Hello Everyone,
Who among us has planets or points within a degree (or 5) of 5 Taurus-Scorpio?
That is the degree of the Full Moon Eclipse tomorrow. Thoughts anyone? (Medusa and Eros square this point from 4/5Leo!)
My Saturn is at 4 Scorpio. I am going to listen to the feelings in “my bones” if I need to make any major decisions!
Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim,
I have my MC/IC axis at 4 taurus/4 scorpio. I don't know what this means for me. I'm thinking nothing. My life is pretty boring right now.

Iana, Perhaps be alert to some sudden event or change of heart on the “career” front (mission/profession/calling). You may get a blast of insight here.
Also, parents and domestic issues come to mind--things around home and emotional security.
The eclipse is like a full moon times 10! Certainly emotions run high and you may be a magnet for other people’s “lunacy”. Eyes open!
Let us know…
Warmly, Kim

Hej all, and Kim, Interestingly enough I am one of those people who have very little in the way of fixed signs in my astrological chart, however my son is an early degree Taurus with a Leo ascendant so this is going to have some kind of effect upon him.. but since he is "in development" he may find himself with many powerful lessons to be learned at this point in time. I just hope as a mother, that I will be able to handle anything that comes his way, that disurbs him, he has been quite restless lately! This past week he has been up quite late at night, and awake only one hour later, but up about three hours later at night. I read this as something symbolic about energy. For me, its because he has an unsually high level of concentration for his age, and doesn't like to break away from what he is doing, even to eat, or sleep. Occasionally he has desplayed behaviours that some could call "obsessive/compulsive" and then just as suddenly over the course of a few months completely abandon these behaviours on his own. Right now he is very intersted in computer games, numbers and machines... as well as spelling of words, (all in two different languages). It is very much keeping up with him on these phases.. as we call him here, Super energy boy! Other people admire him for his curiousity--because he has a focus other children of his age do not have. I have to read the whole collection of books to keep him amused sometimes. so I imagine that this transit will only serve to activate him farther. Thanks again for the information, Sfinxen

Hi Kim,
"That venus day" Kris here. My fifth cusp falls at 3 sc 24 and my vertex at 6 sc 3. You know the recent developments in my life. What does the eclipse is going to offer me.
Regards Kris

Hi Lunar Scorp,
Yes, the timing of Eclipses is very unusual—not straight forward at all. We might even say, not linear. Here is what I wrote in my article about causation and the nature of time:
“The problem of time is also exemplified in astrology. How is it that an eclipse, the noted "big gun" aspect in astrological events, can be "felt", (like a new or full moon), 4 days BEFORE the event, or even 30 days before the event?
Consider Susan Miller:
"A message brought to you by an eclipse is usually delivered within four days of the actual date of the eclipse, but not always. Yet you can sometimes feel a full moon lunar eclipse as early as two weeks prior to it or up to six months later when another planet is needed to trigger the news. (Most likely however, news will occur either at the eclipse or a month to the day later, plus or minus four day--that is your zone to watch if things don't happen immediately).
This becomes particularly interesting when you consider that 4 days before the eclipse or lunar event, the Moon isn't even in orb of the aspect but up to several signs preceding! If time is linear, how does that work?”
Now, we don’t want to start talking about the nature of TIME here, but it is important to realize that eclipses and other lunar events are not always felt at the moment of contact.
The “six months after” rule means that this eclipse is in effect until the next Sun-Moon opposition in the Scorpio/Taurus axis. That will be APRIL 24, 2005 when the sun is in 4 degrees Taurus and the Moon 4 Scorpio. You may not have an “event” involving the same individual but you may have an experience that is the result of your new clarity. You confronted some difficult emotions and cleared them. In April next year, we may see clearly where this leads.
Does this make sense?
Sometime the eclipse happens right on the money.
(Note: My Saturn @ 4 degrees Scorpio in the 3rd)
Yesterday, I was walking along thinking, this is such a breezy full moon eclipse! I felt light and care-free. It was within an hour of the exact opposition. I opened my PO box and in it was a government letter. I couldn't imagine what it was about. I opened it to find my granddaughter's birth certificate sent to my son care of me.
She died a year and 3 months ago.
I find it strange and curious (and awesome)how such synchronistic events are orchestrated. How? An eclipse of the moon occurs exact on my 3rd house (communication, written or spoken word, letters and documents) within a degree of my Saturn (past wounds, emotional blocks, bare facts, authority) square my Moon (mother's love, nurturing, offspring, feelings)and I get a letter in the mail from the government department of records containing my long lost granddaughter's birth certificate.
It's just incredible really...
Can anyone else report their experience of the eclipse yesterday?
Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim,
My experience of the eclipse was pretty much what you said it would be. There was, and still is some family tension going on. My parents (who are divorced) are not speaking, because of something my dad lied about (again). Also, my brother had a jealous (and sexist) fit, because his girlfriend picked up my Playgirl magazine. Not major, but enough to cause unease.
It's unfortunate about your granddaughter. My younger brother also has saturn in scorpio. He's lost a lot of friends through death. I often wonder how he deals with all of that.
Be well,
lana3959

Dear Kim,
Nothing extrodinary, but scorpio being scorpio, and the full moon being in taurus, with me I guess it was only about things of a sexual nature. (and deeper emotions that I could deal with from the past...)
My son has been still demanding but maybe he is moving into a phase and maybe it will be a full 6 months from now when these new things will come into effect...
My concerns for you and words just seem useless though reading about your loss and being reminded of it, and for what its worth my heart goes out to you. I too have experienced great loss in the past, and as someone else said, "Time heals nothing, but only rearranges our memories..." I can't offer much but my best wishes-
Take care,
Dorian

Thanks Svenskasfinx,
Yes, the memories do get rearranged, which is an action of Moon/Mercury/Saturn.
Any way you store it, Death is an integral part of life, and what better time to be reminded of it than at a full moon eclipse!
Warmly, Kim
Iana, it's interesting about Saturn/Scorpio and death. My son, who lost his daughter, has the same Saturn in Scorpio as me...he was born on my Saturn return, as I was on my mother's...

