Thanks Juliet......I agree with the idea that if it works...OK! However, sometimes it seems people twist or stretch different charts....aspects....transits etc....beyond what the true influence intends. Meaning.....Hey, this looks good (and to my benefit) so I will go with this! Ha,ha......
Astrology can be ambiguous at times....and the loose structure is fine up to a point! For me, I want to be within reason and not making things appear to be so which are only in my wishes!! Particularly when it comes to transits! Transits to other charts besides the Natal chart are an area I feel less confident about. Sometimes I do not experience anything at all in my Progressive chart yet do so strongly in my natal. So, I am trying to decide if this is true with a Solar chart on a consistant basis. Sorta like trying to glue something together that won't stick unless I stand there and hold it together! It doesn't really stick without my forcing it!! A crazy analogy but maybe that makes sense in a way!
Are there any other thoughts about this idea? Kim usually has a good feel for this...sometimes the parameters are definite and others....like you stated, if it feels right for you-use it!
Just trying to push the limits of the Eclipse influence and predictions for my chart....simply fascinating!

It just occured to me that my scheduled jury duty for the 18th in family court must be influenced in some way by the eclipses. When I called in for assignment the recording said all jurrors for the month of September are no longer needed. I have no idea why. There is more than one judge in family court. Since they just passed the millage they've been whining about to build a new larger juvenile home to house these young "criminals" I can't imagine they have no trials. They may have scared them all into a plea bargin for fear of even larger punishment if they go through trial. And I suppose all divorce cases could have been setteled at mediation, canceling the need to go to trial but that is never known until the last minute, not a month ahead. In proof reading this I noticed I left out the l in plea so it read pea. L is justice, and the ox goad, the incentive. Hmmm. That must be it, the plea bargin. I guess the 3 judges all got a month long vacation. Nice for them.

Aqua-Essie.....the jury pool was probably complete. Not everyone is chosen to go to jury duty and if the current juries were already selected, you were not needed. That is good for you! Many cases in family court do not go before juries....same with divorce. No jury there usually. There may be a long running criminial case which will keep the courts full for the next few weeks! Sounds like you got lucky!!!

But the recording said all jurors for the month of September were excused. I think there are 3 judges or so in family court and they couldn't all have long running juvinile criminal cases that they know will run throughout September, unless I'm missing something. I haven't heard of any big juvenile cases either.

Dear All, and here is my Eclipse event. Some of you might know I was in two small accidents lately and one big accident May of 2005, and was still suffering from pain in my knee and moreover, a partially numb leg. When at the jazz festival I had do drag my right leg upstairs when ascending stairs, and I felt worried, but put it aside. No back pain at all, no nerve pain in my leg. I'd put it off, but today I decided to go to the doctor's. He performed some tests, and then stated he is quite sure it is a herna/HNP/disk problem on the L4-L5, one disk above the disk I was operated on twice twelve years ago. I was so shocked and I kept shouting; 'But I do not feel any pain, I do not feel any pain!' But it makes sense, and I guess I've known it for some time, that is why I put the visit off. The nerves are so blocked muscle strength has apparently already been affected, and they won't operate till I lose control over my foot muscles or my bladder, which is good, cause that gives me some time. This lack of muscle strength has probably even been the cause of the accidents, because they were all caused by not stepping out with my right leg. I cried all afternoon. I felt my life had stopped, which is nonsense of course. I am frightened now, but at least it is clear what the problem is. The eternal optimist... Now I can see where to head from here... Love to all, Juliet

