hello all, i sent a horary question earlier today to an astro pen pal who read my question and cast a chart for me. the question was "Will I ever get married and if so, what year will I marry?". i am not sure there's a positive answer to this question in the chart, but here is what i see: im the moon in pisces in the 9th, just passed a conjunction with uranus -- the big breakup i had last year indicated here? in the 9th, this would be the 3rd house of the partner, this kind of fits because what occured was that someone i was involved with abruptly stopped communicating with me. marriage is saturn in the 1st...saturn is stationary about to turn direct...what the heck might this mean? that marriage is possible, due to saturn's presence in my house, but not likely due to saturn's stationary position? i. e., not moving anywhere. there's no aspect between the moon & saturn so that alone is negative, but the 7th house has 2 almutens: mars and saturn, so mars can be a significator for the marriage in this chart. the moon applies to conjoin mercury in the 9th, and mercury rules the 3rd, so perhaps communication issues will arise soon, not sure about that. then moon trines jupiter in 5th which rules 6th & 9th. so something good happens in the happiness dept soon? and finally, moon squares mars in the 12th, a significator for the marriage. this chart is kind of confusing, anyone have any thoughts? is it a total no, you think? thanks all!

oop, i did find this in anthony louis' glossary on horary:
STATION: A planet makes a station when it appears motionless before reversing direction in its orbit as viewed from the Earth. Thus a planet can make a station (appear to stop and then move in the opposite direction) when going from retrograde to direct, or from direct to retrograde. Stationary planets are considered quite influential. When turning retrograde, they symbolize a reversal or delay. When turning direct, they indicate a renewal or revitalization. The Sun and Moon are never stationary and never retrograde.
so i guess saturn stationary about to turn direct is good; saturn being in my house is also a positive (i believe it's bonatti who said..."There is also another mode such that a matter which someone intends to have may be perfected; and it is easier than all of the aforesaid modes, to wit...the significator of the matter is in the Ascendant, or in the house which signifies that person for whom the matter is desired").
however, there is still the matter of no aspectual relationship between the main sigs, moon (me) and saturn (marriage).
though there is an aspect relationship between the moon (me) and mars (also marriage, almuten of 7th house) by square.
anyone have thoughts other than what i noticed?
thanks!

Chrissy,
I don't have alot of time these days to really contribute to the forum, but I just wanted to say that both Saturn and Mars indicate that you will get married, (whatever that means to you!) but it will take Time and there will be some delays and perhaps frustrations along the way. And we certainly know THAT has been the case.
From what I remember when I was reading about Horary, some of the things you pointed out in your analysis can over ride the lack of direct aspects between significators. I think that Saturn in the first, as ruler of the 7th is important in a positive way.
Hope this helps. Amoroso
