Isabella! I wondered if that was YOU! Wow! I believe that Pluto/Moon will coincide with some major shifts (literal and psychic) over the next few years and in the short run, I think you might be looking forward to Asteroid Eros in Capricorn! Wonderful to have you on the forum! Xxx Kim

Jade,
This is an amazing and most wonderful post. Thank you so very much for expressing so beautifully and deeply your experience.
You wrote: "... someone had once commented to me "the pain is gone from your eyes". There is a price to pay for such freedom of expression and the cost is never forgotten."
So very true. And such a beacon for Jamma as she makes her way.
Thanks, again! Amoroso

Yes-Thank you Jade...
Your post was very touching and it speaks of the wisdom gained through experience. Nothing else can replace it nor is it easy to put into mere words. You wrote beautifully and with a great understanding of the power we all have to reach out to others....and beyond our simple daily being. It often does not become as crystal clear in a life until you are pushed beyond your normal limitations of thinking....and then through the pain and growth certain experiences bring to you, one can choose to begin new chapters and new ways of reaching out-in positive and loving ways.
The amazing power of this KNOWING (through experience and growing forward) still astounds me each day. And a simple smile to another is just the beginning.....!!
Thank you for sharing your insight so wonderfully!
Hugs- GemStar

Dear Jade, Thank you for your most beautiful and generous message ... it is such a comfort to know that someone understands ... I've decided to put off the surgery until after the first of the year ... I figured it would be hard to muster all the help I will need during the holidays (also a convenient excuse to procrastinate) ... Even though it's my right shoulder (and dominant hand) which was dislocated and which has the torn rotator cuff, I have a lot to be grateful for. I slipped in the shower, and, with just the fingertips of my right hand, was able to grab onto a shelf and hold up my (not inconsiderable) weight, preventing me from plunging head-on into the faucets and tile ... despite everything that came afterward, I still feel proud of that Capricornian moment of self-preservation! I had to smile when you recalled envying the ability to do the little things we all take for granted ... after the accident, when my arm was strapped to my body, I had to learn all over again how to get dressed -- it sometimes took a half hour of pulling and tugging with my left hand, leaving me panting and sweating like I had run a race! ... and, although I could sit on the pot, "cleaning up" after myself was a bit challenging (I don't have a bidet, so I thank all the gods and goddesses for the hand-held shower unit) ... as for writing, I learned to sign my name by moving the paper instead of the pen ... But I can relate to the suicidal thoughts, too ... after my husband died, sometimes the only thing that comforted me was knowing I could "end the pain" if things got too bad ... ironically, though my injury seemed inconsequential compared to the loss of my husband, it provided a kind of distraction to the emotional anguish ... The things you said about my husband wanting me to be able to "reach out" were so lovely ... I was intrigued by your question ... ... Typically Pisces-like, I did sort of meld with him after we got married -- to the detriment of my own identity, I'm afraid (sometimes he got mad at me for "not being the woman he married," even though he acknowledged that his own dominant personality might have had something to do with it) ... being on my own (not to mention a recent Saturn return) certainly has pushed me -- kicking and screaming -- toward re-establishing my sense of self ... But could you explain what you meant by, "what does your name mean"? ... also, what do you need to do an accident chart? Finally, Jade, it's SO WONDERFUL to hear about your recovery and your return to the work you love ... and so very inspiring! ... I mean, if an Aries can handle the waiting game, why can't I? ... (actually, I have a special place in my heart for Aries people ... my husband's sun was in Aries, conjunct my Amor) ... Thanks again for writing to me ... it's hard to express the depth of my appreciation -- my mind and hands are poor translators of my heart. Picture a pomegranate and all the seeds are tears of gratitude ... Much love, Jamma

hello again everyone.I so enjoy reading all the amazing stories, makes me want to learn more & more about astrology.Thank you Kim for your response!X Are there any areas in particular to read about eros in Capricorn? sounds about time I came out of my cave again after licking my wounds etc. The last eclipse in my 7th. house(aries)brought total closure with my ex husband & this relationship, 19 years after we got together(1986). I read on this forum about eclipses re-ocurring exactly again every 19 years!! wow!! HOW AMAZING IS THAT? Ive healed a lot now & since this closure feel that my new journey has begun. yippeee. Now my chiron return in full swing. I also thought Jades response was so heartfelt. What a team!!!

Jade, Thankyou for taking time & effort to read, reflect& reply to my post.Very interesting readin what you wrote. I wonder can we ever go back?? I had not reached the place that you suggested 'of the chiron return' being the reward. I cant totally 'get that' Illjust have to sit a bit, with it; somehow I thought more healing needed to happen, yet the healing could be a natural progression from 'my awareness' of the transference of my (chiron) wound onto him & subsequently healing the abandonment( after he left. )Does that makes sense? Yeah?Im a little in the trepidation mode of turning 50 next year, but like you say " hey, maybe it will finally a place of easiness!!!! Thanks again for your deep insights, off to check out the eros stuff now IsabellaX

Isabella,
All I can say is that the moments of my Chiron Return--(3 of them this year as the transit over then retrograde back and then over again) have been monumental in my life. Everything has changed, internally and externally.
I wasn't even really 'watching for it' knowing it is such a long-term transit and only looking back did I realized on those exact days I A) quite the day job, B) Returned to Uni, C) got my 2nd ed of the Aptitude Book published, D) got my Temple Cat Tattoo.
Those are just the 'outside' events. The inner ones have been potent (as they would be to coincide with such change).
I've just had my final 'pass' of Chiron (28 Cap) and look forward to the Eros conjunction!!! They always bring quite a turn of events!
I'll check your dates for your returns, if you like:)
Warmly, Kim

Hi Isabella, This is interesting! You have ONE return, One pass. None of this forward and backward business! It's on Jan 26, 2006 @ 11:45PM (your birth place) It's a strong return with Jupiter (guardian angel) in Scorpio conjunct the Ascendant. I think you will respond to the change with enthusiasm, optimism and potency! Kim

I posted this in another thread, but I presume that it's relevant to this discussion as well?!:
On January 14, 2006 there will be a full Moon in Cancer at 24 degrees...how does this relate back to the Oct. 17th eclipse, which occured at 24 degrees of Aries-Libra (the other two cardinal signs)?!?
My Sun is at 24 Cancer, so I'm especially curious about this event, just as I was about the lunar eclipse since that occured exactly on my MC/IC axis (24 Aries/Libra)...

I commented on this a bit in the return thread. I think the reactivation of the eclipse point is important. It heats things up and if one has a planet there, or particularly in that grand modality cross--the cardinal degrees of about 20 to 29, it's going to be like a jump start. A bolt of electricity! Personal planets or angles are going to experience it the strongest. I have Neptune square Uranus in that line-up but it's more a generational thing. The houses involved get a blast--those with personal planets will probably have more focused experiences. Think about what planet is being 'awakened', the sign and the house. With these in mind you can weave together a theme of experiences that may coincide with the event. Working with the energy (honouring the gods) will move you into the flow--as opposed to resisting, denying or projecting! Kim

Hi Isabella,
Plot the return chart and you will see--Jupiter is on the Ascendant and Scorpio rising.
This 'Chiron return' chart is read then back to your natal. (see my article on reading returns on my main site.)
We can discuss it in more detail if you like.
Warmly, Kim
