Hello Everyone!
Lately I have been thinking about the current transit of Saturn opposing Chiron. According to other astrological theories, this can be a rather difficult transit to handle in regards to relationships. More disputes, breakups etc....and currently this opposition is occuring exactly at the cusp as we move forward into new signs:
Saturn moving into Leo and Chiron transiting into Aquarius.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this transit? A good friend is having some major difficulties and his n. Jupiter (5th house) is exactly conjunct his tr. Saturn at 0' Leo. I am not sure how to read expansive Jupiter conjuncting this difficult Saturn opp. Chiron transit.
What do you think?? How do you read Saturn opposed Chiron? Have you noticed further conflicts around you? (Of course we have seen more violence than ever of late....sadly.) This would be great insight!

Dear Gemstar, Currently Saturn is one degree from opposition to my natal Chiron/Eros. This is in my 10th-Leo/4th-Aquarius axis. I waited to respond to your question until the opposition was in effect.
I would say that one of the things that has come up are immense power struggles between each member of my family and me, that have to do with my need for control and order within the home, and their need to do nothing but have their home be a safe place to let go and do their own thing. Obviously both sides are "right" and I have spent a fair amount of time trying to release my demands and be fair to myself at the same time. (10th house as being a mom-part of my "image.)
It does help to be conscious of these things as they come up. As Kim says, what does the planetary energy in a certain house with its aspects WANT and NEED. I can see how this would be a rough transit if one were totally unaware of what was going on.
It HAS been rough, even with my awareness. And I think Chiron's involvement means that it will be felt in the body somehow, so eating right and exercising, or the way one "uses" one's body helps both Chiron and Saturn. The fact that Saturn is in opposition to Eros in the 4th just means that these dear people, husband, son, daughter--all fruits of my heart's desire--are involved. And Eros is alive in so many other ways, too. I am trying to give form (Saturn) through writing and my work (through the 10th.)
Another interesting thing is that we have been having trouble with insect infestation in the kitchen (4th) and I having been working very hard the past few weeks to reorganize and take care of this problem (Saturn)without resorting to chemicals or poison. (Chiron as ruler of Virggo-house of health.)
Lots to decipher, but that's a start.
Blessings, Amoroso

Thanks Amoroso!! So sorry it has taken some time to reply. My computer had been hit by lightening (I live in Florida) so I have been out of commission internet-wise for some time!
I appreciated your reply and have witnessed similar frustrations and friction with a dear friend who had the some opposition....Chiron is so fascinating to me and as always, I wish we had more information available! Your insight was great to read and it made sense to me!
Thanks again....Hope you are well! Warm hugs-

You have GOT to be kidding me.
I just noticed that Saturn goes major retrograde in January-May of 2006, which means he's going to back over my whole 10th house stellum and sit opposite from my Chiron/Eros conjunction in the 4th AGAIN. Which is where he is right now.
Lots of health concerns with Mom and Husband, lots of things needing to be done in the house, work very busy. It also means he is staying in opposition to my husband's Chiron for awhile, too. (see Chiron return thread.)
Feeling a bit apprehensive, probably because I have a bad cold. I will try to look at a positive spin on this soon.

Transit saturn Rx oppose my natal eros, chiron conjunct in Aqu. Natal AC lord moon last transit over natal eros last night. Got up dull in the morning. Sorrow internally. Do not feel like doing anything.
Thanks Amoroso for rising the thread.

Kris,
So you have a natal Chiron/Eros conjunction, too? Kim has written a wonderful bit on this combination--I will try to find it if she doesn't have a chance to post it for you.
I do think this means that Chiron's heroic joinery, by house and sign is intimately tied up with the erotic journey, and anything with Eros will bring up Plutonian sub themes. Sometimes "not feeling well" is the only way we have to process all that "underneath" energy until we figure out what it's about.

I meant "journey," not the non-word "joinery!" -A.

