Hi Forum,
When planning a wedding location, does one relocate the birth charts? I'm wondering if having Venus and/or Jupiter well aspected in the relocated birth charts would matter or if just having a great wedding chart would do the trick.

Hi Forum,
R.J. from Noel Tyl's site answered my question so in the words of Emily Litella, "Nevermind."

Kelly,
Sorry we didn't get to your question! It was not for lack of interest, but lack of time to think things through and respond.
What was the answer you received?
Blessings, Amoroso

Hi Amorosa,
I allowed little time to answer. I'm grateful for the responses I've gotten from you, Kim and Prima. The Tyl thread was about the time it takes for a relocation chart to "take effect." R.J. seems bright so I think he or she may right about the approximate time it takes to "settle in" to a new location- a year. He or she responded to someone else's question that didn't mention a wedding. Relocation charts for a wedding may be different from relocation charts for a residence change. I'm wondering about this because I'll likely have my wedding in a location that won't be my residence.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hi kellyc,
Congratulations on the wedding plans! o:
I'd be interested in looking at the town or city's chart (location of wedding) and how that sits with both your natals, and the composite. It is your relationship to this area that will set the flavour for the day . . . and the event chart that will also say something about the 'purpose of the ritual itself, or the nature of it.
The relocation charts to the location (that you describe above) may comment on your experience of that day also, to some degree, but not on the experience of your marriage. If relocation Venus is on the MC, you might feel particularly beautiful in the eyes of the public. If Saturn relocates there, you may feel very 'grown up' and responsible (able to respond) and want to have things quite organized. If Neptune relocates there, the day might seem like a dream!
But these feelings triggered by relocation are not going to 'carry through' your married life (unless that becomes your permanent residence). Do you see what I mean?
For the actually experience of being married, the nature and purpose of the relationship, I would look to the composite chart, and individual transits and progressions in the synastrys...which will ebb and flow and change throughout your married life.
I hope this helps.
Warm wishes, Kim

Hi Kim,
Your response makes perfect sense. However, I don't have my future wife's chart because we haven't met yet. But three psychics have described the same cute brunette I'll meet. I'm just getting a head start on the wedding planning in my spare time. It's best we didn't meet earlier.
Thanks for all your expertise,
Kelly
