Hi Aries Moon I had that unrequited love thing when Pluto got to the cusp of my 7th house which is Sag The man was a neighbour in a cluster of town houses and could not have been less interested What I liked about him was he was in deep mourning and pain after leaving his wife who had a lover He was so authentic and real in his pain than a lot of people around me who were not in their feelings He helped me to acknowledge a lot of my own feelings to myself and not to avoid feeling I am still loosely friends with him and have nothing more than a mild affection for him now Pluto has moved on

Thanks for that Ana, yes that rings very true to me about it helping me to acknowledge feelings and not to avoid them.
I'm going to have to put something up on Kim's Draconic chart page as I've been thinking more about Pluto into Capricorn in respect of my draconic chart - I have a fixed t-square with Saturn opposite Venus square Neptune which in the draconic comes out as:
Venus 0 Aries 57 Saturn 0 Libra 57 Neptune 1 Cancer 25
add in transiting Pluto at 0 Capricorn, and I have a Cardinal Grand Cross there!
I'd always been unnerved by that fixed t-square in my tropical chart (in Aquarius/Leo/Scorpio), it had almost become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Relationships will be unhappy, so I may as well avoid them altogether, or pick people I know to be unavailable. So finding those planets at Aries Point placements in the draconic chart is a revelation. They all represent beginnings, and very dynamic energies. This discovery has come at a time when I'm beginning to understand myself so much better (Sagittarius Ascendant in my Solar Return last year, with Jupiter rising, so I knew it would be an exploring year!)

Hi Ariesmoon and ana, thanks for sharing your Pluto in the seventh house experiences I have to say that Pluto in Cap feels more stable and I'm much more comfortable in myself. Pluto is transiting sq Uranus for me, exact yesterday morning - Its a relief to become clear and feel as though I've shaken off something that has been wieghing me down for a long time. at the same time I feel I am 'much too young to feel this old' - and recognise that I've been hiding for way too long now. Time to come out and face the world again, with or without a 'partner'. I guess this is the influence of Saturn. I wonder what Pluto in Capricorn will manifest on a global scale? I don't watch much tv but have noticed on the rare occasions that I've turned the box on that there are a lot of very scary ads on tv - the government ads for skin cancer, anti smoking and other 'public announcements' like wearing seatbelts and speeding. REally confronting and graphic stuff. hm pm

There is a wealth (Pluto) of information building here so quickly! Thank you everyone! Ana and others have asked about Pluto and finances and I wanted to post something I found enlightening when it comes to our RELATIONSHIP to money. It is a fee download from my friend and good vibe coach Jeannette Maw (we are co-writing a piece on Year of the Rat and Law of Attraction...I'll post that link when it's complete) To look at your relationship to money and how it effects the rest of your life (think 8th house sex and money to start with!) here is the link: www.goodvibecoach.com/Just click on "is your money vibe kinked?" If Pluto in Capricorn can do anything, it can coincide with the transformation of finances! More soon, Kim

Thanks Kim, I'll definitely be looking further at that link.
What I'm beginning to sense with Pluto into Capricorn (and simultaneously into the 8th house!) is that it's helping to identify the structures (brick walls, or more accurately concrete bunkers!) that I've put up over many years to protect myself and that are preventing me from living a fulfilled life. And it's helping me to begin the process of tearing those down and replacing them with appropriate (but not impermeable) boundaries. The 8th house is small in my chart - only 17 degrees, the last 15 of which are Capricorn. But Pluto will still be around in there until 2015 before completing the second half of its stay in Capricorn in my 9th. It's got a way to go yet, but it's already making its presence well and truly felt (and not only with my tax bill).
Saturn being so strong in my chart anyway, in 10th/Aquarius and conjunct MC/South Node, (and of ruling most of the 8th) means these really are strong, inherited behaviour patterns surrounding intimacy and self worth. It's been very hard to acknowledge, let alone start to dismantle them. But I have loving and healing friends, and am now enjoying the process. Removing bricks makes windows and doors, and they let in air and light. That's an amazing feeling.
Another way this transit is manifesting itself is through music and acknowledging the deep, therapeutic power it has for me personally. I know there's a strong link between Capricorn and music - I've always loved singing, not professionally but for fun around the house. But I'm increasingly finding music very healing. I've found myself crying when singing, when I've needed to cry but haven't let myself. I was using the words to express the emotions I needed to get out.
It's wonderful to be able to share these thoughts and experiences on the forum as this transit unfolds!

