Dear Forum ... Here are the SR and natal charts of a very good friend ... she is a wonderfully caring, talented, smart, beautiful woman (she's been a dancer all her life and still has the legs of a 20-year-old!) ... Right now she's frustrated by the drought in her love life, and I am hoping that her Solar Return may have some good news ... I've included the "romance asteroids," plus Patientia and TARDIS, which are both conjunct the Gemini Sun in her natal ... (I recently suggested that she needs to "relax into" these asteroids -- if she fights Patientia, TARDIS will just hold her back harder ... She's so brilliant that she immediately saw the metaphor of a Chinese finger puzzle!) ... In the Solar Return, I think Eros and the Moon in the 7th look good, but what about old Patientia conjunct Anteros and Venus in the 6th? I'd be very grateful for some objective opinions here ... I'm so close to her that I don't seem to want to see anything unless it's viewed through rose-colored glasses!  ... J   |

 Hi JAMMA! hope Kim comes along because it all looks quite interesting to me. I immediately was drawn to two things: That Mars Juno tight conjunction in the SR right at the MC! And then her SR Venus it Aries 24 actually falls in her natal house 4 at a 3 orb conjunction with her natal Venus. BTW that natal moon, saturn, neptune on the MC tight, tight in her natal is WOW!

And yes, that natal Moon/Saturn/Neptune stellium at exactly 21 Libra had me going  , too! ... she was born not only psychic but adult ... I wonder if those three, exactly opposite her natal Venus, have been ganging up on her to kibosh romance ... Any other insights? J |

Well I think the fact that LIBRA is rising (ruled by Venus) and the Moon is in 7th House (relationship) Taurus (also ruled by Venus) bodes something. The Mars MC does seem to be about action/passion in work. Juno has been paling around tight with Mars for a while. I need to read up on those implications.

Hello all,
I'm not sure I can read this! It's so similar to my return (the day before). I feel quite subjective...
First up, the 10th natal house to the foreground does say something strong about 'a year to focus on career'. Tenth house matters of all kinds come to the foreground.
Romance is 5th house, and with Pisces ruling that cusp, we can safely say 'she'll but out to lunch'! This could be a really dreamy feeling, or one that feels like unstable ground or loss...probably a combination of all three feelings!
She definitely wants to partner (Libra rising, Venus in Aries) but that Neptune/Saturn conjunction is Libra has such an idealized vision of what that partnership entails...it can make it difficult to be open to new possibilities. Aries on the SR 7th house cusp says she needs to do just that to create the partnership she wants now...not the one she dreamed of in the past!
The more she examines her current beliefs around relationship, the clearer she'll get on this.
She might find it helpful to answer these questions by filling in the blanks:
1. Relationships are ............
2. Men are.................
3. Intimacy equals ..............
The chart to read, though, is the Venus return (occurring so close to this one.) Can you post it?

Hello all ... I really appreciate the input on this! And darling overworked Kim -- Thanks SO MUCH for this interpretation ... I knew you'd feel touched by her SR, since it's so close to your own ... The reason I focused on the Solar Return is that I was getting TWO messages from her: She wants to get her internet business off the ground AND she wants a bf (being of two minds -- couldn't possibly be a Gemini trait, right?? ... ) There was another, reason, too -- I don't really know how to do a Venus Return ...  But I futzed around on astrodienst and came up with a chart for 2006 that matches her natal Venus down to 1 second ... labor intensive, but the past-life cloistered nun in me enjoys tedium ... Love ... Here's what I came up with: (by the way, I'm assuming we can swap Jupiter in Scorpio with Pluto in Sag ... that puts bof'um in the 5th with Jupiter now trining Saturn in the 1st, right?) ...  |

