Yes! Who has personal planets or points here?
Midpoints?
The moon could be a trigger to the long-term t-square.
Comments?

Hi Jade, Thanks for pointing out this grand cross ... 15 degrees of a fixed sign is the avatar point, too, so on one day we not only have the cross, but avatar reception at 15 Taurus, Leo and Scorpio ... my natal vertex is at 15 Leo, so I will keep my antenna up for cosmic energies! Also so interesting to know about the "archetypal counterpoint" to the Aries point ... that made me think to look at my Draconic chart, as it's based on 0 Aries NN ... My MC and eros/psyche midpoint are both at 16 Leo and will be squaring off against Pandora and Artemis, both at 15 Taurus in the 7th house ... Wondering how this will manifest, especially because it's all "covert" in the Draco ... Hmmmm ... Jamma

Thanks for mentioning the Grand Cross coming this weekend. I am curious about it as it sits nearly exact on all FOUR POINTS! How exact should this be? Not to mention on a FULL MOON no less!!
ASC-Scorpio 15' 56 IC- Aquarius 19' 56 DSC-Taurus 15' 56 MC- Leo 19' 56
Lately I have been feeling a bit out of touch...unsure of directions and believe it has to do with Neptune transiting conjunct my IC and squaring/opposing my other points. I feel very ungrounded.
Hmmm....does anyone have any ideas??

This grand cross is hitting all those points I mentioned in the Jupiter in Scorpio thread -- I highlighted them as hitting on the 14th & didn't realize the moon was going to enter into the mix on the 15th.
My left palm has been itching something fierce since yesterday, and it's very hot. No rash, no bumps, just hot itching energy. Friends noticed it today and told me it meant I was going to come into money -- how fun would that be! LOL It strikes me that its connected to all the Taurus/Scorpio, 2nd-8th house activation in my chart right now.
But whatever they signify, these transits are zeroing in on my natal 8th-house Jupiter in Taurus & my 2nd-house Neptune in Scorpio, as well as my 5th & 11th houses, and I really feel it!
I can just feel the power swelling... I can feel that this week is going to be a big one, a memorable one.
Jamma, can you say more about the "avatar point" you mentioned? Am curious, since that involves a key pole in my chart.

Jamma, yes, thanks for reminding us about the Draco chart as well. Always worth watching transits there....and consider this transit pattern in it's Draconic positions too! That would be on the 15th: Moon- 8 Leo Mars- 8 Taurus Jupiter - 8 Scorpio Neptune - 9 Aquarius Interesting! My Draconic Asc. is 14 Scorpio, my Draco Sun 16 Leo. My tropical Moon is 10 Aquarius...I'm tuning in! Kim

Hey Jade -- Your dad is from Iowa, too? Where? Maybe we're related! I saw you online yesterday, too, but then I got distracted by something and never came back to the computer (all too typical for me -- my computer's on but nobody's home!) ... xox, jam P.S. I love that expression: "a cloak of jewels in spirit" ... P.P.S. For Samina and anybody else interested in avatar points, I found Kim's post on it ... (I haven't done the research Kim suggested, but now I might go have a look): Yes, the Avatar Points are 15 degrees of the fixed signs and linked to 'entry points' of spiritual influence.
In horary, 15 degrees of a fixed sign indicates the 'significator will stay put' or is unlikely to change course.
I suspect the Avatar points are more significant when activated by a transit but I'm not very familiar with them.
Here is a link to critical degrees in astrology. www2.bitstream.net/~bunlion/bpi/CritDeg.html
Can anyone do some research to find out where the Avatar Points came from? When did they first appear in astrology and how were they used?
Good question! Kim

Just a short note-MY Dad is from Iowa as well!!!! Davenport actually! And yes, they (Iowans)can use some odd words...or ancient, whichever you choose to use! Egg pronounced 'AAg'...Milk pronounced 'malk'.... I am sure you all could add a few more! Thanks for pointing out the avatar points-I have not learned about them yet-only have heard of them! Kim is doing a tutorial for me on my Neptune within this placement-fixed cross (located on my IC). Please post anything you find on this-and I will do the same! Hugs- GemStar

