Thanks, Aphrodite and Kim! Here's my solar return and natal chart: So what I see is my SR Moon in the 7th house in sensuous Taurus, with a stabilizing trine to Saturn and a nice sextile to Uranus. The SR Moon therefore is a nice bridge to that Saturn-Uranus opposition. And my emotional focus is relationship - I've been in a relationship for 5 months now, first time in many years. My natal Venus-Pluto conjunction is brought to the SR MC (within a degree). My SR Venus conjuncts my natal Asc/Moon; SR Jupiter opposite conjuncts my natal Desc/Chiron. SR Ascendant is in Scorpio - ruler Pluto is stationed at 0 Cap (which is trining my natal Mercury and Venus/Pluto). It's in my SR 2nd, and I've become obsessed with improving my financial standing! Or, the other ruler Mars in the 8th with an irritating square to Mercury Rx in 11th! Not sure what that's about. SR Sun is in my 10th, so focus on career - with a nice conjunction to Pallas for strength and wisdom. I'm feeling burned out in my job and looking to long-term solutions. I imagine that even as Saturn-Uranus in the SR chart are at the ends of 4th/10th houses, this tension between career and emotional life are visible here. They also border on 5th/11th, personal creative expression and being a team player. (I'd love to go back to freelance work, but the economy requires I stay at this job at least for now.) I'll be seeing my local astrologer this week for my annual update - looking forward to it! Attachments:

The charts show up beautifully! Great looking return--much like my grandson's birth chart With Scorpio rising you have an emp on natal 4th house--home, family, security, stability--and natural ruler moon in the 7th in Ta suggests partnership in the home or shared emotions, shared dwelling. If domestics have been topsy-tervy it looks like smooth, passionate sailing ahead. I see ruler Mars trine Eros! Aries on the SR 6th says new for you--adventurous daily routine--new health, new job, new day to day life that (Venus rising) includes what you love and who you love:) Wonderful! I'm so curious as to your yearly reading. Do let us know the highlights! I see a creative, passionate, intense and romantic year ahead! Best, xKim

Thanks, Kim! Ah yes, of course, your new grandson is a Virgo, with some sweet aspects like that Venus/Jupiter one! What's his Moon sign? Interesting you picked up on the Moon and 4th house emphasis this year. Next month my pMoon goes into Cancer, so that plays right in (and will sextile my natal Merc/Venus/Pluto). And, in March, my pVenus will exactly conjunct my IC. Some cozy homefront stuff for sure! Will report back from my reading. I really enjoy this astrologer - she was a psychotherapist for 10 years before she learned astrology.

Dear 3rd, How was your reading, I'd really like to know! I started rereading a book on SR's, so I will give you my input later, will be on a short trip with my colleagues now, with a Sun-Saturn conjunction on natal Eros tomorrow...

Had my yearly reading a few days ago. Unfortunately I was very tired and unfocused plus I should have booked more than an hour because we had so much to talk about! I finally listened to the tape last night to take notes. Not too much focus on the solar return chart because we were looking at the composite chart of my relationship and our synastry. Then on to my transits and progressions (my pMoon had just moved to 0.0 Cancer!) and briefly touched on the solar return.
Anyway... SR Moon in 7th: lots of emotional energy on relationship this year, with a square back to Chiron and Neptune in SR 3rd connecting that healing energy dynamic; this echoes my transits with Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune transiting my 7th natal house, tJupiter will station on my Descendant.
tPluto is still in the midst of a 2-year trine to my natal Mercury & Venus/Pluto stellium, enabling me to shift old relationship patterns and experience deep connection and relationship.
SR Sun in 10th: focus still on career (it was a difficult year with Saturn transiting my Sun square Saturn), but with Saturn also in my SR 10th it's unlikely I'll make a change this year. However, lots of Jupiter transits this year should open up possibilities for the future.
tNeptune is squaring my natal Mars in Taurus in my 10th for a lo-o-ong transit! The initial stage of the transit being the most challenging in terms of confusion and fatigue, I should be able to eventually use the positive side of intuitively knowing how to act (Neptune also eases some of the bull-doggedness of Mars in Taurus). Plus tUranus is sextiling my Mars at the same time, breaking through with insights.
tJupiter this year lightens my load this year after such a heavy Saturn transit year (and Saturn-Uranus were directly on/opp my Sun last Feb, very stressful). Jupiter stations on my Desc/Chiron opposite my Moon and sextile my Saturn, then will make various aspects to my Venus/Pluto, my MC/IC, my Sun, and my Mars all year.
Composite and relationship charts were interesting! We are very different, but have some great connections. Need to let the differences complement each other rather than polarize. But overall it seems to be a very healing relationship for me.

Hi 3rd, Just a few short thoughts, my first try at SR analysis, so bear with me, please: My point of view is that Saturn in the 10th will enable you to restructure your goals and attitude at work in a Virgoan manner, analytical and discriminating. Cusp 6th SR is Aries, so you'll put fire in the day to day business of work. Jupiter in the SR 3rd will provide you with lots of opprtunities to communicate. With that prominent opp to Venus in SR 9, is there a possibility of studying? Or going abroad? Since you're worrying about your income, freedom loving Jupiter is ruler of the SR 2nd house also, so I feel communication will positively influence your income. What did you do when free lancing? Venus opposes Chiron as well: healing through love. There's a Grand Earth Trine of Moon, Saturn and NN, in respectively the 7th, 10th and 3rd. (3rd houseNorth Node ) So I'm expecting to see some nice and steadying energies influencing those areas of life, destiny is calling you. Forget the 'Saturn or squares are bad stuff', 3rd, it's all about energy... Love, Juliet

Thanks, Juliet! I guess only time will tell how this year spins out, but lots of good stuff in the charts! I work as a writer in the medical field. When I was freelancing, I did writing in other industries as well - training and marketing. In my present job, I write basically all day long - deadline after deadline - I'm afraid it's burning me out. So Jupiter in the 3rd sounds like just more work!! And way too exhausted to do any studying. But I'm enjoying my weekends with my bf - it's like being on vacation whenever I'm with him. It is interesting to see the SR NN in the 3rd echoing my natal 3rd house NN. With SR Chiron there, it's still about medical writing, I guess!
