To those of you who have been horary-ing for awhile <g>, how do you interpret the movement of the moon in the chart? Do you look at the next planet the moon will contact in the chart, and if so, how do you interpret that?
This is probably a complex question, but I'm wondering what hands-on experience you guys have with this.
Thanks! samina

Hi Samina
The Moon in horary is VERY significant. She is the fastest moving planet, co-rules the querent or quesited, and counts for much of the 'action' that will take place.
That is why a void of course moon, or one that makes no applying aspects, means 'nothing will happen, or, there is nothing to worry about.'
The aspects of the Moon are considered in order, as she approaches them and can be interpreted by the nature of the aspect, (opposition, trine etc) and by the combination of the planet she connects with (Mars, Jupiter?) Her only previous aspect that is considered is the planet she last passed over by CONJUNCTION, no matter how many signs back.
We can run through these aspects to the moon by examples. Do you have a chart to post?
Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim, Here's the chart, the same one I posted in the Saturn thread... what do you think the placement of the moon in the chart signifies?

Oh okay, I'm on the same page now.
The first thing to do is list out all the Moon's APPLYING aspects (major) ie conjunction, oppositions, square, trine and sextile.
Then get a feel for 'what action' that aspect and combination of planets might indicate or reflect. Think of what house (person or situation) the planets she aspects represent! Are they ‘happy’ in the sign they are in? What are they doing?
Have a go at it, and everyone can contribute/comment!
Kim