Oh Juiet....that is awful! I entirely empathize with you and want you to keep your spirits up! Things will be OK! In April 1999, I was diagnosed with a spinal tumor T4-T8 which was located in my spinal column and had grown til it compressed my spinal cord and paralyzed me from the chest down. It was a slow creeping up my legs...a loss of muscle strength and yes, I would lose my balance all of the time! It continued to get worse...and though I was under the care of an MD, the tumor was missed because the MRI was only performed on my lumbar area. I know what it is like to drag legs which are weakening. It is surreal. Mine obviously progressed over a course of months...bladder muscles weakened so much that doing the act of voiding was nothing short of an Olympic triumph!! The story goes on and on....had a steroid injection to reduce the possibility of hernial swelling....and strangely, I feel that it was this steroid injection which made the tumor grow more rapidly and the gradual symptoms of muscle/nerve loss increased at a crazy rate of time-possibly limiting the long-term damage! Before I knew it, I was not walking...went to the Emergency Room....called my Radiology MD pals...and ta-da....a very rare, non-genetic spinal tumor was discovered!! Weird! I am number 63 or 64 in the world to be diagnosed with this type of tumor. Good news....long story short, I am fully recovered and free and clear to walk the Earth!! So...do not fret my pet....consider this: Perhaps your situation may be solvable in earlier time. In the back of my mind, I am wondering if you too may have a similar case. The type of tumor is called an Angio-lypoma. It is benign and is usually found twice as likely in women between ages 30-45yo. Just like you, I thought, as did the MD, that it was a hernia condition. Alas, it was not. Mine started the same way..... Feel free to PM me if you have more questions...I will be happy to help where I can. In the meantime, hang in there. If I can survive a bizarre twist of fate...only to recover and dance Argentine Tango around the world, You will be fine too!!! I am happy that you finally sought the appointment you so dreaded. I know the feeling myself! But, taking care of things right away is better than procrastinating.....especially when it comes to your health. You did good by checking it out...and now you will need to explore things further. Perhaps an MRI of the entire spine will be in order.....soon. Sounds a little like a Neptune-Saturn thing as well!! The truth...... BIG HUGS- GemStar

Gem & Juliet, I took a look at how the eclipse hit both my Solar Return & Venus Return, my reasoning being that if something pops out as remarkable I'd likely feel it, but if not then it would be of passing consequence. It happens to be occuring on my POF at 0 Libra in my 11th house, which would definitely describe my feeling of happy initiation into a deeper social arena in the dance community. But I don't see anything more personal or profound going on. Is it hitting anything in your own return chart(s)? Anyone else's? AquarianEssence, you are such a resource of knowledge on asteroids -- I always learn something new when you bring that stuff forward! Gem, I was happy to hear about your 2-hr chat with you Love. Made me smile to hear of it, especially in light of how patience you've been of late in giving him all the space he has needed! I hope the weeks continue to bring the two of you close again! I mentioned my new dance partnership, which--especially based on the enlightening article Suz shared with us above--I would *definitely* say was directly precipitated by the solar eclipse. Well, on the day of the eclipse it got a little dicey -- something I said to my 23VirgoSun partner triggered a profound wound for him, causing him to release some very intense feelings. I had taken a private lesson with my instructor earlier in the day, and he noticed quite a few things "off" in my dancing, and it was clear that it was in part tied to the technique my new dance partner uses... "outmoded" is how the leading pros would view it, but they are so cutting edge that outmoded is relative. People were winning world championships with it just a few years ago. Anyway, my suddenly-appearing new creative relationship then suddenly teetered on the edge, because this gentleman apparently has lost not just dance partners to the interference of professionals, but also a fiancee, and he has been ill-treated by many women because he doesn't have the dashing appearance so coveted by ballroom dancers. He is relatively short, he has white hair, bad teeth & bite, looks older than the 60 that he is... I mean, the guy has definitely had an uphill battle, poor thing! But he is just amazing in his knowledge, and he's dedicated decades to the passionate study of dancing technique. There's something in his soul that needs expression in its own way, just as there is in mine -- he needs something who can learn everything he knows and who is happy to join in the dance with him, and I'm so hungry to learn in a massively accelerated way, which is his specialty as far as teaching. It took a couple hours on the phone to calm him down, to help soothe all the projections he was putting on me so that he could hear from me that I *want* to dance with him. He was prepared to abandon the relationship to pre-empt the sort of pain he's experienced before. I am so relieved he did not. We both ended up at the same dance social that night and had a lovely time. Talk about the eclipse's ability to bring emotional things out into the open to do some psychological housekeeping! And for me, this relationship is truly an *initiation*. That's the word I was already using in my own mind, and then Suz's article used it several times as well. I mean, this guy has literally *hundreds* of instructional videos, the most expensive sort, many of which are primarily intended for professionals, and he is sharing them with me in a very systematic way. I'm watching them, taking notes, outlining specifics on how to practice... I mean, this is very rarified stuff. It's very hard & very expensive to come by this kind of information & teaching. And it's coming to me at a negligible cost, and to our mutual delight! Another eclipsey thing -- I came down with a cold late Friday night, which blossomed into a flat-out lay-in-bed-for-three-days sort of ordeal. Which, frankly, when such a thing descends for me, always feels tremendously *cathartic* afterwards -- anybody else feel that way? There's no other way to get me to stay in bed for length of time, so I've had such deep rest now, and I feel like I'm the other side of something, you know what mean? Like I let something go, or gained more clarity. Oh, and in the same time frame with all the above, I also was offered a corporate job in my area of expertise, and I'm being considered for two others. The money right now is very welcome, so the movement forward feels like a very good thing. All spanning the literal occurrence of the eclipse! I still feel the energy, tho. It's perked up some fresh relationship energy -- several men are suddenly calling, asking me out, but they're not men I'm really interested in. Not sure where that's going, but all this has been happening at the same time. There's just so much going on, energywise. Well, that's my report! Ana -- where are you traveling to? I must've missed it whilst reading through the thread. Happy autumn, everyone! Samina

