Dear All, Members are aware of my efforts to shift from the current residence to somewhere close to my office. My idea is to dispose the current residence and purchase another one, possibly bigger one. About 4 months have passed since I started but nothing worked out so far because of huge hike in property prices. The issue is still burning. I am so restless to leave the current residence in the first place for a number of reasons, first and foremost of them is bad neighbourhood. I am managing these insensible neighbours for the last 4 years and I cann't manage it anymore. So the best thing is move out. Flat purchase at the desired locality is almost ruled out due to price escalation. So the strategy is changed by going for a purchase in the same locality, rent it out and move to desired locality on rent. It should work since the escalation is not very high in the current locality. I find a problem even in this since the people who showed interest in purchasing my flat are backing out. I understand 'price tag' is the reason behind it. I put it at reasonable market rate with no hidden expenditure etc. NOW what to do ? How to go about it ? I restrict my analysis by saying just one point. Lord of 2nd house Mars in 2nd in tight opposition to AC lord Jup in 8th. That is a bad signal for financial and expansive activity. I am grateful for the reading and suggestions from the members. Kris

Hi Kris, I'm no expert whatsoever but see that Jupiter quintile sun - let go of your usual way of thinking about it... how about moving out any way - rent another property, lease out the property you have - at some later time you could borrow against the equity you have in it to purchase another place with less pesky neighbours in a better area? That would satisfy Mar's signal not to expand finances straight away, but would solve at least one dillema - the neighbours and perhaps be closer to your office. The chart seems to say to me that you are really stressed about it and feel 'there is no way out'. This too shall pass. peace, prima

Thanks Prima,
I thought of it months back but shelved the idea because the neighbours are too bad. They are jealous of me for reasons I don't understand. They create nuisance for every natural thing like maintenance work and even crooked sometimes. I stopped talking to them long back and I feel they are at great dis-ease for I have been very stiff with them.
I don't think they allow my tenant to live peacefully. If the news of troublesome neighbours breaks out, the value of my property go down. Hence I continue to live there and plan to move out only when I dispose it. My plans are not known to any of them.

Kris, I promise to look at this within the next few days. Don't know if I can add much, but will try!

OK, Kim, I give up. What do you see in this chart?
I am totally buggered, other than to say that the chart certainly seems to reflect Kris' anxiety about the situation.
Two things occur to me. 1) There's alot of energy in the 11th house, which in horary can mean Friends, friendship, hopes, wishes, trust, confidence, "the thing of the present hoped for," and the goods of the person in command, as well as the falseness of friends. (according to Anthony Louis.) Can the property be signified by the 11th house cusp, in which the answer seems to be to just sit tight, no action right now? And is there some help in some form from a friend or neighbor (third house ruler in 11th.)
Taking giant guesses at this point. Wish I could be more help.
Blessings, Amoroso

Hello everyone,
Kris, I so empathise with you in your stressful living situation. It's a challenge to have such pressure in the place of life which needs to be a sanctuary.
I would say the property is the 4th house cusp--Mercury ruler.
Kris is Pisces, Neptune/Jupiter and co-ruler Moon
The 10th, its ruler and any planets there show the value of the property and the price.
Pluto on the MC 'says it all' about the undercurrents and pressures...but there is a way out with mutual reception to Jupiter!
Jupiter in the 8th says that an 8th house person or event is Key...an investor? a bank loan? a business associate? Money from a partnership? Say, didn't the 8th come up before...an inheritance? Maybe I am missing some quality of the 8th house? Any ideas?
The North Node in the first, Kris, gives me a positive feeling about all this even though it's difficult now.
The final aspect is a trine to Pluto in the 10th...and the inconjunct to the sun.
Kris, I don't know how this will work out but I feel that it will.
We need to explore Jupiter in the 8th.
That is the 'way out'.
Comments? Kim

Thanks Amoroso and Kim for the response.
To 'work' a way out I looked at 6th and found Moon rapt conjunct the cusp and in tight opposition to Neptune in 12th. The way out that I 'work out' (6th)would all probably an illusion strongly playing on my subconcious mind (12th). Hence I left the analysis to the members.
DC lord Mer (in 11) makes a leaving sextile to AC lord Jup in 8th and an applying conjunction to Sun the lord of 6th house. It is probable that I receive an advise about 'the way out' from a friend who can also be prospective buyer. But Mer is devoid of essential dignity and thus is weak by sign and house placement. So I may have to look for that WEAK signal from a friend. Can I catch it amidst that strong play between Moon and Neptune ?
Now, the all importnat finance part. Second lord venus in 11th is good but it's retrogration nullifies the advantage. Lord of 8th (finances of opponent) Mars in 2nd in tight opposition to jupiter the AC lord in 8th. The opponent feels my physical presence is a deterrent to profit making.
AC and DC lords are connected through Mars lord of 8th in 2nd. Thus, over all the cosmos signal is playing very very strong stressing upon the finacial part ONLY. Kim's idea to rely upon investors appears correct. Inheritance ? I don't expect, no chance.
Since the seller feels I am deterrent to profit making and the connectivity between me and the seller is only through Mars, the 'way out' is to hide and deal through a property dealer (whom I have been avoiding for various reason). I may not get a satisfactory deal since the 2nd and 11th lords - ven and sat are retrograde. And the seller too is stressed by his own 2nd lord Mars.
Finally, the seller is also stressed / desparate to dispose the property by having 'the destruct and reconstruct' man Pluto on 10th cusp. Does it speak anything about the condition of property the seller is offering.
When does it come about ? I am poor with assessment of timing. I need a refresher course perhaps.
Any more insights ?
warmly Kris
PS: 1) Somewhere I read about Moon hovering around out-of-bound position till June 2006. The period plays strong with the emotions of the people in general. Since Moon is one of financial planets, is it responsible for the current situation with property prices ?
2) I shall be away on official tour for 2weeks starting 23rd Jan 2006. Please rush your ideas/ suggestions at the earliest.

According to Louis, the 8th house can also mean "wealth or goods of the partner." Is there an overlooked opportunity for advise or a buyer through a business partner or your wife?

Hey, Kris,
I just read in Louis' book that Lilly used the 7th house to answer questions about whether to "remove from one house or place to another," or to stay in any place or not. The 4th House represents the current residence and the 7th, as 4th of the 4th, signifies the place or dwelling in which one would remove.
This is basically what Kim was saying, with an added twist. It's back to that Mercury.
Wish it was clearer to read. However, just like one of the job horaries that we discussed for me, hashing through all the possibilities helped me come to a decision about which I feel very good.
