While doing some research to gain insight on today's new moon in Libra, which is exactly conjunct my Ascendant, I came across the expression "New Moon Rising" so many places. Very expressive, but I didn't come across a good explanation of this transit.
Anybody have any personal experiences or interpretations that might prove insightful? :-)

Hello Samina! Good to see you Technically, every New moon is rising. The Sun/Moon conjunction by nature means they would rise together. The sun rise as a symbol of renewal is strong and full of Aries energy! New Moons are very Aries, no matter what sign they are in. It's the nature of the conjunction. Think of Artemis, Moon Goddess, hunting with her brother Apollo, the light of the sun. It's a powerful conjunction but occurs only once a year near our Ascendants, though once a month through the signs. I would do an increment return for the position, if it falls into one. Where is your Moon again? I love this feeling of new potential with this transit! xx Kim

Hi Kim! <Waving> My moon is at 24 Scorpio. What is an increment return? Is it calculable at astro.com, or something I must do manually? Thanks for your reply...and yes, there sure is a lot of "new potential" energy abounding right now!
