Transiting Saturn at 4 Leo (Rx) is currently conjunct my natal Asc. (3 Leo) and I've been experiencing a myriad of minor health annoyances as of late...it's worth mentioning that my natal 6th house (unoccupied) is ruled by Capricorn (3 Cap) and the issues I'm dealing with are all very Saturnine...for starters, my teeth have been demanding my attention since the beginning of the year...I attribute much of the discomfort I've been feeling (from time to time) to my wisdom teeth, which are in the process of coming in (very fitting!)...also, my skin has been really dry, leaving me itchy and irritated...as a result, I've been feeling rather depressed and hyper aware of my body to the point of hypochondria...this is all very new for me since I'm usually quite cerebral (living in my head) and have been blessed with a mostly robust constitution that rarely demands much of my attention (until now)... When Saturn first crossed my ASC back in the Summer, I bought a new car and was given a slight pay raise...after a psychologically/emotionally trying two year period of Saturn in the 12th, I was beginning to sense that things were on the upswing...an altogether positive and liberating initial transit... ...but with this second hit, I'm feeling much more bogged down and sluggish...as if the Earth is forcing me to contend with the weight of gravity and all things physical (actual growing pains) and material (financial uncertainty, which is causing a great deal of anxiety: natal Saturn in Virgo in the 2nd house)... I'm wondering if these issues are textbook trans. Saturn on the ASC (par for the course) or are they more or less manifestations of Saturn Rx?! At any rate, April 5th (Saturn direct) won't come soon enough!!! I would love to hear some of your stories of Saturn crossing this pivotal angle...what was happening in your life when you experienced this transit?! For the record, I'm not anti-Saturn in the least, but it feels as if there's a bit of a cold war being waged on my body at the moment and I'm assuming this particular Saturn transit is to blame... Please tell me it's not all blood and guts and that some truly positive events can unfold with Saturn moving through the 1st... I absolutely hate feeling this bleak and pessimistic...afterall, I have a Jupiter-Mercury conjunction (in Leo) in my 1st and I've always considered my glass to be half full! I could definitely use a does of positive reinforcement at the moment! (No pressure!) Looking forward to reading your stories...good, bad, or neutral!!! ;D

Hi Luna, Your post prompted me to do a quick study of when I fell down in 1998. Trans. Sat. 11th was sq. natal Cap. in 8th. The injury was inside lower lumbar vertebre, to the discs. It would be several more years until I was done with that whole thing and able to get back to work, but when my case settled in 2003, truly putting the finishing touch on the episode, Saturn had gone direct on my Asc. that very month! And Ur. was close to the MC. Good thing you don't have too much longer to wait! And your wisdom teeth coming in does seems very fitting. I was going to be a smart aleck and tell you to try moisturizer for your dry skin... ;D But you brought up some things I never considered before. And according to experience, they are very valid. Something I never noticed before too, was that when I fell down, I was having a Ur opposition and the Sun and Mars were in opp. on all four angles!....Ouch... Anyway, maybe some others can add their stories as well! Jade Jade, I just love your posts!!! You definitely managed to bring a smile to face and the fact that you were able to weather and overcome a series of difficult transits, culminating with Saturn crossing your ASC, provides me with some hope and a hearty dose of a perspective!...you mentioned "settlement", hopefully that means that there was some sort of financial compensation in the end to somehow make up for any of the suffering you experienced...I've heard that when Saturn transits out of a house, it usually leaves some sort of long lasting "gift" behind for having survived the tumult...that would seem to be the case for you?! At any rate, I've been pickling myself in moisturizers lately and it does seem to help! I'm certainly looking forward to Saturn leaving my ASC! Thanks again for responding...you're the best! Looking forward to more stories, lunariviera

Hej everyone!
I too upon Saturn crossing the ASC have had a touch of dry skin, on the hands (my natal ASC IS Gemini after all!) It was a dry skin, no moisturizer seemed to cure.. but it eventually cleared up, (I guess after Saturn finish its transit of my first house) With the transit came one thing that I will always remember, the loss of my tooth cap. I was told it wasn't going to last as long as I had it, even more so, the reason it was not supposed to last was because it was a very special tooth, A baby tooth which had no adult tooth under it to take its place! (a strange genetic oddity) So when I lost that cap, after always having been so careful with my dental hygine, I decided that it was time for the whole tooth to go, since it was out of sight.. I was considering getting an implant, but I've held off on it since then because I've got a real fear of drills, drilling into my bone.. especially the bone which makes up my jaw. In the end though I know, if I don't take care of it in a few years, with time the blessing of really naturally straight teeth I have will no longer hold true, time and a lack of tooth in a space will shift the teeth, making me crooked in form, which will last for the rest of my life if I don't do SOMETHING.
With a transit of Saturn, it usually means we must work on the things we neglict, and if there IS anything neglected, it will come back to haunt.
I confess one brilliant thing about the Saturn transit, I had a wonderful amount of weight loss, in a good way, my training at the time was also very benifical to my structure, my bones and my dicipline as well as the energy of just everyday living, although it really did seem hard to get up in those cold mornings in those days.
With Saturn transiting the second house, (so far for me its moving back and forward) it seems a bit hard to say that I've been on a tight budget, although honestly I have been, at the same time, Saturn in the second house transit can mean solidifying resouces, so if you have more "intellectual resources" you possibly can turn those into something more "matterial", especially with your natal second house being Virgo (ruled by Mercury).
Aside from that, be well and take it easy! Maybe you are more confused because of the transit of Neptune in the 7th house? I FELT that was a more "difficult" transit for me, in my own life experience... but for someone else it may not be.
be well everyone,
Svenskasfinx

I FELT that was a more "difficult" transit for me, in my own life experience... but for someone else it may not be. be well everyone, Svenskasfinx Svenskasfinx, Thanks so much for your reply!!!...I related to much of it...especially about loosing the cap on your tooth...about a month ago, a crown inexplicably fell off my tooth...thankfully, it just needed to be recemented...but it goes back to what you were saying about Saturn forcing you to face up to that which you neglect (my finances fall into that category as well)...for me, it's definitely been my health...dental hygeine is really important to me, but I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year (until just a couple of months ago)...I don't have dental insurance so I've been paranoid about finding out about any dental health issues that might need attending to...something that would require me to fork over a large sum of money...denial is not a river in Egypt! I too have lost a bit of weight with this transit and it's not from any diet and/or exercise regime...people keep telling me I look great, but the irony is, I haven't been feeling so great....go figure?! It's interesting that you mention Neptune trans. my 7th...I hadn't considered that a factor, but it has been opposing my first house planets (Merc.-Jupiter) for quite awhile now...with my natal Venus in the 12th, I feel as though trans. Neptune in the 7th has just heightened my "relationship" issues and I would also say that it's been pretty disillusioning and difficult at times...also, Chiron is currently in the early stages of my 7th opposing my ASC (for what it's worth)...hopefully, healing is at hand! Thank you so much for your well wishes and sharing your experiences...I'm already starting to notice a slight pattern!!! Keep the stories coming all (if you're so inclined to share!)...
