Oh man, right now, the 25th looks like a LONG time away! Well, the good news is that my guy & I are really communicating about some tough, painful subjects. The flip side is that we both feel completely frustrated because there always seems to be a barrier everytime we try to spend some time together (we live 1,700 miles apart). I have the distinct feeling that even if my plans to visit on the 17th somehow come together, something's going to happen to thwart it. Gee, when Merc finally goes direct and moves into Aries, it gets to conjunct my natal Mars. Guess that means I'll be able to forcefully VENT all those frustrations...LOL I'm trying to keep my sense of humor about this whole situation but right now I want to scream "how can I fix it? ?"

Very interesting forum Also don't forget that through Merc Rx, alot of times not only do things disintegrate, but sometimes they resurface. Usually from the past. I've had old boyfriend's call alot during Merc Rx. And finishing up projects. I have a slightly different situation this month around...there is someone who I have liked for the past few months (not to mention a friend of mine who knows him and has been suggesting him for years now...suddenly something took in me saying not to dismiss it this time), and am meeting for the first time March 22nd. My astro knowledge says to just be cautious and don't jump too fast, but at the same time I know I have been working on this in the ethers since last July so it's slightly also the past catching up finally!

Welcome Neon Aurora, Yes! It does feel like something from the past catching up. What house is Mercury Retrograding in your natal chart? Any transit aspects? Kim

Thankyou all for the warm welcome! It is also nice on my end to have others to speak with about such diverse Astro matter Kim, I cannot believe I didn't take a look at transiting Mercury's position in my chart. It's a whopper. Keep in mind, that not only does Mercury rule my chart, it rules my Sun, Mercury and Mars too It's challenging enough having T. Uranus on my DC right now...(which by the 22nd, T. Merc. will be conjuncting T. Uranus by less then 2* on my Pisces DC - did I mention he is a musician?) Anyway the day of the eclipse, T. Merc. Rx will be remaining in my 7th house, just going back a bit, and it opposes my N. Mercury/1st and my N. Moon/4th and quincunxes N. Uranus/2nd. Those are the exact hits my natal planets get that day. As well, the day we meet, T. Mars will conjunct my Saturn/10th and T. Saturn will conjunct my Venus/11th. Similarly, he has T. Saturn conjunct N. Mars right now, which I thought is interesting. As much as I'm not usually overly fond of Saturn, I think this may last a bit, even if it isn't forever, but as they say, only time will tell! Great site! Kudos to you for all your hard work Kim. Hi Jade, I'm the Pisces. He's a Libra. We both have Scorpio Ascendants....pretty intense. Well, Merc Rx is at play again. After everything he said, TODAY he now tells me that he's got cold feet about the whole thing and that he's not ready. AARRGGHH!!!!!! Sorry to hear that you're having a hard day, too. I can sympathize with you, that's for sure! Want me to pass the Kleenex? Welcome to the boards, Neon Aurora

This passage of Mercury Rx seems to be working intensely in the relationship department for many of us! (it's Rx in my 7th too, NA, and I laid in bed last night and went through EVERY intimate relationship I'd ever had, starting with the boy I used to kiss on the bus on the way home from kindergarten!...he was a Libra, I recall. Sigh....Anyway, that took hours, but I feel lighter now. The hardest part was to get past judgement --self-judgement--as there were no happy endings and a lot of trauma).
SopranoKris! Ugh! His cold feet? The best thing you can do with that is to ask, "What does this have to do with me?" I know they are his feet, his hesitation, but where does that reflect something you are hesitant about as well? If you can find it in yourself, it will be much easier to accept!
Yes, Mercury is retro until the 25-26th spending DAYS at 13 Pisces. He doesn't really pick speed until 6-7th of April.
If we all keep reflecting on the area of life highlighted by the transit, we will gain maximum growth and insight from this trickster god!
Blessings, Kim

mercury's been retrograding through my 6th, squaring saturn (rx gemini/9th), trining sun (scorpio/2nd), and soon to be squaring moon-mercury-neptune (sagittarius/2nd-3rd).
the 6th house stuff recently has been these extremely loud and clear messages about what my body wants for fuel. i've been changing my diet slowly over the last few years, and in october all but became a vegetarian. now it's giving me unhappy & immediate feedback if i don't eat a lot of raw stuff - it wants the living stuff. it's tired of feeling sluggish. and i'm tired of not being clear-headed and -hearted.
i've also been seeing relationship stuff come up. important debriefings with a recent ex, and meeting someone new at a family constellation session, someone entirely & intoxicatingly piscean... a lot of it has to do with me learning how not to be as attached i as can tend to be - but the info i'm getting is about why i expect what i expect - life-script stuff, basically. i think that's the squares to moon & saturn, which i seem thoughtlessly to involve in a "be happy - no, don't be happy" loop (moon opposes saturn).
and over the last few months my desire to communicate as much as i have, which has been a lot most of my life, has waned. i'm learning how to experience life as more than a brain/ears/mouth/typing fingers apparatus. so this rx in pisces is great for supporting that feeling - i just want to be...i don't care where my keys are, or whose call didn't get through...or any those things that can get hairy during the rx.

Mercury Rx in Pisces has been straddling my 8th/9th house cusp, but will be spending most of its run in the 8th...not surprisingly, just as I thought I got a handle on my credit card debt, something unexpected arose that has rocked me out of my false sense of mastery and secrutiy in that department...needless to say, it's occupied my thoughts and it's disturbed my sleep...now I have to go back and dig myself out of the hole, yet again...
Not exciting or spiritually profound, but it's one of those "duh" experiences that "feels" very Mercury Rx in the 8th (in Pisces)...