Hello Samina...thanks for the eclipse update!
The dance world is interesting in that even the professionals will disagree on styling and techniques of particular dances. You work hard to learn one thing the correct way only to be admonished by another teacher who believes differently! When I first started Tango, I didn't know enough to distinguish subtle differences.....sometimes I would per-fect a complicated step only to be told by the next professional that the new way was not traditional. OK....geesh. So I can empathize with you....further that, most instructors do not like their students taking 'lessons' from other dancers...who are not deemed professional instructors. It can be a complicated web as you know.
Your dance partner just completed a tr Pluto square transit to his Sun. It might be interesting to delve into the changes he has experienced over the past few years. Is he still settling down from some of these changes? The eclipse, though 6 degrees off his n Sun. may have rattled him nonetheless. Dance makes all of us vulnerable in many ways......
Good for you in taking the time to understand him and calm him down after a long discussion. I have an older gentleman friend, who is a fabulous tango dancer, and sometimes he gets so hard-headed about a particular it becomes useless to disagree. I just let it roll.....they can get awful stubborn!! The opportunity to learn from your new partner's tapes and knowledge is fabulous. Your iinstructor will continue to get testy no doubt....he is losing money by you learning through other people and means....just enjoy!!
Eclipse update....I spoke with my cousin yesterday and found out he lost his 7-yr job last Tuesday. It was unexpected and I felt it was part of the eclipse stuff for him. It happened in his 10th house!! Interesting......
Nothing else interesting on my end as far as big changes.....maybe I will be one of those stories where the effects happen 30 days later...or 6 mos later.....who knows?!!
Have a great day everyone! Hugs- GemStar