OH Jamma, TELL ME next time and I will run the return...That's just way too time consuming for you...though it looks spot on. At first glance here, I see that again there is a strong emphasis in the 10th house (business, relationship to the public, the 'public face'. If her internet business has anything to do with Venus (is a Venus ruled activity) It's going to fly. The partnership she may attract seems linked to business, shared recourses and joint finances. Is that possible? Mutual reception, outside of horary charts, show a LINK between the two planets (that may otherwise not be in aspect) but we don't really swap them around. In this chart, there is a close 'receptivity' between Jupiter and Pluto'. With the Sun ruling the Ascendant (her natal 8th) and sextile there, we get a very positive outlook. Saturn rising makes it serious...hard work ahead...commitment. I think she'll have a business partner that shares her values and vision. Again there is something to let go of from the past for her to move forward with an intimate relationship (or am I talking to myself??? how much more can you let go of???) dear jamma,
I don't know if i have anything interesting to add, but i noticed a few things...
1. her natal nn conjuncts the IC of the solar return (2°), and it also conjuncts the DC of the venus return (4°)
2. the moon is conjunct the nn in her venus return, this surely intensifies the daily life, domestic issues, emotional landscape for the return period
3. also, the moon is at the AP -- VERY important according to celeste teal, lots of activity focused outward due to this, manifesting in the life physically
4. this moon/NN conjunction in the 9th falls in her natal 3rd -- ideas, communication, rational thought, these are emphasized...she will be putting her beliefs (9th house) on the line, out there (moon at AP conjunct nn, intensified) in the way she communicates/in her rational mind...?
one thing i've become aware of is that it's very helpful to check the progressed chart in order to see what's active in the consciousness. returns can only say so much, but if venus is active in the progressions and solar arcs it's likely something will be popping up. also, it might be good to look at any progs/SAs of mars, which rules her 7th house.
i know it's not a whole lot, but i hope it helps..

Hello,
I must tell here about my Solar Return, two of them, for the same man (and most important man in my life, altough we are no more together, and we didn't marry).
When I first met him in my middle twenties, I had Venus in 12th, just on AC. There was Neptun in 7th, with good aspects (romantic love or some kind of illusion). But after one year, we had to go away to other countries, and have sepparated.
We were living in one foreign countriy.
As we both have Ruler of 5th (Uranus) in 9th, means, we meet foreigner in one foreign country. That happened more times to him and also to me.
Second time, I came in contact with him, after my birthday, 2002. I found his address (he lives in next country), and wrote to him, to ask for his birthtime, and to tell him, that he was my husband in Past life. I didn't write right his address, but it still came to him, after three weeks. He was divorced, and lived alone, since three years. He was very lucky, to hear about me. He wrote me immidietly, but told me, he doesn't believe in Astrology, and much less in Past life.
I have falled in love again with him. Much more, than in any other man. This time, I didn't look in my Solar Return. After 8 months he has got a job in abroad (free lance), and had to go.
Then, I have looked in Solar Return for 2002, and have seen, that there is my Venus in 1st, opposition Pluto in 7th. Venus in bad aspect with Pluto, means loss of lover, physically or psychically.
And that was true: It was over, August 2003.
I must say. that I believe very much in Solar Return. Not only, because this man, but in common. I read Solar without Natal Chart. Natal chart makes only confusion.
After 2003, I have printed all my Solar Returns, for my past. Venus was never close to Solar AC. Not before, and not after.
But there are other things, I have discovered, because I know my life. I had few times, Mars in conjuction with my IC (in 4th). That was second time, when I met my fiance. What was bad, that Sun from 7th in Natal Chart, was again in 7th, but only with bad aspects. Had I studied then Astrology, I should know, that from all that will be nothing. What happened: I didn't get papers for his country. What I want to say, every time, I had Mars close to IC, there was some man, who wanted to have family with me.
There is much more about Solar, what is very important, and there is one bad aspect in Solar. When there is this aspect, this year will be very bad.

Hello Jamma,
If you study Solar Return, than do it for your friend. Ask her, when she falled in love before, and do Solar for this year. You will see, what is there important, and what not.
I had Solar AC, few years ago in Natal 5th, and nothing happened.
As I was very disappointed with four Astrologers, they do it professionally, and of course, I had to pay it, I have started, to do it myself. I know my life, I know, when something good happened to me, so I have studied myself. Of course, I have book about Solar, but there is nowhere, that if you have Venus conjuct Solar AC, that this year, you will meet some man, very important to you.
When I have relocated, I had one planet in 3rd, conjuct IC, one planet in 4th, conjuct IC. When my ex friend got a job, he had Uranus, conjuct MC, with good aspects.
