Hi dear all!! Feeling a bit shy over this question ;D, but I asked if I will have sex this year! It's been quite long... too long, I suddenly felt very deeply at New Years Eve. I don't mean meaningless empty sex in this question of course! I am Sun in 5, seems like a good sign, conjunct with Vertex there, in Mercury's term (I am Virgo) and conjunct my Natal Moon at 10 degrees Cap. Pluto and Mercury are in 5 too. My mind has certainly been on 'it'. Also, the Sun is approaching a trine with Mars in Taurus, a sensual sign, and a general significator for men, although Mars is in detriment there. But at an angle, and almost on my natal SN/IC?? Ruler 5 is Jupiter in 4 (at home??? hahaha), in its own term, and Sun will sextile it. Moreover Jupiter is in Scorpio... and conjunct my natal NN exactly. Is Jupiter the actual sexual experience or does it represent a person in this case? I added Eros and Sappho for this particular subject. Moon is conjunct Eros (but why in 6??) and will trine Sappho. But will also oppose retro Saturn in 12. Adds to the Grand fixed cross of this chart. Actually the current fixed cross is on my angles. Moon's last conjunction was with Chiron, and I did a lot of emotional work these last few months, so that seems describe the current state of affairs well. The last aspect the Moon will make, and in 7, is a sextile to Mercury/Pluto. Venus -as general significator for women- is moving back to 5. Does that mean anything? Uranus in 7/8, no commitment, which I feel fits my current state. But Moon moving into 7. Natal Uranus is in 7. I read a Yes, but am I being too optimistic?? Would appreciate your help with this! Thanks! Juliet

Hi Juliet... looks like its going to be a sexy year for you... the new moon on your natal cappy moon is just the beginning... ;D As for this horary, with Sun applying to ruler of 5 the answer must be YES... you ask why the venus/chiron/ moon/eros lineup occurs in 6 - I will hazard a loose interpretation here - the sixth being the house of mind-body connection you are obviously ready to mediate your (*new found*)emotional/erotic/physical needs - to put them to work, so to speak. Get some 'sexual healing' happening. (can you feel a song coming on?!) It all looks good! Joy, pm

I like the way PM put things in regards to that 6th house emphasis. We have to remember in Horary, the house interpretations are exacting, and I could not think of how to frame the Horary 6th house as day-today work or skill building, in addition to things afflicted. I guess if we remember when Horary was developed, the day-to-day work was often drudgery and despair, and that's where we get the 6th house meaning.
I just cast a horary where the Sun was my signifator, and it appeared in the 6th. I was a little taken back by it's placement, because I felt healthy and strong, but then I realized that I had just put in 7 hours teaching, along with cooking and house preparations for a holiday party. plus had provided support to several big projects for the kids, plus was continuing dialogue with my husband about the changes we are making--a very long "work day" indeed!
Yes, it looks like you will have some meaningful physical expression!!!!
Blessings and hears to a very Happy New Year! Amoroso

'Hears to' is very charming, Amoroso! I'm so glued to traditional horary, where 6 is such a gloomy place... Of course you're right Prima, with that interpretation of the Sixth here. I sometimes tend to overlook the obvious, tunnel vision. Started fitness today again, after a eight month break because of my concussion. Thanks! Juliet

Hi guys,
yeah the sixth house does have a poor reputation in general, and very gloomy indeed in traditional astrology - like slavery (er, which theme we could weave into your horary question Juliet, but only with tongue firmly in cheek, tee hee!).
Its great that you're back into exercise now - winter is a good time to do it as you can get really warm...
Jupiter on your natal NN! North node in Scorpio gives the gift of great pleasure in merging with another, if one can overcome the fear of losing one's own 'property' (including the body), and take the (huge) risk of allowing the self to really come alive. Jupiter here, and in the fourth, must be providing you protection to do this - and encouraging you to let go of past decisions and resistance to change. Very cool.
Blessings! pm

Hi Juliet, I think the 6th house can be pretty sexy in its own way... using technique to make everything on the physical plane work in perfect synergy! I'm thinking tantra, kundalini yoga, that sort of thing... but also, I've known some *very* Virgoan men who were excellent, excellent lovers. They were the sort of men who build boats in their living rooms or stereos from scratch, and their analytical natures tuned them into knwoing the perfect angles, positions, and touches to make sex "work" spectacularly. With that in mind, Venus, Moon, Chiron, and Neptune all together in the 6th looks yummy to me! I get "healing & satisfaction in partnership" coming through. Keep us posted! samina

The 6th is also "day to day to day' and I am thinking that is a lot of energy being experienced on a day to day level---not just the flash in the pan, one off! Kim

Thanks for all your contributions! Kim, what does this mean:
Something like sex with no emotional and practical consequences??

Oh, 'flash in the pan'...I guess that's real California lingo! I think it came from the gold mining days in the 1800's...you know, panning for gold and you get the 'flash' but it's just fool's gold or a bit of dust. A 'flash in the pan' is something that sparkles brifely and then is gone.
When I see that stellium in the 6th, I DON"T think it will be just a 'flash in the pan'. I think you will have a deep and rich and meaningful sexual, erotic, sensual and transformational relationships that is with you day by day by day...it's part of your life....you might meet him at or through work, the dentist's office or the Dr.'s.
Does that make more sense?
Sorry I didn't explain well--funny how the 'sayings' creep in unawares!
I think the Sun in the 5th is very bright and warm and protective of your soul…I think the sextile to Jupiter and the conjunction to the Vtx is extremely fortuitous in that the romantic sexual experience is a turning point, a real peak experience. Pivotal!
So no, not so much ‘sex without emotional or practical outcomes’ (consequences has a negative connotation and I just don’t get that with these placements). I think it is more ‘sex that is healing, exalted, creative, transforming, daily, healthy, emotive, evocative and warm…warm as love!’
Thanks my impression!
Warmly, Kim