Apparently jury duty wasn't the only thing I was required to give up. This eclipse degree isn't even a big focus in my chart with any major bodies but 29 Virgo showed up on an event chart I cast for yesterday. My husband took food to feed his co-workers that should have brought him over $70 but only came home with $40 with food missing, $30 worth. I cast the chart for my awareness time. What is really haunting is I've seen this chart before. The cusps are identical to when I was fired in 2002 and my ex husbands chart, identical. That is only true for a few minutes each day, 2 min. 55 sec. to be exact. I don't understand what this is trying to teach me. I don't have anything at these degrees. Just when I thought a door was actually open it hit me in the rear. I worked al day Sunday preparing chile, pitas, wraps, subs and brownies.
By transit Moon was on my Lilith and square this ascendant. How does that fit in here? I know how she fit with my being fired, but this? Saturn is square the solstice point of natal Lilith and 12th cusp is critical degree that is square my crisis point of Mars/Jupiter. But I don't get it. Am I an ex theif paying for past sins but it was postponed until later life?
I mentioned that the Incan god of deception is at 29 degrees Virgo but why would he only come to life in my later life? I just remembered something about Hershey (also there). Besides being an ingredient in my brownies, there is a man there that calls my husband cracker because he is white with blonde hair. So my husband calls him Hershey because he's chocolate brown, just affectionate play. I told my husband if you put them together you have a smore. Wasn't chocolate sacred to the Incan's? Crackers go with what was stolen, Chili. It was about 20 cups, the degree of Mercury and Saturn. Mars shows about what was accounted for.
So I thought I'd look to see where they are right now. Taguacipa is conjunct his own south node now at 3 Gemini in the 4th of that chart, opposing MC but not a real significant player unless being parallel Persephone is important. Hershey is at 5 Virgo with my pre birth new moon and at the solstice point of where the Sun was when I was fired.
Askalaphus is at (I keep seeing ask all of us and ask a phalus in this name, weird) 29 Cap and way out of bounds besides trine to the eclipse. It is placed in the 12th of that chart. I looked up Persephone because Askalaphus saw her eating the seeds and told Pluto. She is at 20 Leo exact conjunct Saturn who rules the 12th. Hmmm. I was just reading yesterday about a fixed star whose name meant swallower but can't remember which. Persephone was prominant when fired too, being conjunct my Saturn. Right now her node is conjunct Uranus. That means her south node is conjunct my Sun in 2nd. Hmmm again. But we can't afford to feed the world (north node and Uranus in Pisces).
On of the motives our co-workers might have had for getting us fired is that the profit sharing money we accumulated would be forefitted and given to them, ie what might have gone to waste could go to then. That was their policy with unvested employees but they didn't take it away after all, they left it alone in our case, I'm sure because they knew they were wrong for firing us. The food came up missing after lunch so maybe the person assumed it would just go to waste, that it was extra and just took it. But it was enough to feed my whole family and my husband kept the heat on it to keep it safe. I think there are others there struggling to get by on $8/hr just like us but they shouldn't take from someone with just as little as them. This came to mind becuase the deception god takes what the creator god made and turns it bad. Not much goes to waste with me though. I'm sure it'll work out. Aries/Libra are intercepted in 2/8 with all the energy invested in 8 showing the lack of balance.
And guess what else. There is an asteroid Chile. It is at 5 Sag, opposite Taguacipa, the shadow, deception god. AND the north node, where I need to make it, is almost 29 Virgo, right where all these asteroids are in my chart in my income house. It is in direct motion and will hit the aries point Oct. 2nd. He was only asking $2/bowl. I don't think that's high. But this seems to be saying I should be making income from it. Natal Chili is 21 Virgo, conjunct Lachesis and my man's Uranus, with the node conjunct my Mercury just two degrees away.
Sorry to go on here but this is really hurting. I'm sure I'll get a call any minute now to make a bunch of subs to bring in because I only sent 2, the ones someone asked for. Yep, he just called to have me deliver 7 more. He's getting $3 for those.