Hey Gem and Jade (both jewels!) ... My dad was born on a farm in Messena, a tiny town northeast of Council Bluffs ... he was fond of saying things like, "Putcher shooz on Lucy, yer in the city now!" (I was born in California and always ran around barefoot) ... And when he said Saturday, it came out Sad'rdee (no wonder I have so much trouble with Saturn -- sins of the fathers!) ... I'm very interested in hearing about Neptune, ruler of my natal Pisces Sun, Moon & Merc (plus several asteroids) ... Neptune is at 10 Libra in my 9th ... but he's sure to be implicated ("implicated"? as in crime? ... yikes -- my imagination is working overtime) in the Grand Cross, which will occur near my MC/Neptune midpoint ... ... pause ... Just took a look at the January 15 chart ... the "15s" will line up at 7:30 p.m. California time ... and, as for Neptune being just a tad off at 16 Aquarius, the 15-degree avatar point hits on the midpoint between Nep and Eros! ... wonder if that portends falling in love with an illusion (or a Libra) ... ... Cheers, J

Hey Everyone...
Neptune. Well...I will share what I learn as I learn it from my tutorial with Kim! With natal Neptune conjunct my Scorpio ASC, in the first house, I am trying to figure out what more this Neptune transit will squeeze out of me!
My tr Neptune has just completed squaring my ASC....during this part year, I have really delved into learning more about astrology than ever before! One thing- I have also come to a higher understanding of my effect on people...how I can heal through my spoken words/communication (Nep transiting 3rd?) etc..
Three years ago, I left my corporate job due to down-sizing and chose to move on career-wise in a new direction. My hobby of renovating older high-end homes became my primary occupation! WIth transiting Pluto going through my 2nd house, the steady income I was used to has changed. I have no doubt that the amount of money will be fine again, it will just arrive in larger chunks at one time.
Neptune seems to be guiding me with my creativeness...my psychic intuitiveness have increased 10-fold! It has been quite amazing really. However, the fog that also comes with this transit makes it difficult to see far ahead and has made it difficult for me to feel confident with my planning the next move. Usually I feel pretty certain of my next goal or direction, but somehow lately...I am scattered with little energy. Kinda like spinning my wheels. Well-intentioned but not going anywhere!!
Because this Grand Cross is coming up, I almost feel that it is gluing me into this state of being 'fixed'. I am mostly mutable air and water so I am not so comfortable 'not moving'....the past few years have forced me to take a break from my usual push...and simply enjoy my quiet time with me! It is hard to give it to myself after many years of pushing and going at it hard.....highly successful and recognized. The process of working on my own, not being surrounded by lots of people, has been an odd one for this Gemini. I have learned to be more selective in my choosing of friends (I am fairly new to the town I live in) and more aware of my idealism with everyone I meet. Because I am on my own daily, the need for people around is great for me. So.....it has been an interesting time of balancing my need for people and careful selection. Paying attention to what energies people bring with them....and being OK if I need to pull away from those who are taking too much. This has been huge for me and I think partly due to me becoming more centered than ever before. I feel greatly at peace with myself ....and this is good, especially after a 2 year period of complete annihilation in my life....there had been no rest for me and now, the Universe has provided it for me!!
Hey-Should I start another thread about Neptune? I think we all could benefit from sharing Neptunian experiences...this creative planet can seem vague with it's lessons and I am not sure I am always learning what it is trying to teach me!! What I feel I already know and what more there is to know is hard for me to differentiate at times....Neptune on my ASC has always kept me in tune with it's energies I feel. There are always new things to learn with Neptune, although sometimes I simply do not always know where to look!! And then just when I think I have it figured out, I worry (Cancer Moon) that I have come to the wrong conclusion!!
Thus-because Neptune is so spiritual, and less tangible, the concreteness of this extraordinary planet can often be a challenge to grasp!
Does any of this make any sense to you?

Hey Gem -- thumbs up from me on starting a Neptune thread. I'd love to hear more discussion on the subject! There's a lot of Neptune energy going on for me as well right now... so far I've been flowing with and trusting in what it's bringing rather than pushing forward. I can't see through the fog, myself... am just feelin' my way, which so far has worked. In fact, I've had Neptune square my natal Neptune & Jupiter most of the year and I realized that I've been completely taken care of all year -- I just let it all carry me, and it did! I'm trusting that this juncture is no different. But it does take trust, doesn't it? Kudos to you and the changes you've made in your life! samina

