Hi Everyone have a new chart, a new question: not sure about this because of the wording - come over to me - but have used 1st for me and 7th for him as its about a relationship... so I am taurus on asc - venus is in 8 at end of Sagg and he is scorpio on dsc - pluto also in 8, or mars conjunct asc in 12, retro in taurus... but neither making any app. aspects to venus...'he' is not coming over to me at all.. it seems to have already passed - venus over pluto, mars over ascendant (is he hiding there in the 12th?) if I am Patient... Saturn? Seems to be aspecting a lot in this chart. Moon is in 6, conj Jupiter, early Scorpio... (just before the new moon, which was opposite my natal sun at 10 tau)... what this says about my situation, apart from that my mind is always on this man (a Scorpio), I really can't say... have been making a lot of jokes with him about telepathy though... moon applying to the Sun must be meaningful...perhaps something is changing? Can anyone help me with this please? I am too emotionally involved! Joy, Prima

Hi Prima,
I guess that Venus VOC, AND almost changing signs actually tells you YOU will be changing somehow, as Scorpy also writes... You're in the house of intimacy and sex. A planet being VOC is not the same as Moon VOC, since Moon would represent the course 'the action' will take.
Moon will apply to an opposition to Mars, but it will not happen soon, since it is fixed in a Cadent house. Also some horary theorists would consider the Moon coming under the Sun's beams, which weakens it. I have no experience at all with that! Keep that changing Venus in mind!!!
Blessings, Juliet

Hi PM,
I am still very much learning horary, but I think the fact that Moon and Sun have the slower moving planet Jupiter between them means that the conjunction will be "delayed" or "frustrated" some how, and the Moon's square to Saturn in the 3rd may mean that communcation will be delayed.
Wish I had more to add at this point! Will look at it again later this weekend. I'm writing on a break at the school where I teach right now.
(Gotta have that forum fix!!!)
Blessings, Amoroso

These are all good points! I would add that the Rx nature of Mars (7th house ruler) along with it being in the sign of its DETRIMENT and BESEIGED (any planet between two ‘greater malefics’, to use the archaic phrase—perhaps we can just say, ‘between two outer planets’) is in no shape to act—though there are several houses between—so the restriction is slightly lessened. Still, he can’t do anything on his own behalf. He can not come over to you because he is ‘impeded’…blocked, inhibited, encumbered. The Moon is under the sunbeams (within 17 degrees) which can make you hesitant, timid even, in the matter asked about. It is also combust the sun (within 8.5 degrees of the same sign) and that does weaken YOUR ability to act. The energy of the Moon is ‘burned up’ or absorbed by the Sun. The Sun is the ruler of your 4th—could family matters or responsibilities be taking up most of your energy now? As Amoroso pointed out, the Moon is applying to square Saturn, ruler of the 9th and 10th, in the 3rd. This is also the last major planet the Moon passed over. It suggests a ‘commitment to ideas’ in the past, perhaps geared towards education or business, that binds you together in some way. It also has limitations-restrictions. The Moon is also, as ScorpyMoon mentioned, in the Via Combusta—the fiery road. It’s not an easy time for you, mainly because you can not affect matters as you desire! There is, though, the conjunction of the Moon to the Sun which could bring some kind of change—and as Juliet pointed out, your ruler, Venus, is about to change signs and that can coincide with a shift in your perspective on the whole situation. The grand fixed cross says at this time—the action on his part is severely limited. You, on the other hand are VOC—and mutable. You have a lot more freedom! Kim