You sound upset and want to know why this shortage is happening to you. I can give you a different perspective if you'd like. I agree that the solar eclipse degee isn't a big focus in your chart, but I see many things that I feel highlight what you've just described happened to you. I see many repeated themes in the transits and eclipses. I added the parentheticals to show the connection I'm thinking of in particular. The biggest thing to me is that the eclipses, the transiting nodes, are in your H2/8 axis. Eclipses energize the houses they're in and show where we're going to focus our attention for the next 6 months whether they aspect anything or not, but especially so when the eclipses conjunct a house cusp, particularly an angle, or conjunct or oppose a natal planet, which they do in your case, or when the tr nodes aspect same or cross a house cusp, aspect a natal planet. The tr SNode in Virgo is cj your natal Mercury, ruler of your Sun (will, goals, men in your life), ruler of H2 (income, possessions, what you value) and H11 (groups). There is something karmic about times when the nodes or Pluto cj or oppose a natal planet. The Virgo/Pisces nodes have a theme of service and healing, but can also be associated with victimization. Some things Mercury is associated with - in a negative context - would be miscommunication and even thieves. There is mutual reception (added energy) with tr Venus cj your natal H2 Mercury and tr Mercury cj your natal H3 Venus. Venus is the ruler of your H3 (Libra) and your H10/IC (Taurus). Venus rules pleasure, art, and food too. Tr Uranus (sudden, shock) is in H8 (shared resources) and squares the cusp of H11. The Sept 4 lunar eclipse was cj tr Uranus. Natal Uranus is in H12 (secrets). Tr Uranus (retro) is opposing your natal Sun right now (second pass). The Sun sits in H2 and is the ruler of H1. To me, this opposition of eclipse/tr Uranus to your Sun is of major importance. Saturn is transiting your H1 and is the ruler of your H6 (work, health). Natal Saturn sits in H3 (daily activities) on the cusp of H4 (home). Wherever Saturn is transiting, you can expect to feel a blend of the house that Saturn is transiting along with the house that Saturn sits in and the house that Saturn rules. Saturn is 4 deg from natal Pluto. Scorpio rules H4. Natal Pluto squares your natal Scorpio Moon. Pluto aspecting the Moon like that adds emotion. Tr Pluto is trining natal Pluto. Saturn will be conjuncting natal Pluto which will square your Moon and trine tr Pluto. Plutonian themes are power/powerlessness. Saturn transiting Pluto can give strength or bring a loss of some kind. Tr Saturn will make 3 passes over your Pluto. The last pass tr Jupiter will join tr Pluto in your H5, a special house for you with Leo rising, and will trine tr Saturn. Sounds interesting. The tr SNode will move to your Sun. The tr NNode will meet with tr Uranus. So that's a lot of analysis, a lot of aspects going on for losing a day of hard work and $30. It really takes a lot of aspects to show any loss at all. You'll learn something from this so that you won't lose more in the future. It's probably a blessing in disguise. Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and the nodes always seems to be able to find even the tiniest cracks where there's a leak and show us where we need to strengthen ourselves. Because of this in all likelihood there is a probability that from time to time you will experience a little bit more of the unexpected with regard to work and pay whenever your planets are highlighted like this. There will not necessarily be more theft, but I'd say until Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, the nodes and the eclipses move on, you're going to be okay, but there will be more hard work called for due to something unexpected, or perhaps a feeling some days that you're just spinning your wheels. You'd have to take into consideration your progressions and your solar return for the year. There will be a New Moon on your H3 Venus (daily tasks, romance) on Oct 22 and a New Moon on your H4 Moon (home, family) on Dec 20 just in time for the holidays. New Moons are a great time to start new projects in those areas emphasized. What do you think? Does any of this make any sense? AqMoon

Thank you AqMoon for all your precious time. Yes, it makes a lot of sense. The major theme of my life for quite a few years now has been my value and have been waking up to all the times I have allowed myself to be taken advantage of in the name of love and service. My husband is learning to be more organized and disciplined in all this too, not a strong suit with Mercury in Pisces. After this happened all the guys including his boss started throwing encouragement and compliments our way to let us know they appreciate it. It will be interesting to see what happens as Eros transits all these degrees. Even with the small loss at least it has been an open door for me to bring in a little income. Thanks again.