Hi to you all! I'm in awe with your Lunar Eclipse-experience, Kim, am glad you felt it as something positive, or am I mistaken? Death is an integral part of our lives, yes, but that realization does not always soften the impact. I still find it very hard to look at the pictures of my niece, who died in January 2001, only 5 weeks 'old'.
I received an important call the 27th, of someone I love, but hadn't expected him to resurface in my life at all...
These family patterns are so interesting. Lots of Pluto-Sun conjunctions and squares in my family. And in my brothers family (his daughter died) both parents and their first two daughters have their Moon in Scorpio. Now, how's that for statistics? My last niece is alive and healthy and has her Moon on 28 deg of Libra!
Love, Juliet

Hello Juliet,
Thanks for the response. I did see it as “positive” in the sense I felt the universe “tap” my shoulder. It was a kind of wake up and also, perhaps, a herald for the future. We shall see.
Isn’t it fascinating how these aspect patterns seem to “run” in families? It is like brown eyes and high cheek bones and wavy hair. EVERY member of my immediate family (parents, siblings, ex-husband and son…me too) has either Scorpio rising or Pluto in the 12th conjunct the Ascendant. It’s uncanny!
Thanks again for the post.
Warm wishes, Kim
Hi LunarScorp,
I am sorry to hear about the miscarriage. That would have been quite a shock. I do think Lilith is strong in your chart by aspect to the luminaries. I am not sure of her role as “baby killer”. I do know she can express some very deep anger and rage though I had thought the destruction of infants to be a metaphor for denied creative expression. This could be an area of research, albeit a prickly one.
Yes, we need to watch the 28th (and a few days before and after) of November and the time of the “twin” eclipse on April 25th 2005 for the “fall out” of energies stirred now.
Thanks for you comments!
Warmly, Kim

Hello LunarScorp,
I think myths do live out in uncannily literal ways sometimes. I have also always had my hair as long as it will grow and I can recall tears streaming down my face whenever my mother cut it. My asteroid Lilith is exactly conjunct my Neptune. Perhaps some things of Lilith, I long for in an ineffable way…
I also think your point about Lilith tending to flee problems -- not stick around to develop the tools to correct them -- is quite important. Sometimes we need to say “enough” and walk away. Other time, if we leave too soon, we may not have the intended experience. Lilith is a very powerful image, very willful. I am glad you had the positive experience of sitting down and sorting things out.
(and there was Lilith/Jupiter/Moon!)
Thank you for all these Lilith insights.
Warmly, Kim

Hello everyone,
To wrap up my experience of the Eclipse on my 3rd house natal Saturn in scorpio…two days ago, while still in the “Shadow of the Eclipse” I was riding my bike home from town (3rd house) when another cyclist came racing around a blind corner on the bike path and we collided like jousters! I had to have x-rays (Pluto/Scorpio) as they thought there was a broken bone (Saturn) and where was this??? My shoulder (Gemini/3rd house).
Now, what did I say earlier about having to “listen to the feelings in my bones” and about “getting a tap on the shoulder?”
Fascinating!

Kim Dear Kim; That must have been frightening, (I suppose in a Scorpio/Pluto way) I wonder what else aside from the x-ray being a Pluto related kind of thing was happening? I recall what you said earlier and I agree; fascinating!! Get better soon! Hope it didn't hurt! Ok, looking at my progressed chart, I have an exact conjunction of Ceres/Juno at 3 degrees scorpio and a progressed conjunction of Eros/Psyche at 12-13th degree scorpio...and a Vesta/Sedna conjunction going over between 2 and 3 degrees taurus--- not that I take into account so many events from progressions, I would have to wonder what this might activate in the progressed 4th/10th houses? These progressions are occuring in my natal 11th/5th house... but honestly I haven't really felt so active or activated at all, but more prone to not communicating as much as usual, and staying in my home... (this happens once in a while) It's anyone's guess why exactly, but I'm not "depressed" or anything like that, which some people have occasionally accused me of. (not my husband but people from afar)- Take care, svenskasfinx

Dear Svenskasfinx,
The crash was freaky. I rounded the corner, looked up, went oh F*%$#@ in my mind and then, whamo, we collided. I hurts a lot. I can now lift my hand higher than my face though, which is a real improvement.
I suspect a deeper element to the Pluto/Scorpio theme includes issues of power/control and survival. I live alone and am sole supporting on a kind of day to day level. The loss of use of my right arm for weeks make me face the realities of my life (no back-up, no immediately obvious support). It is hard to face yet ultimately an important exercise.
With your progressions, can we look at what progressed planets are aspecting natals? I feel the asteroids become more obvious in action when the transit or progress over a natal point. Are any of the conjunctions on an important mid-point (on including a personal planet or angle)?
I’d like to look at this further (hopefully more time tomorrow.)
Warm wishes, Kim
PS I am thinking that natal Neptune/Saturn inconjunct needs to retreat into a sense of solitude and sanctuary at times. This is only natural.
