Where are the stolen goods?

Last night, much of my son's electrical equipment was stolen from our van, which was parked in our driveway. This included several amplifiers, four instruments--including a Les Paul guitar, and numerous cables.

We discovered it this morning when I went to drive him to his college orientation. I bawled like a baby, having dropped him off--first of all--the whole college thing and then he and I were in the middle of making a police report, etc.

He worked hard to pay for most of this stuff himself and he gigging alot this summer, earning money for college. (playing for political fundraisers, parties, etc.)

The question is "Where is his equipment, who stole it and will he get it back?"

I am having a terrible time getting my stuff out of photo bucket and up on this forum. I am SO sorry, can someone put this up for me--

Dear Jade,

Thanks for posting that (do you ahve a moment to send me a message and let me know how you posted the image? I think when I am saving the image to photobucket, it is saving as a file that is wrong.

ANYWAY. I am too upset to look at this, because it seems to confirm what I think--that the people who did this are in the neighborhood.

I took my fifth house ruler for my son (Jupiter) and his second house of movable goods. That is fitting (Aquarius) because it was electrical equipment and electric instruments. Uranus is in HIS third house of neighbors.

Will come back to this when I have more time. Thanks ahead for any help.

Hey Amoroso.....so sorry to read of this incident.

As usual, my horary knowledge is nil.....but my internal 'antennae' is always up and working!

Yes, I sense it is someone in your neighborhood...and someone younger (than an older adult).

Obviously, it is someone who would KNOW that this equipment is kept in your van/SUV. Most likely high school kids...bored and not working (as they feel the need to steal). A kid who works will not usually steal. Certainly I would alert all of your neighbors, even if you do not personally know them well. Especially the houses with this age group of kids. Probably someone ON your street or someone your son knows. This is a shame.

Obviously, alert the pawn shops for this equipment if it should show up.

Be patient and keep your cool. Your house insurance or auto insurance may cover part of the items....but the stress of someone violating your son's property is difficult! Hang in there and maintain your cool....your son is learning from watching your actions.

GOOD LUCK!!!!! Hopefully some clues will turn up soon! Fingerprints....something.

Never tried a stolen goods horary before, but I'll give it a try.
It's too late for you to ask the question. You are the querent and you are 29.50 deg Leo. That very late AC could be a sign the stuff will not be returned: too late.
Also, I'm intrigued by that Mars so close to you, in your house of hidden knowledge, secrets. Your twelfth is your sons eighth, which I would take literally here as the house of loss.

Your son is ruler 5, Jupiter in 3, his 11th. Is he with friends a lot??
The goods are represented by ruler 6th, his 2nd. The goods are represented by Saturn in 12, his 8th.

The thief is ruler of Hís DC, the 11th in the chart: Mercury in his seventh. Actually, I see something strange here: Mercury is returning, and mutually applying to a conjunction with you, the Sun! Mercury is YOUR ruler of lost goods, was there something with the goods that belongs to you?

I see an applying square between Jupiter and Saturn, which might mean the stuff is really lost to your son. His co-ruler Moon will not make any aspects to Saturn, the stolen goods.
Last aspect of the Moon will be a sextile to Venus on his DC.
Is there any insurance??

About that Mars so close to you... Mars is ruler of your ninth, your son's fifth: music. For you: someone from overseas.

I think I can read charts at the 29th degree becasue my ASC is 29 Libra. Is that accurate?

Yes, Gemstar, if it is who I think it is, it is an 8th grade kid on our cul-de-sac who has fallen in with a tough crowd, plus, his uncle has run into trouble with the law before and is a loose canon. This kids would have seen Adam loading stuff into and out of the car many times.

I went over there and talked with a few of the extended family and looked in their garage.

The stolen goods, signified by Uranus, are in an angular house--"close to you," which fits in with what Gemstar and I think--a neighbor did it.

The equipment was co-owned by him and the members of his band--there's that 11th House association. I haven't noticed anything of mine missing, but they did break into our van.

Yes, there is some insurance! Good call. We have a deductible, but there will be something.

And the overseas thing is amazing, Juliet, because these neighbors are from overseas. They are from the same country in Africa where John grew up and went to boarding school, so we had alot of back and forth over the years. It is a real shame.

I think the Saturn to Neptune opposition shows that we are deceiving ourselves to think the goods (hidden in the 12th) will be repossessed.

