Another Virgo/Leo with Leo Moon... That makes 3 so far, counting myself... Weird. I would concentrate on the Venus Return for love and social connections. Even though it's true that the 5th house here is loaded, comparing it to the natal chart, 2 things come to mind: the ruler of the seventh (uranus) is in 11, and ruler of the 5th (jupiter) in the 7th, and they are in trine. Also, Uranus is conj. the Moon, ruler of your 12th. This could mean what the French call "coup de foudre" which is kind of hard to translate, but it's a sudden falling in love, like being struck by lightning. Since it is in the 11th, possibly with someone you have another kind of connection with? Is there someone in your life right now who you feel you might fall in love with in the near future? I would look at transits also, for the timing.

Here is another thing, something lunariviera explained in another thread some time ago: Celeste Teal says you could also check, for further insight, what natal house is brought to the ascendant of the return chart...then, look for the degree of the return chart asc. in your natal chart and scan counterclockwise until you arive at the first natal planet following that point, regardless of how far away that is.
In your case, that would be Mars. It seems that Mars will be a prominent influence in the coming year as far as relationships go. I don't think she says it's as important as a planet conj. the asc. in the return chart, but still... In the event that one doesn't have a planet conj. there (as is your case, Taurus is empty), maybe the natal planet gains even more importance, taking the place of a first house planet? I don't know, I am speculating here....

Thanks, whiteheather. "Is there someone in your life right now who you feel you might fall in love with in the near future?"
Hm, possibly. I've started seeing a guy whose Leo Sun is at 15, near my Ur/Asc/Moon. We only recently met, but have spent a lot of nice time together (his Venus is also trine my Mars). Now he's going away for the summer, which brings him back to the area in September when the Venus Return and Solar Return both go into effect (although I understand there's some debate on if these start before the actual date?).
You mentioned transits for timing. In the very end of August into early Sept, Saturn moves out of my 12th across my Asc/Moon into the 1st. My astrologer has always put Saturn as my Aquarius Dsc ruler (traditional ruler) and therefore she said having Sat transiting my 12th would put partnership out of my control. So having it move into the 1st should be good, then, and timing fits with the VR and SR. Jupiter on the 7th cusp in the VR links to my natal Sat in Sag in the 5th. (she always suggested I'd be with a foreigner; this guy is not, but does like to travel - Moon in Sag)
But it could also be Uranus is the ruler as you suggest, with the coup de foudre. But then how can one predict lightning striking?!
As for Mars being prominent, not sure. Maybe have to see how it plays out.
Thanks for taking the time to look at this!

Dear 3rdhousenorth,
A few thoughts here--I am not very skilled at reading returns, but the first thing I saw in your natal was that Moon-Uranus conjunction on the ASC. This intrigued me because I have a Moon-Uranus conjunction on the MC! (born two years before you.)
I think what this could mean in a return is that the very electric energy of Moon-Uranus square Mars, when transited, is already familiar to you. Yes, you'll experience it in an outer or inner event, but perhaps it won't be the lightening event it may look to be you have it somewhat integrated.
When Mars transits or aspects my Moon/Uranus, I have discovered that it feel less jolting than Uranus' slow transit of my Mars. Yowie-zowie to that!
Also, the Venus return shows that 10th house issues are "to the front"--job, public reputation, role in your family/community, etc.
Nice to find a fellow Moon-Uranus--er, Is that a word? It is now!
Blessings, Amoroso

Thanks, Amoroso. Yes, Moon-Uranus can be interesting - never a dull moment when there's something going on with that! I find any transit to my Uranus-Asc-Moon and I have trouble sleeping. I feel electrified and it gets in the way of sleep. Even Uranus transits elsewhere can do this.
I don't see all that much happening in my 10th house in my Venus return - it's all piled up in the 5th. And no Mars square Moon-Uranus - are we looking at the same chart? Or maybe I'm missing something!?
