Well everyone, this IS a different energy, with Mars in Cancer at the zero degrees Aries point sort of place, it gives me the feeling that this is going to be a more impulsive spring for me.
I have already "burned the candle from both ends", started "heated discussions" (at home) did some techincal drawings (astrology related) some beadwork, planted things in the flowerboxes, and helped my son make a windchime of tiny clay flower pots...
There IS much more to do....and hopefully I can do it all.. but with that aside, I don't feel very "active" in spite of Mars crossing over my ASC... in spite of Mars soon coming to its point of "return".... (while the Sun is in Aries?) what ever the case, this is the Mars that may actually get things done this time, at least, if Cancer is a good indicator, in the home!
Be well everyone, see you around if I can, because I am using EVERY minute to its "max"...
Blessings and warm wishes svenskasfinx

I'm looking forward to Mars hitting Cancer, too, svenska! I like Mars where he's at right now (sitting on top of my Venus), but he'll inevitably begin to heat things up even more for me when he hits Cancer. My Sun is at 00Cancer, my NN at 02Can, and my MC at 07Can. I'm already way more fired up and taking action all over the place compared to how I've been with all this Piscean/Neptunian energy the past few months, and I'm loving it!!!!! Let me echo your words... " this is the Mars that may actually get things done this time... in the home!"Report back with all your Mars in Cancer accomplishment! sami

Well I haven't done that much swimming during the really cold winter days so Mars in cancer should be a good time to start back regular

I realize this time, this year with Mars in Cancer, about to hit a Mars return, I am boldly stepping where I wouldn't normaly go and trying to deal with it..
They say in Grant Lewis astrology book, "Mars conjunct Sun - Fools step in where angels fear to tread..." Recalling the April Fools blogg in Myth and Culture and how Mars was related to the tarot card "The fool"..
(reminding me also of the IChing number 10 "Treading" and about being "daring or foolish" in its symbology.. "treading on the tiger's tail..." for anyone who has studied the IChing a bit...)
To go somewhere and be bold, Mars functions in a theory of ways, one can be the innocent "Fool" blinding not knowing exactly where he is going.. and he doesn't see the danger ahead.. and may get a few knocks in the head if he isn't obsverent, or that the innocence is a protective feature, and so is boldness because it is purely unexpected for many that a not so bold animal such as a lamb or a rabbit could actually go up against a preditory animal and survive.. but it is often his boldness which is admired.
It comes back to something someone wrote to me; "You have hounoured me with your confidence,...." once again echoing that Mars in the first house quality I have in me, something I don't realise so often because in order to function within my relationship with my husband I need to comprimise quite alot... so my boldness becomes a tool he can use in me, when he feels that he doesn't have what it takes to move forward.
In any case, Mars symbolicly is the drive, the agression, but the other side of the coin is the awareness how agression and boldness effects others.. and so maybe the bumbling fool, super nerd... the child who smiles quickly and turns to run and hide.. other versions of Mars and how it expresses itself when its not being directly "bold".
Ok, I have to stop now..
Be well,
