Recently I cast a chart for "Should I take the job with ClassActs?" and I determined that the chart was not fit to read because the ASC was at the 28th degree and Saturn was in the 7th.
So I waited until later to cast another chart for the same question, which came up fit to read.
My question is, in Horary, can I ask the question twice in the same day? (I'll post the chart if the answer is yes.)
Thanks much! Amoroso

Hi Amoroso,
I'm out of time-racing to work- and I'll get back to the forum tonight to read all the new posts.
I just wanted to say that you CAN NOT ask the same question twice in horary--full stop (period) UNLESS something has CHANGED.
AND, The late ascendant is READALBE for you because you have 29 degrees rising in your natal chart. (this is where we are lucky! We can read the 'too late' charts because they aren't too late for us!)
Rule: If the degree on the Ascendant of a Horary matches a significant degree in the natal chart of the querent, (asc, moon, sun) it's fit to read. Post the first one!
Back tonight! Kim

Well, thanks, Kim! Glad that 29th degree has some perks! Here is the chart for the question, "Should I take the job with ClassActs?" i17.photobucket.com/albums/b61/RealAmoroso/ClassActs.gifI thought traditional Horary says that Saturn in the 7th makes the chart unfit to read. But, if it is not a problem, this is what I see. My ruler, Jupiter is with Venus at the MC. Venus is the ruler of the 10th house cusp and therefore represents the employer. It seems like that would be on the pro side. Also, Jupiter, Venus and the Pars Fortunae are all in the 9th house, which represents teaching, and the 9th house is intercepted by Libra (arts) and Virgo (detail and discrimination) which does describe the job well. However, what is their opposition to the node all about? Chiron is sitting in the 4th house of the 10th in Capricorn, signifying the end of the matter? The organization is having some problems based on the fact that they are all artists who have no sound business practices in place. My taking the job may help to heal (chiron) the foundations of the organization (Capricorn) This may also be signified by Pluto in the 12, (uncovering hidden problems?) which is sextile the MC. The Moon is also trine Venus, and is in the fifth house. My heart really would love the job and feel that the project is very worthwhile. The moon's square to Uranus in the second is probably because I found out suddenly and in an awkward fashion after negotiations had been going on for weeks that their operating budget was not in place and there were many loose ends. I am not comfortable taking the job with things in their present form. Any other comments? Thanks much! Amoroso

Hi Amoroso,
I was zipping around so much this morning that I missed the Saturn in the 7th part of your sentence!
When Saturn is in the 7th (and that does make him accidentally dignified, btw) many astrologers won’t read the chart.
I do though—(and my teacher from 30 years ago did too!) It just means that there is something that has to be ‘fixed, adjusted or considered in the drawing of the chart” which you think would be moot with computers (no math errors like the old days!) but in this case, you see, true to form, you had to do another chart and then come back to this one—interesting!
This Saturn is 0.3’ from the 8th anyway—if you had drawn the chart a matter of seconds later it’d be in the 8th, so I’d allow it. If the question was about 7th house matters, like a legally binding partnership or contract, I’d add caution to the reading.
So, the 10th does answer questions about business affairs and professional employment. Career, honor and reputation.
The ruler of the first and 10th conjunct in artistic Libra says Yes yes yes. Trine Neptune is great for creativity (not so great for bookkeeping, which you already mentioned!)
Venus ruling the 10th denotes a position that may involve cooperation with others, the deferring (somewhat) of your needs to suit theirs or the need to entertain others. In Cardinal Libra, there is a feeling of being their own authority in what they do. And yes, Venus in the cadent 9th says the position is one of teaching.
Will you get the job? Yes, if you want it as the co-ruling Moon is approaching a trine to Venus and Venus is about to conjunct your ruler Jupiter (they seek you out because of your authority and reputation).
SHOULD you take the job? Well, I think you already have! Look at you conjunct the MC! It’s a go!
The Moon square Uranus (ruler of your 2nd) says the only glitch is the remuneration. Neptune’s in your second as well. Are they funded by an arts grand? Will you sign a contract? How will you be paid? That’s the only concern. The actual work—is brilliant!
The south node tells me that this is something you do with your eyes closed….this is what you know so well. Also, someone from the past is involved…be alert to what they want (they want something).
I like the chart—feels good. Just nut out the business side and away you go!
Other comments?

Thanks so much, Kim. Whoo-hoo, maybe I am beginning to "get" Horary a bit!
Everything you said was spot on. I have told them that I would love the job if they can adequately answer my budget questions and issue me a contract in a timely fashion. (Saturn in the 7th--be aware of contractual obligations?)
Blessings, Amoroso
