Hi Everyone, I've recently ordered and begun studying my Eros Relationship Report. It explains so very much about what I am experiencing, that it is uncanny. I'm still reading, rereading, and digesting and am not quite ready to share. But it did get me thinking about my favorite movies and how heavily they are all into that Eros link. I decided to try to see which Eros contacts the movie is depicting. I'm going to give it a start. I'd love for the rest of you to jump in and contribute. 1. Shakespeare in Love: Eros/Sun, Eros/Neptune, Eros/Eros 2. The Upside of Anger: Eros/Psyche, Eros/Chiron (definitely) 3. The Royal Tannenbaums: Eros/Chiron, Eros/Saturn, Eros/Jupiter 4. The Family Stone: Eros/Sun, Eros/Venus, Eros/Chiron, Eros/Psyche 5. Shrek: Eros/Chiron, Eros/Sun 6. The Last Samurai: Eros/Jupiter, Eros/Sun, Eros/Chiron, Eros/Nodes 7. Dances With Wolves: Eros/Sun, Eros/Jupiter,Eros/Chiron,Eros/Psyche, Eros/Nodes 8. Something's Gotta Give: Eros/Sun, Eros/Nodes, Eros/Chiron 9. Sex, Lies, and Videotape: Eros/Chiron I don't know about you, but I see a trend here. I seem to have a strong belief in the healing power of love, even though in every instance except Shakespeare the protagonist(s) went through hell before they hooked up with their loved one. Of course in Shakespeare they went through hell afterward. I frequently think about how many times she must have gotten beaten on the voyage to Virginia. Anyone care to contribute? Pam

Not sure I can contribute on your favourite movies Pam, as I haven't seen all of them. But I can really get what you're saying about the healing power of love. Going through hell before you hook up - or never hooking up at all - seems a pre-requisite for me (Eros square Pluto!) but doesn't it just make you stronger in the end? I hope so!
I can put a few of mine in, which seem to tie in with my Eros conjunct Mercury/Gemini, Eros sextile Venus/Leo, Eros trine Saturn in Aquarius and, not forgetting, Eros (exactly) square Pluto!
Some Like It Hot (love with wit, and in disguise) - Eros/Mercury Muriel's Wedding (love through dreaming of playing a part) - Eros/Venus Torch Song Trilogy (pain and fear in expressing love as it needs to be expressed, fear of being different) - Eros/Saturn LA Confidential (love through the tearing down of secrecy and corruption) - Eros/Pluto
Even that short list was fun! What a great thread.

Hey Ariesmoon,
A good number of my movies would be Eros/Pluto too. Hmm, I think I have that one some kind of way. I know my interest does. And I was hoping that people would post their movies and interpretations as well as comment on mine. Where would you put Brigette Jones? She definitely has an Eros thing going on.

From what I remember of Bridget Jones I'd say Eros/Neptune - she does a lot of "dreaming from afar" and the reality tends not to live up to it!
I can identify with that. I hadn't looked at minor aspects with Eros, but now I do, there's a quincunx/inconjunct with an orb of 3 degrees between Eros in Gemini and Neptune in Scorpio. Perhaps that's a bit wide, but it seems to be operative to me.
What about "Gone With the Wind"? I'd say that was Eros/Mars when Rhett Butler appears!

Rhett Butler? Yes, Lord! Eros/Mars and possibly Eros/Nodes. Fated. And Scarlet mooning over that pallid Ashley, that was Eros/Neptune for sure because she didn't even know who he was.
