transits for property settlement trial

hi all,

I wasn't sure where to post this question...

here is the chart (natal and transits) for later this month when I go to the 'pre-trial hearing' for my property settlement (post-divorce). It has taken two and a half years to get to this point and $15,000 in legal fees (which will come out of the settlement). I haven't doubted the outcome all this time but last night I had a dream in which my future self told me that I won't win! I am a bit too close to this so can anyone tell me what this looks like to them - there is quite a lot of eighth house activity isn't there?

Dear PM,

It is interesting that in your natal, both the Sun and Venus aspect your 8th house cusp, and this is echoed in the transit of Venus (just across Juno!) and the Sun through your 8th house.

Traditionally, Venus and or Jupiter through the 8th house are "go aheads" for acquiring investments or getting inheritances. There is a little book called "The 8th House" by Marc Robertson (I started to discuss this book with Juliet awhile back) which states that Venus through the 8th is "a good time to move to acquire some investment at an advantage...this is a major time to be involved in the practical matters of the 8th--to reap a profit."

So, go for it! Perhaps your dream was not so much prophetic, as the last vestiges of worry in this situation.

Once again, see what Kim has to say. I am not really experienced in this kind of thing yet, although I am starting to learn because I am a natal Sun-in-8th-houser. (Juliet--maybe we need a club!!)

I agree with Amoros on this...sometimes dreams are 'voicing' fears so you can recognize them...especially if you hadn't allowed yourself consciously to consider 'what if the settlement goes poorly?' The dream may just be raising the issues, to create balance (and tension!)

With those transits through the 8th house of 'shared resources from marriage', I feel very optimistic. Look at Mercury conjunct your vertex! If your birth time is accurate I suspect 'news that is pivotal' around that time!
