Hi everyone,
My psychic said I'll make a successful return to stand-up comedy after attending to family matters. So I looked at my Hollywood relocation chart and noticed that my conception Venus is likely exactly on the MC. Though the exact time of conception can be hard to pinpoint, with my mom's help, I was able to get it within a couple days. I started looking into conception planets when Isaac Starkman pointed out the explosive T square in James Dean's conception chart. I don't know, however, if anyone has thoroughly checked conception planets' placements in relocation charts.

Hi Kelly Although I haven't looked into this in respect of relocation charts, your post made me look further into conception charts generally. I found a great link you may wish to try which helped me to work out a conception chart. You might wish to try it if you haven't already come across it, I found it very easy to follow. It's www.vedicstudy.com/conception.aspx

Hi Ariesmoon,
Thanks for that link. I'd like to explore conception further when I have more time.

I recall that Isaac wrote that the Bailey Conception function in Solar Fire is inaccurate. I had thought it was odd there were such long gaps between the possible conception times.

Hi Kelly, I am very dubious about most conception charts. However, when you can verify the accurary of the chart, it would be worth examining. It is a very interesting topic. It is personal for me, as well. My mother was pregnant 11 times with only 2 live births. My brother is 9 years older than me, with many lost siblings in between. After so many failed attempts she was determined to save me. She is fond of telling me the story. It seems that the doctor told her that I was "head down and ready to be born at any time" on 25 Feb 62. Taking into account the supposed conception date, my projected birthdate would be 11 or 12 Mar 62. I was not born on either date, but if I had been born on the 11th my moon would have been in Gemini, exact or near 6 degrees and sun in Pisces, within minutes or exact of 20 PI 40. Instead, I was born more than 2 months later on 27 May, with my Moon at 20 PI 40 and Sun at 6 GE 06. Clearly I was intended to manifest some form of this Pisces/Gemini energy, but something happened to change my destiny a bit. I can't begin to tell you what a journey of exploration this has been to investigate all the potential and actual parental connections and karmic ties in the various charts - this versus that. Incredibly, it seems my Mom was pregnant for almost a year! She is fond of telling me that she was laid up in bed for months because she was so determined that she was not going to lose another child (ME!). Fast forward to 1990 and beyond. Can you imagine a doctor allowing a pregnancy to progress that long? A modern western doctor would have induced labor long before this scenario would have played out. I've done a lot of thinking about what happens when human action or karmic events intervene to change the destined time of birth. I wonder how often a soul is frustrated when it cannot follow a chosen path. What if that had been me? By the way, any birth that occurs between 37 and 42 weeks of pregnancy is considered full-term. Statistically about 5 out of every 100 births will occur beyond 42 weeks of pregnancy. Doctors don't like pregnancies to go more than 2 weeks past the norm and usually induce labor. Therefore, most late births occur by the 44th week. But some go even longer. The record, according to a pending Guiness Book entry is 17 months, 11 days. Considering the odds against it, I think you are blessed to have such detailed information pertaining to your conception. It must have come to you for a good reason. Use it well! ;D

Hi Aphrodite,
That's amazing! I hadn't heard of such long pregnancies.
What helped us estimate the time was that I was born a day or two after her due date. I'm not convinced that the Moon Ascendant technique is valid so that's why I said I probably have it within a couple days.
Thanks for responding,
Kelly

Aphrodite you must be special to be so well cooked I would love to know what makes that happen I think knowing conception is going to be hard for most I am lucky cos my dad took me on one side one day in his last years and said I was conceived at 8pm on 31st October 1944 when he was on leave from the army so I am proud of being conceived on Halloween- very cosmic!!! But of course the sperm may not have reached the egg til some time later so.....................

Overcooked! LOL! Speaking of food... I screamed, cried and crawled all over the place for my first 10 days because I couldn't keep milk down (air bubble or something). So Mom put me on thick pablum (cereal) at 10 days old. I happily pigged out on solid food thereafter. I weighed 30 lbs on my first birthday (oink!) and still weighed 30 lbs when I started kindergarden. I have a hard time believing the story, but Mom maintains that I was crawling (even climbing over pillows!) as soon as we got home from the hospital. She also claims that Dad had to help with the first feeding because I kept trying to grab the spoon and push/pull the bowl.
Hey, you brought up an interesting point. It can be several days before the sperm fertilizes the egg. Considering that fact, no one can truly know the exact time of conception. It is still nice to be able to look at the big picture, even if you can't be sure of the details (moon, ascendant...). The fact that your Dad remembers the exact time that you were conceived is so precious. What a wonderful thing is was for him to share this with you. You should definitely take a look at transits/progressions for such an eventful time.
