Meditating on the Galactic Center/Core (27 Sag) after coming upon a few cases of synchonicity from other threads ...
After reading the Bacchus (2063) page, I took a look at my natal and found the God of Wine is at 26 Sag 41 -- pretty close to the GC/C ...
But then I saw that Dionysus (3671) is directly opposite at 27 Gem 05 ... while in opposition, to me, these two energies are more like two sides of the same coin (hmmm ... interesting to flip the zodiac wheel in space and look at it sideways, as a disk! ... wow, more to ponder)
Kim says that those with personal planets near the GC/C are sometimes "mouthpieces" for the energy of the Milky Way ... I know Bacchus/Dionysus are only asteroids, but I get the feeling that the GC/C might have a job for me, too ...
Could it be my task this lifetime (here's the second synchronicity, involving the Sag-Gem axis and lunar/solar eclipses -- see Pre-Natal Eclipse thread) to help these two deities "communicate" ? ... (btw, Kim, love your explanation of how Bacchus and Dionysus differ!) ...
Soooooo, with the GC/C (and transiting Pluto) at his back, I'll put a megaphone to Bacchus' lips and and let him shout across the galaxy to Dionysus ... I think I heard him say, "Remember to live in -- and revel in -- your BODY!" ...
Eagerly awaiting D's reply ... ...
The next piece of synchronicity is that a relocation chart from my birthplace to where I live now puts my "adjusted Ascendant" at 28 Sag 52 ...
Was toying with the idea of moving back to Hawaii, where natal Eros would be conjunct my Ascendant ... but with the GC/C so close to my Ascendant here, I wonder if it's my DUTY to stick around until my "mission" is accomplished ... ...
Maybe my answer is in the final bit of synchro-magic:
My progressed Eros is at 26 Sag 14 (standing in for natal Bacchus), while progressed Anteros is at 27 Gem 44 (Dionysus' natal spot) ...
Don't really know how Eros/Anteros fit into the Bacchus/Dionysus scenario, but writing all this out for comments from the forum seems like a good first step ... feel free to jump right in ...
Thanks so much for letting me babble on like this (endeavoring to follow my Gem NN, even though it feels uncomfortable, like I'm being a Forum hog as well as boring everyone to tears!) ...
