
