Hi everyone... I'm a bit worried about this... lots of negativity surrounding this Chiron transit - remember that your thoughts are creating your reality here... (I have 3 planets at 0 degrees and my NN at AP so Chiron is aspecting all over my chart too)... can anyone come up with some positive interpretations of Chiron/Saturn and Chiron transits in general?? I think that sa dose of Chiron's 'maverick' energy brings a breath of fresh air to us, and perhaps Saturn in Leo can mean making manifest some of those secret heart's desires that Chiron helps us to uncover... Kris - do something different!! Meanwhile... sending light and joy, pm

Amoroso, I like to know about chiron eros conjunction. Thanks.
Prima: Thanks for your suggestion to do something different. Indeed I thought of doing something different today just after reading the posts.
About your comments on chiron return, I post my response under chiron return thread.

Hey Amoroso! I had been away for a while....dealing with post Hurricane issues here in Florida...I am on my second computer replacement (all purchased during the Mars retrograde last Fall) and will be getting my third one (yes...third one) in the next month to replace this dysfunctional one---arrgghh!!
Because I have been out of the loop, I am half guessing at things in my mind as far as what is happening with you and C or home. Since Saturn is retrograde now...this is probably your second pass and you will have one more later this summer I think as Saturn transits back over this sensitive area for you. Has your health been fine?
If you would, please share what has been hard for you? Emotions? Decisions? Relations?
Hopefully you are well and this crazy transit will leave you with more growth and less anguish! The moon/uranus certainly keeps you a bit unsettled no doubt!
Keep Breathing....Serenity Now....ha,ha.....gotta love vintage Seinfeld!!

Hi Gemstar,
It's nice to have you back! Yes, three computers in one year seems crazy, but so has the weather down in your area.
I am amazed that you commented on the Saturn transits/retrograde action--he is basically PARKED his big butt on top of C's last name asteroid, near my MC and is in opposition to my Chiron/Eros, and only 6 months away from my Chiron return. I can not imagine how difficult this combination would be--especially extended through the marvelous retrogrades--if one weren't aware that energy is energy and one was trying to find productive uses for it.
First up, Kim told me awhile ago in a tutorial on Saturn across my MC that Saturn would help bring whatever is REAL with C into manifestation. If there is no relationship, that will become clear, if there is a tangible friendship to be forged, that will happen. With the grand cross and other things happening, we will see. I have not heard a thing from him or about him, other than the Horaries Kim has help me decipher.
What am I feeling? A great need to change everything. We live in a highly competitive, money-rich area of the nation's capitol, which has always been strange for us. I am not sure how we ended up here. We may stay, but are in the process of figuring out what we need to do to downsize and be healthy, and recreate intimacy in our marriage. The opposition is on our 10th-4th axis. So issues of job, marriage and home are really highlighted now. We have been repairing alot around the house the last 6 months, and are looking to renovate to give me a music room. Right now I teach in the living room, in an open environment that has gotten harder, rather than easier, as the kids have gotten older. My study is upstairs, along with all my files, computer and recording equipment and a guest bedroom, and all my music is in a closet in the basement. We are looking to make that all more efficient and give my husband his own space to study as he will be leaving the corporate rat race to go back to school for a year. The oldest child will be off at college next year.
So, many "audacious" changes and I feel them in my body, as usual.
I have really babbled enough!
Blessings, Amoroso

Hello Amoroso-WOW...you certainly do have a lot of things going on! Really huge changes...I would attribute those probably more to Pluto/Uranus energies....however, with the Saturn opposed Chiron energy, perhaps it is more like a push of sorts!
I certainly understand living in a wealthy area and feeling connected yet disconnected at the same time-mostly due to values on material things vs spirituality. The more you are connected to Life, the more you understand that peace is found within and not within the trappings. Change is good I feel for you! Both you and husband are certainly making all kinds of changes...almost a cleansing of sorts!
As far as C goes...I like Kim's idea that if it is meant to be, basically the Universe will have you cross paths again. And in the meantime, you happily continue with your musical teachings and various activities that you are gifted with to share with others.
Regarding sky activity, I still have not felt affected by the Grand Cross that has been in the sky since November....however, maybe this weekend, with the Full Moon, some of us here will discover something!!
Thanks for sharing your feelings and doings Amoroso!! So much activity and I hope you have time for yourself too!! : )