As mentioned above my Venus is 0 Cancer in 2 Yesterday my best male friend died of a heart attack in our home state [ My Venus is in a t sq with Jup/Nep and Eris so pretty stressful in itself] He had just had his Jupiter return and transiting Jup/Pluto were approaching his 4th cusp Also Uranus would be lurking around his Juno opp Mars/Sat/Pluto........He is the person I would talk to about such stuff in person so I am planning to get hold of him on the other side!!!!! Saying that reminds me....our friendship began in 1993 when Pluto was in my 7 and has stopped now it is leaving I had even felt that our friendship needed to end as it was somehow blocking more complete relationships really taking off...........we have been thro a lot of trips together.............end of an era

Hello Ana,
I am sorry to hear your best male friend died yesterday...I'm sending love and peaceful thoughts.
I wasn't going to post this on the forum yet, but my Venus, as you know, is 0 Cancer and my brother died 14 days ago, on the last eclipse. As Kris mentioned early on in this thread, the houses that Venus rules in the natal chart may well be activated by the Pluto opposition to Venus. I have Libra on the 3rd house cusp of Siblings.
It's always such a shock when these events arrive, no matter what the planetary positions.
My brother was my first best friend.
Warm wishes, Kim

Dear Kim and Ana,
So sorry to hear the news of death during this transit. Please check the dignity of Venus in the charts of those two natives and confirm if it has heavy affliction besides its house rulership in their charts and also in your charts. For Kim, Venus signifying 3rd house indicate younger brother. What about your case Ana ?
I checked a couple of other cases in whose charts Venus on Aries point (aries and libra). They did not have any serious concerns so far with this transit even though venus is not well placed.
I feel we need to read combining the strength of venus in 'their charts' with ours. May Cancer Aries point is very special since 4th house signify 'end of matters'.
As for me this transit is a GREAT GOOD ONE so far sextiling my natal Venus at 0 deg Sco in 4th owing 4th and 11th houses.
Any comments / insights folks
regards Kris
PS: Juliet, I never know you are an Administrator too for the forum

Thanks for the kind messages and so very sorry about your brother Kim I hope Pluto is satisfied and will let us be now I kind of thought my Venus being afflicted was making it worse than some My Venus is in 2nd My friend and I were close but had a real Pluto battle going on- in a subtle way being polite English I have been singing mock requiem masses to my friend in spirit and talking to him and crying but a touch of relief too and more than a touch of fear My friend who passed had Venus in Taurus 4 in 8th sq Mars/Pluto/Saturn 12 in 11th sq Chiron in Sco in 2nd so not an easy one and I was quite surprised he made it thro his Second Saturn return with his heart problems He is getting a good send off with lots of friends Prior to this my son no 1 said he never wants to speak to me again Well he says this about every six months - marijuana fuelled immaturity - so I am used to it but this time I kind of felt the same way........and if by not speaking to me he is safe from Pluto that is fine by me I have been most interested/anxious to see what happened to his relationship during this time as his gfriend is 0 Cap rising with Neptune opp Moon in Cancer He told me he is going away for six months so it must have ended in some way I hope that is the end of it
I hope this is not too depressing but it is good for research!!!!!

Can I ask to rewrite the rest about house placements and ownerships of venus and pluto. I could not understand what have you written above. Kris