Another vote for a Neptune thread -- maybe we could call it, "I got fog in me noggin' " ... Neptunians need all the help we can get when it comes to making sense of the cosmos, personal and transpersonal! ... Regarding the Grand Cross of January 2006: I meant to mention yesterday that I was looking at all the trines and sextiles that will be bouncing off the 15 degree planets ... lots of blue amongst the red! ... Also noticed Grand Trines between Lilith, Pluto and Lust (would love to talk to their party planner!) and Mars, Aphrodite and Ceres ... and, lest I forget, a whopper of a yod: Sappho sextile Saturn quincunx Uranus ... Jade, I had to laugh when I read: "Jamma, your moon is in Pisces too, along with Sun and Merc.? I didn't know" ... I could almost hear the unspoken, "Oh you poor dear!" ... more later ... J

Hi! My laptop took a major plunge into unknown depths and I am now typing on a new one...this will be my FOURTH since September.....jeez. Mars retrograde really was working hard in my area!! : )) Ok-A new thread on Neptune it is!! I was laughing as I read the above re-Jamma and her Pisces placements.....with my current Neptune causing such ridiculous fog for myself.....the thought had crossed my mind the other day and wondered if all Piscean types feel like this ALL THE TIME? OMG.....I would never feel grounded!! Pisces people are my loves and with my Scorp ASC and Neptune as well as Cancer Moon and Mercury, I 'get' them.....(also Saturn Pis--anarectic degree)....onward to a Neptune thread. It will be a wonderful aid as I learn more about this Neptunian idea of 'do nothing and let it do it's thing' .....aarrrghhhh. Doing nothing is not my thing so this is a power struggle for me. Difficult Pluto transits of years past were dealt with best by letting it be and not fighting the current....somehow the nebulous feeling of Neptune has a totally different feel...kinda like I am not going ANYWHERE!!!!! Ha,ha.....Life must've wanted me to slow down some....it just is not giving clear directions to my destination! Ever feel like that? Hugs- GemStar (she runs off to re-set everything again on her newest laptop!)

Hey Gem, So glad to know someone who loves Pisceans and "gets" us! ... most of the time, I feel like an alien! Not here on the forum, thank Goodness, but in many day-to-day experiences the world just fries my brain ... For example, have you ever felt (intuitively known) something to be true but other people refuse to acknowledge it or outright deny it? ... It will be great to have a Neptune thread where I can go "hang with my homies" when things get rough ... Love ... J

Hello Jamma....Yes...I OFTEN intuitively seem to KNOW things and when it is unacknowledged by the person who is not telling/revealing the entire story, it really throws my balance off. It is difficult to explain and often frustrating for me!! Usually it works out fine--especially when someone close to me knows that I can always detect these 'vibes'!!
One thing that has been said about Piscean folks is that they often live with their heads in the sand....and I find that rather perplexing as they are such intuitive people, and usually KNOW when something is happening in their lives, yet choose to pretend 'All is Well". This fake facade often is really confusing to my sensitive nature. Is it part of Neptune's illusions and delusions?
What do you think?
I am thinking on the direction of the Neptune thread and am desirous to find the positive things this planet brings into our lives....and not necessarily so overly focused on the 'fogginess' that is also present during it's transits....
Hopefully later today I will post a thought-provoking thread that will interest many. Neptune is not a planet we examine too often...at least I have not. Pluto and Uranus are so much more exciting that we tend to sleep through Neptune's messages I believe. Just my thoughts.....

Hey Gem, I can see how the "head in the sand" reputation comes about (although I think I'd rather put my head into water and avoid all that grit under the eyelids!) ... I think it's part denial and part uncertainty about about whether what you are seeing is the truth or merely old Neptune's sleight of hand (which could actually turn out to be the ultimate truth, as we are imagining our world microsecond by microsecond anyway!) ... But living with illusion can make you question what is "really real" ... And, as for denial (primamateria explained to me that Denial is the shadow of Innocence), it's often the first line of defense for everybody ... But when you perceive something that nobody else sees -- especially something terrible which you are powerless to do anything about it -- it sometimes seems preferable to ignore it ... But, of course, this is mostly going on in the unconscious ... An example: When my mother was dying of lung cancer (but had not yet been diagnosed or was even showing symptoms), I developed a case of acute conjunctivitis, which kept my eyes glued shut for weeks ... on some level, I must have known but couldn't let myself "see the truth" ... (I apologize for this being so "off topic" on this thread -- I'll move it when the Neptune thread gets set up) ... Meanwhile... Much Love to all of my beautiful co-forumites ... and, as I'm already off-topic, I'll take a moment to say how pleased and grateful I am to be in the company of such lovely, compassionate and CREATIVE beings ... this is the most talented and intelligent group of people I've ever been "in the same room with" (and that includes seven years of college and art school!) ... J
