Whats the general opinion on aspects in horary, do people use all, including so called lesser ones?
I recently had a look at a chart where the Moon appeared void of course, and some would say it was - in traditional terms, but it was applying to a Quincunx with the ruler of asc. which itself was also applying to Semi-sextile with the ruler of desc. and this seemed relevent to me.
Any thoughts? Many thanks, Jo

Any thoughts? Many thanks, Jo Hej! I wanted to point out, as I have a chart with its last aspect with the Moon being Quincux fresh in my mind that Anthony Louis mentioned in the book "Horary Astrology- the history and practice of Astro-divination" that he considered the Quincux (also known as "inconjunct") as a very powerful aspect that clearly stated "a need for adjustment" between what ever the two planets represented.. As far as Semi Sextiles go, Kim mentioned earlier that if the rest of the chart didn't support the information of the Semi-sextile, then it wasn't a very strong aspect to read much into (I hope I'm not misquoting) However depending upon the question Semi-sextile can mean different things, for example in a financial chart it is said that a semi-sextile aspect was to be read as an opportunity however when it comes to a question about someone's health or well being that the semi-sextile was actually considered a sign of poor health. What ever the case the rest of the chart should show more of the same "themes" instead of just one aspect.. but from what you say, the themes are very strong being that the ruler of the ASC is in a configuration with any of these aspects. Perhaps its about you needing to adjust to something? Hope this has been helpful! take care, Svenskasfinx

In any chart that I have accurately read, that "comes to pass," the quincunx is very valid.
Semi-sextiles seem to have less weight, unless, as Sven and Kim pointed out, they are confirming something else in the chart. I think two significators semi-sextile don't amount to much, UNLESS there is reception betwen the two significators. Blessings, Amoroso
