I not posting this horary until I try to work through it myself --plus I see there are a number of other pressing ones ahead of me.
My question is this:
I asked: How did he feel about our meeting today?
Now in analyzing the chart, do I make him the Ascendant? or is he still house 7 and I am house one? If he is house 1 then what house would our meeting be (it was medical appointment with personal stuff interspersed...)?? What's my first steps?
Thanks

You are the Asc., he is house 7, and you turn the chart. Which house signifies meetings? You count then from his first house (which is your 7th) onward to the house of meeting. Caution: You might get dizzy from turning the chart.
But first, take deep breath.
Love, Whiteheather

Thanks whiteheather. Man I feel like a mush brain but I didn't understand. Is there a House for meetings? If so what is it or do I just do six because he is a doctor and when you say turn the chart, what do you mean? What house does he become?

Oops, sorry. It just means that you start looking at the chart from the seventh house point of departure. The 7th is his first, the 8th his second, and so forth. So if you want to know what he feels about the meeting, I think you probably have to start counting from the seventh onward, making that the 1st (his first) house until you get to the house that signifies the meeting.
I just looked quickly through the Anthony Louis book to see what it says about houses. Maybe you SHOULD look at the 6th. I was thinking of the third, and it does rule "local meetings," but I think that has more to do with community activities and such.
Here is what it says about the 6th (well, what is relevant here, anyway):
"The 6th also rules therapeutic activity and healing measures including medications and medical regimens. In matters of health, the general well-being of the organism is ruled by the 1st, the sickness or illness by the 6th, any surgery by the 8th, and the hospital by the 12th."
I think you are probably right, you have to look at it not as a general meeting, but more specifically health related. In this case, the house to look at is his 6th, which is your 12th. Do you feel the chart makes sense if you look at it that way? Take what I say with a grain of salt, naturally. Hopefully some of the experts will see this and chime in.
Can't wait to see the chart...

Blueorchids - I changed my mind. It may be better to look at his 7th (your 1st house). Ultimately, you want to know how he feels about you now, and the "now" is related to the meeting yesterday. Unless the doctor/patient relationship is so strongly emphasized that maybe it is always a 6th house matter.
Oh, I do wish someone more knowlegeable would weigh in here.... I can imagine how anxious you must feel.
Strength. W

Dear BO,
I agree wtih WH last statement because your question ultimately has to do with "how is he feeling about us, about me," not "how is he feeling clinically about our health meeting." I would look to the 7th also, and the Sun and Venus as secondary indicators of a man and woman in a relationship question.
How did it go? Amoroso

Thank you Whiteheather and Amoroso. And thanks for asking how it went. It was unbelievable. I have a major artisan event on Thursday, had not slept most of the weekend because of working. By Sunday I was actually contemplating calling his assistant and begging off the appointment. I was so desperately under the gun and pulling back fast. But then I got serious and reminded myself that this was first and foremost health. :oAnyway I won't know any health conclusions until the procedure of shots and scans ends in June. This was really for blood drawing and flirting I guess. Anyway, it was totally etheral and serene. He came in smiling, then smiling more. And we spent all our time trading stories, catching up on our boys, laughing. We teased each other about birthdays (remember that whole gift thing! Mine is coming up..) The tone was completely sweet and unencumbered. We were entirely in sync. The whole time I was in there I kept thinking about Kim telling me to relax, to just be my true self.... Anyway I don't want to give everything away (the parting, the follow up letter, his followup letter which arrived after I wrote you guys my question! the "phantom book" etc......) It was sort of shockingly different --like movement--but in a deep pleasant place. But here is the chart. What's odd is that it appears that both of us are Venus if he goes to the 1st house.... Moon only has Pluto to go.... I have to run back to the Studio after I feed the children.. PS: Oh check this out. I just checked the exact time (event) chart from yestrday and guess what. His veretx and 4 angles matched up to within an orb of the time of our meeting.....Weird!

Good girl! I was going to post a gentle reminder... You do know, don't you, that we (or at least I) depend on you for our "romantic fix"....
He is still represented by Mars, though. What I notice is that both of your significators are in his 12th house, and in his fifth house, which they say is his "will" we have the POF and Lillith. No idea what this means, but they are in Virgo, with the house cusp of the 6th in Virgo, and that is traditionally the sign of healing. I don't see a translation or collection of light between Venus/Moon and Mars.
Soon others will post who are more proficient.
Be well. (Not everybody gets to flirt and have their blood taken at the same time... There ought to be comfort in knowing that.)

Hi Whiteheather! I am packing up for the big event tomorrow But i had to pop in and say thanks for that quick read up. YES!!! There is no translation or collection of light there, whatsoever. LOL. Considering how that was probably the loveliest of all my visits in 11 years, the chart seems interesting. In addition, he did this thing, and being someone who richocets between super sharp and then toally dreamy absented mind professor, I was sort of taken aback. I had once commented that I never drink alcohol because I never quite got the hang of it--I knows it sounds very 6 year old, but I could not get past that sharp vinegary rubbing alcohol taste of booze, all booze. At any rate I told him my personality was ridiculously over the top anyway, and alcohol would probably just exacerbate it...blah blah and went on to say something like" Besides there are things that make me totally weak in the knees...like brainy men in dark rich blue a la White House Press Corp shirts and blood red ties.... This was a while back, and rest assured this gentleman is not a very good or careful dresser and I know for a fact I have only seen two kinds of shirts on him in a decade, off white and this plaid green thing. So Monday he walks in the room with this rich dark blue shirt on and a blood red tie.... Oh the nuance of tortured unrequited love.... Anyway I have to go. On the horary, I think that 6th house healing thing is all on target. I think the fact that everywhere I am in relation to him...I have moved ahead, the aspects are separating. This is interesting as I have been moving from him as the business gets crazy and we need the cash (hahha). The Moon and Venus all trine to Jupiter and Mars but both are in the 20s so techinically past him. Even the Sun is only at 4. If he is allowed to be Venus, that part might explain why it seemed so in sync in therewith me also as Venus and the conjunction to the moon . I am intrigued WH by that POF and lilith and like you am not sure what that is about. The Moon ending at Pluto also raises my eyebrows. Monday night he sent me an email saying that he wanted me to know that he still really wants to do the book. I was happy. This was interesting as I had sort of shelved it ... The first blood tests come back today. He always calls me directly about those so undoubtedly it will be businesslike...

BO,
Also note the Sun, the secondary significator of DOC, is in your significator's house. In the very first Horary I had done by a "professional," while I bristled at his judgemental tone, showed the same configuaration for C and me, which the astrologer interpreted as "he is physcially attracted to you, with his seccondary significator in your sign of Taurus.
Here's to nacy suits and read ties!

Hey Amoroso, I always get confused by that.... If he is in my sign.. that means he is attracted as opposed to me being attracted?
Note that tight connection between Sun and Saturn...that reflects to me the book discussion/the serious talk about test results... He and I as Sun and Moon end our movements at Pluto..He with a trine, me with that square.
Pallas tight on the IC and Vesta tight on the MC...and that fat water trine! Lots of intensity, warriors onward and upward...LOL....
