Just an update here. Haven't found my student record book and actually had to start another one because it's been so long. Looked high and low, north and south, under, over, in and out.
I must admit, I am not overly impressed with my experience with horary yet. I am waiting to see what happens with another chart I discussed with Kim privately, but I haven't been swept off my feet yet.
However, just to observe how Horary might work in retropect, I cast a chart for my wedding day and time, and was pretty entertained. Many planets, Eros, and the Pars Fortunae are crowded into the 7th and 8th houses with Venus conjunct the DESC. The moon is in Cancer in the 3rd, and Saturn and the NN are in the fifth!

I'm wondering if the 'timing' of the questions are more 'in question' than the actually methodology. I know that the question has to be 'born', has to be asked when it is 'ripe', burning in the mind. When we are looking for or thinking on things for a long long time before bringing it forward, it may be 'over done' ...thought that would usually show up as a very late degree ascendant (which Amoroso would read anyway because she has a very late degree ascendant...)
I guess we will have to let hind sight be our guide now. Which simple means, we have to 'wait and see'.

Yes, the timing of the questions seems a good point. In the case of this lost record book, it had been an annoying question for quite some time before I posted the chart. And I definately operate on the 'over thinking, over done" plane! Amoroso

FOUND IT!!!! Quite by accident, but thought I would report here. I moved something in order to clean and found it. In this case, going to the S/SE corner of the house and looking North was correct. It had fallen behind a movable cabinet which holds recycling and trash. This container is near a window which runs from ceiling to floor. But Kris was correct in that it was "hidden" and was actually near a courtyard, because it was leaning against the wall that separates our kitchen from a courtyard/patio. I had read somewhere that the 4th house can signify "kitchen" in Horary. The interesting thing is that I had just moved the cats' food and water to this corner, so the book was, indeed, near water, and was covered with dust. It has all my receipts for taxes in it (since I am mostly free-lance) so I was still very glad to find it. OK, Kim. Horary have my attention now! Blessings, Amoroso

Oh! I just realized the "plumbing" aspect was correct, too. It was sitting next to the built-in dishwasher!

Yes, Horary gets one's attention. And the chart did indicate that you would find it...I'm just going to have a 'hindsight' look at the timing and report back! Kim

This chart was one of the ones I deleted recently. First lesson of amateur astrologers--don't delete charts.... Thanks, Kim! Amoroso I wanted to say about that.. seeing that I know you have a photo bucket account like I do.. you don't need to delete charts or anything until your account is FULL.. THEY will tell you when it's full.. It took me more than a year and a half to fill up my account (but with charts and web optimized and non optimized photos).. In hind sight I sugest that (and I will cross post this) Do not delete your charts (this is a learning experience) If you do not want anyone to see objects in your photo bucket account there are options to only let people see the things you have provided with a link. If you have saved the chart on your own hard drive and give it the same name it will come back to the space it was given on Photobucket when you upload it.. if not, and it's saved.. just repost. Either that or get the information once again.. and I will create a chart and repost for you. Maybe you saved the information on your www.astro.com ? if so all you need to do is put it up and save it to your hard drive (if you deleted it) and then reload it onto photo bucket. I think one of the main rules of posting the charts here was that the chart should be saved (for future referance) even if you can't keep it up on photo bucket, you can always pass it along to someone else (like me for example or Kim) this one felt very important.. and I'm personally sorry I didn't keep a copy although a quite everyday type of question. Need any help? I'm here! as my "buisness card" used to say "at your service..." (an artist at your service?) Take care, svenskasfinx

Dear Amoroso,
Glad to know that the record book is found. I am pleased to note that the combined effort of Kim and mine worked reasonably well.
Trash is indicated by Saturn. I emphasized on 'hidden' angle owing to Saturn but did not point to waste material. Another lesson is that "the where of it" should be addressed by lead indicator first and it's sign placement next. Kim is correct in this regard.
"Find it or not" is again in the arena of the motion of lead significator - direct (Yes), retrograde (no). Right ?
warmly Kris
PS: My daughter secured B.TEch seat in Mechanical engineering in a prestigious private college. Counselling is yet to be held for seats reserved for special catetory - NCC for which she toppped the contingent from Indian Army. We hope she gets admission into university campus under NCC.

Dear Kris,
Welcome back, and congrats to your daughter on her accomplishements! You must be very proud of her. We found out yesterday that our 16-year old son just won a state distinguished scholar in the arts college scholarship for his work as a jazz bassist. We are quite "puffed up" around here, in spite of having to put a beloved pet to sleep on the same day we recevied our son's news.
Blessings, Amoroso

Dear Amoroso,
Indeed I am proud of my daughters achievement. It was hard to stay alone for 4 years. Stiil I went ahead with the decision of putting the family at my hometown for the sake of my daughters education. She was 14 then and was clouded by adolescence. I wanted to protect her from going off track. I received heavy criticism from all and sundry. Many viewed it as irresponsibility on my part. That was not the case. I was in regular touch with my children, daughter especially, through telephone and frequently wrote her to keep her steady and realize the importance of education.
Congratulations to your son. It seems artistic talents are there in your family (Genetic ?) I wish he reaches the top in the field.
regards Kris
