Hi all,
I just observed that, not only is transiting Pluto (3rd house) exactly on my natal Sun (opposition) and Ceres (conjunct), with Mars joining them tomorrow, but transiting Ceres (12th house) is also exactly conjunct my natal Pluto!
This double Ceres-Pluto whammy is interesting, to say the least. I'm in an entirely new place with respect to understanding the true Source of all of one's support & supply in life...have gone to new depths of trust and knowing, even in the face of circumstances that would contradict that my support & supply is at hand. It's been very, very powerful...a place of understanding I feel I've sought my whole life.
Has anyone else experience an intense Pluto-Ceres passage in their life? I would like to hear of others' experiences...

I look forward to hearing more! I feel absolutely that I am in the process of "giving birth" to something new, an entirely new energy...it's the sensation of channeling powerful creative energies, not an unfolding of something that has come before, but a "something out of nothing" quality. I've diverted the path of my life into the direction of my heart's desire, and am doing the work of manifesting support for that "out of the ethers". It's been an all-or-nothing choice, putting all my understanding and courage and faith and knowing to back up what I desire, and it has been utterly transforming doing the work. Reminds me of when I first became a mother...how transforming that was, how there was a building up to the day, but then on that day my life and path & self was never the same, so instantly shifted. I also noted that BML is also exactly hitting the same Ceres/Sun opposition. What powerful energies all convening...

Samina, that describes the transformation I felt when T. Pluto crossed over natal Ceres. Exactly-- it's the sensation of channeling powerful creative energies, not an unfolding of something that has come before, but a "something out of nothing" quality. Mars is conjunct Pluto today, on your Sun-Ceres opposition and on my Venus - mars opposition. Goodness, I hadn't even glanced at my mars return! A new 2 year work cycle starting in a few days. Will check that out And BML? These faster moving bodies are going to trigger Pluto. Big things on the horizon. I love that you are diverting your path into the direction of your heart's desire! Perfect. Beautiful. That's the first step to joy...that IS joy!

Thanks ana,
I've mentioned before, my Ceres is 0Libra and my mother's Sun is 0 Libra and my sun's Mercury is 0 Libra. (we all have Saturn at 4 Scorpio as well, all 29 years apart) It's more than a maternal tie though. There is something passed along through Ceres--think Demeter and Kore, or Persephone. I think it represents a genetic gift--something is passed down.
That's probably not in any text book but an idea that's been taking shape for a while...more research required!