I spoke with my 13 year old daughter this morning who is at camp. Her reaction was "Well, DUH, he keeps his stuff in the van, what did he expect?"

I'm so sorry to hear about this...it must feel like such a violation!

According to Ivy, 'The stolen goods will be returned if the sun and moon are both above the horizon and in aspect to each other.' Here we have, when we put the 5th house of your son on the Asc, the Sun and Moon below the horizon...

I will confirm that when the querent’s Ascendant degree is matched by the horary Ascendant degree, we can read further than 'too soon or too late'...still, that 29th degree does say 'you are at the end of your rope' with this! It's very traumatic!

I've just checked for all the indications of 'the stolen goods will be returned'...

Venus or the ruler of the 2nd in the 1st house, or Jupiter direct and in the 2nd; or the ruler of the 2nd in the 1st, 11th or 4th; or the rulers of the 1st and 2nd conjunct or in mutual reception; or the depositor of the Part of Fortune in the 1st or 2nd, or the ruler of the 1st strong by sign and elevated over the ruler of the 2nd--especially if the ruler of the 7th is weak by sign or afflicted or combust etc, ....

Any combination of these and, according to Ivy, you can safely say that the goods will be regained. Unfortunately (please double check this) I don't see any of these indicators...

The Moon is not happy in Aries but there is a 'dignity' reception with the Sun, which makes it less afflicted.

The only thing that hints a beneficial outcome is that Jupiter is in your son's 12th which is Venus ruled (depositor of the POF)..."an institution makes things right"....

This could be insurance, or perhaps the thief will be caught and although the actual goods may not come back (too late?) there will be compensation.

When I take Uranus as the ruler of stolen goods, as you all do, which seems more appropriate since it was electrical equipment, I get an mutual applying trine from your sons ruler Jupiter to Uranus in his 3rd (HIS neighbourhood). Uranus and Jupiter are both slow, Jupiter even stationary still ()
About that last sextile to Venus from Moon... Venus is ruler of your sons sixth, your tenth, and also of your third, that neighbourhood again.
The POF is on the cusp of 10/6 and as Kim mentioned, is ruled by Venus. This could me important. He might be encounter the stuff in his work.

I hope your attempts at talking to the family will result in your son getting back what belongs to him.

I am shocked to hear about the incident.

A quick glance at the chart makes me feel that the intention of who ever taken to goods is not to steal but to enjoy the gut feeling of your family. The thief (only suggestive) did it in a fit of rage and is at a loss (saturn in 12th); Fourth lord Mars approaching him (in 12th again) suggests it is handy work of well known person. The 12th being fixed and in the initial degrees and saturn in fire sign, it is not easy for the guilty to have a normal go with life.

You have to create a BIG SCENE over the incident. The guilty is vulnerable and will replace the goods. The goods will come back as seen by Kim with both Moon and Sun above horizon. I stick to it since 11th lord (profit) Mer conjunct Sun in 11th house.

I am not giving my full analysis due to short of time.

I am struck by the Saturn in 12th and I mentioned the word "remorse" to you in the PM. The guilt/remorse/solitariness sometimes associated with Saturn in the 12th and the repression of mars in the 12th.... Has there been any reaction by the boy yet?

Kris, where on earth do you come up with these things?! As it turns out, the boy that I think did this used to be in our home alot, and, in fact, used to love cooking with my husband. This was about 4 or 5 years ago. He wanted to be a chef and John taught him about the herbs in the garden and taught him how to pick them and use them in cooking. Then, the boy's father had to go back to Cameroon to take over his tribe (his father was chief) and has not been back in the States in three years. So the boy has been without his father even though there's all sorts of extended family in the house, but no one pays attention to him and several of the uncles have been arrested for drugs. It was my instinct that he went after our son's things because he is jealous and angry.

Yes, BO, perhaps Saturn in the 12th IS remorse.

I am going to speak with the mother and will let you know of the outcome.

The stolen goods have not been recovered, but Kim wrote

and the insurance company did send a settlement. But you would not believe what I had to do to get it! (A long, boring story involving 7 phone calls....)

It's VERY instructional to compare how things turn out with the Horary chart.

You had to put the work in and in hind sight we see Jupiter is the ruler of the 4th from the 5th (mom) and square Saturn--hard work and obstacles to gain any results.
