Hi Kim,
I just realized that in this section I can also post something little different from astrology...
I would like to share my very interesting coincideces/syncronisities that have occured in my life so far.
A big bright snake appered in my dream about a year ago. In this dream, I was walking down the darkstreet and it was a clear night sky, and suddenly a very big bright snake appeared in the sky, and it moved in a very funny way- a sort of zig-zagging . (like it was swimming in the sky) and then it dissapered. Then the next things I saw were very big two Suns, shinning very brightly and many people shocked in awe to see two of them.
A few days after this dream, some syncronisities started occuring.
I was at home, put on TV, and there you go there was a snake programme.... I changed channels and again there was another snakes on TV.
Yet another day again, I was doing housework when my partner suddenly interruptted what I was doing by saying "Look at those interesting snakes on TV".
an Another day I had to go to buy some gift for a friend of mine so I went to an accessorry shop. There they were giving away some gifts for those who purchase over some amount of money. I bought the present for my friend, and they gave a gift for me as well (I was not given any choice to choose from). I went home and opened the gift they gave to me, only to find out that it was a snake pendant.
I asked someone who could interpret dreams and i was told that I should be entering into a healing phase in my life (as snakes are symbols of medical matters) or I could be heading for a big change as snakes are able to shed its skin to change themselvs.
I think it is very interesting to note that I dreamt this dream when transiting Pluto is actually travelling through in my first house as pluto is associated with healings, and with pluto there indeed, I am in the middle of process of changing my life completely.

Hi Kiyomi,
This is interesting. Here we have not only a strong dream image but one that is underscored by inescapable synchronistic events.
It is like your unconscious isn’t satisfied with offering up a vivid dream full of information and meaning. It ‘creates’ meaningful coincidences that you can’t ignore, making the symbol of the snake irrepressible.
Carl Jung, who gave us the name and concept of ‘synchronicity’, felt that there were four major principles governing the universe: Energy, Causality, Space-time and Synchronicity. He called it the quaternion. Our present laws of physics are concerned with the first three, energy, causality and space/time. Synchronicity, the fourth principle, is created by the reality-structuring nature of consciousness. We are beginning to see examples and experiments on this in quantum physics which suggest that the laws of the first three are actually contingent upon consciousness as well. It seems that my first Astrology teacher some 35 years ago was right when she said, repeatedly, “Energy follows thought”!
Now it is up to you to communicate back to your unconscious and honor the ‘gift of the dream’ by seeking out a deeper meaning.
I look at dreams in three ways.
1. What does the symbolism mean to the collective? 2. What does the symbolism mean to me personally? 3. How did I FEEL in the dream?
Collective images of snakes do imply healing, instinctual wisdom, change, transformation, power, danger, sexuality, shadow. What do they mean to you personally? Are you fascinated? Would you be afraid to touch one? Afraid if it came towards you? Would you follow it? Speak to it? Protect it? Defend yourself from it?
How did you feel in the dream? Awe? Fear? Anxious? Full of wonder? Much of the message may be in the feelings evoked. When you see nature shows with snakes, do you change the channel or watch with interest?
The brightness of the snake against the dark sky is interesting. Contrasts like that can me your own “light” and “Shadow” side. Anything bright is often associated with treasures!
The two suns make me immediately say in my mind, “She’s going to have another son and everyone will look on with wonder and excitement!” (but that’s just me!)
Pluto is in your first house and has (more synchronicity) rulership over snakes and serpents. Also, transiting Jupiter is passing over your natal Pluto right now as well, expanding all themes associated with this planet, including change, transformation, healing and deep journeys into your unconscious.
I believe this dream and synchronistic events/transits surrounding it herald the beginnings of such an inner journey.
Warm wishes, Kim

Hello everyone (and Kim who I am quoting) ; The reason I quoted Kim this particular phrase is because this is how I personally "interpret" dreams, when I do... I find Kim's listing of things is right to the point too. The snake I find is the most loaded of all the symbols, when it comes to dreams, it is nothing that is entirely one layered, but in my own experiences with dreams of snakes, and with other people's dreams of snakes, there are always multi-levels to how one can read it, and it is NEVER just one thing, but a combined situation of things. And yes the snake can mean so many things due to it's relevence in our cultures: Posted by: Kiyomi: Kiyomi: Because this is a dream that was from last year, perhaps you can see with hindsight the events and the meanings of the syncroncities of the snake showing up and just what did was happening when you saw it, and perhaps speculate upon the reason of why it was "speaking to you". Sometimes with older dreams one can open a different kind of dialogue and get an even broader understanding; if you are a person who writes down your dreams, as much as possible and remember them, maybe you can even get a clue to cycles you may go through with your dreams and why you had such a vivid dream at that time as well. Some people have "vision cycles" where they can almost track down when they are going to have a certain kind of dream, more or less... and last year some extrodinary things were happening, the largest recorded solar flares come to my mind, and the fact that you dreamt of two suns may even speak to you of a duality within the sun itself, "astronomically" and "astrologically" as well as how people tend to look at the sun, as dry science for example, or as a loaded symbol, just like the snake... Just tossing some thoughts around. Take care, svenskasfinx

Kim, sorry for a late reply and thank you for your insights. Usually, I have never liked snakes in my life so far yet after studying some materials such as chakras and other related matters, I have come to became very aware that snakes symbolize some kind of psychological "changes" that is usually very deep and profound in nature.
Espcecially after I received a gift of snake pendant by accident, I've become very intersted in the meanings of snakes -
I was indeed very afraid of those things assosiated with snakes such as changes, transformation, sexuality just as I was afraid of snakes in the past
However, I've come to actually look at snakes with wonders and even with owe now especially after I had recieved a snake pendant as a gift.
I am now embracing with all those symbols associated with them. - transformation, deep changes and healing and even confusing sexuality as well and every time I see some images of snakes somewhere, they remind me of very important concepts associated with them. Don't be afraid of them, but embrace them and don't escape from "scary" (or it may seem so at the begining) challenges in life.
Svenskasfinx- thank you for your insights. I will mull over what you say.

Seilu,
The Dvine Feminine is calling you--asking for acknowledgment in your life, through you!!!!
We are conditioned to think of the snake as "yucky" from the old Adam and Eve stories and our general disconnect from nature.
Are you aware of the energy, called "Kundalini" that is depicted as a snake lying colied at the base of the spine? There is much more to this than a visual image--it is a very real energy. But one that must unfold slowly.
Wow! Amoroso

Sielou!
What a dream! I have a tattooed snake twining my back from my bum to above my shoulder blades, and one mirroring him on my front (the female). Since getting them, my life has changed dramatically!
This energy is potent, primordial, magical... the serpent is for us a link from this world to 'behind the veil'. It alowes us to 'see' MORE OF what is here! I recommend you met 'Nehustan' by reading "The Moon Under her Feet"...see the 'annotated links' thread!
Wow!
Great Dream!
Kim
