Birthday Gifts aside.... ... I found the flowing solar return intriguing, given that it is coming right dead on the March Lunar Eclispse... D's birthday is March 14, his natal sun Pisces 24, Natal NN Virgo 24 and thus natal SS Pisces 24. The first aspect which caught my eye was the tight opposition of the SR Moon to the Natal Sun. First off, The SR Moon is Virgo in the First House. A Virgo Ascendant and a Virgo Moon! Analytical, practical, perfectionist tendencies perhaps meets caring, health-driven and conscientitous. I am not certain how a Virgo Moon plays out in House 1, but I would think Moon in House 1 brings a great deal of intense emotion. The opposition to the Natal Sun, so very tight, suggests to me heady conflict between the his ego's drive/needs (in House 9) and the emotions. I also note that the natal north node is closely conjunct the SR Moon. Unlike his natal chart which has only one fire placement--- Uranus (a singleton like Einstein's whose birthday is also March 14!), the SR has Pluto and Saturn in Fire. The SR Uranus is part of a row of focus starting with Venus in the SR 5, then H6 and & planetary lineups--suggesting a year focused strongly on relationships. The Uranus tightly on the descendant seems to spell sudden changes in both service/health and relationships.

I noted that some people this year, who have these late Piscies birthdays have Eros (433) and Osiris (1923) conjunct the Sun this year. For people who have a strong association with these themes, it could be a year of returning to something one thought was "dead". (at least if these match up with themes in your life) I just pasingly wanted to take a look at a few people who had birthdays on or around this eclipse... and then take a look at the asteroids conjuncting the natal Sun...but being that there will be a larger pull due to the Moon in opposition to your Solar return Sun, it sugests that maybe these bigger themes will be much stronger than the subtle Osiris or Eros conjunctions. Sorry to everyone one that I just keep popping in and out, the themes of my own life are overwhelming this year! Be well and happy solar return anyone else who has a birthday on or around this eclipse. svenskasfinx

Hey everyone!
The first thing I noticed was the SR Moon in 1st on his NNode....so, because this SR occurs during a lunar eclipse...well, I think this would indicate changes with his path of life. Would endings of sort be appropriate to say? Changes with his emotional identity re- homelife ? With 4th house tr Pluto also squaring his NNode in 1st. and n Sun in 7th..would this be correct? The SR Sun lies in 9th....and conjunct the natal S Node...how do we read this? I would think that an eclipse finding itself on the nodal axis is a huge influence! What more does it mean?
Because I am still learning, I am being brave and offering my delineations...so please feel free to correct my process as it comes up!
Hugs- GemStar

Bigno, Gemstar. Well said. Where the SR Moon resides is where 'things fluctuate' and on the horizon line, we are looking at the whole personal 'grand cross'--self vs others, home vs career. I really think we need to read these charts as two separate horoscopes. It's okay to post them like transits, and you do read the SR back to the natal that way, but I find it much easier to 'Grock' when I can see the Ascendant on the Horizon etc. (old dog, perhaps? ) However, as I twist my head around it, I can see his natal 3rd coming to the foreground. Busy year, much coming and going, short trips, communication and perhaps a year of teaching, publishing etc. I see the Moon-Sun opposition as an opportunity for OBJECTIVITY. He can see more clearly now (remember the eclipse as 'window into past and future'?) and can take action that will align his life more authentically. Can anyone comment on SR Saturn in the 12th in the degree of the Node? kim

Thanks Kim. That SR Saturn is actually in the 11th House (?) tight trine to the NN in 7. The role of friends, professional associations/partnerships and connections via that 11/th and 7th house connection seems to take on added importance. Mars is conjunct the MC, aggression, action (aggressive public persona? His natal MC is in Aries and conjuncts my mars and eros interestingly enough) at work but look at the Uranus on the descendant too. I think that passive way in which he seems to handle both work and relationships is about to get a bit of a shake up. When I looked at it separate from the natal it looked to me like a pull and tug between work and heart/home plus Pluto in the 4th opposing Mars in the Midheaven. With Uranus on the descendant and the Pluto in the 4th, it made the happy Venus in 5th surprising to me. Then I see the multiple trines (venus, neptune & chiron) to that spotlight "look at me look at me" Mars in the Midheaven. The Pluto 4th H seems totally stressed with its connections to the Sun and the Moon, not to mention JUNO....

Oh yes, Saturn in the 11th...the old dog needs glasses??? I do read these charts better when the SR is stand alone. Thanks for re-posting it! Pluto isn't stressed...Pluto is quite ENERGY that is quite likely going to rattle some cages though. Remember this Pluto (on the galactic center) has been squaring his Sun/nodes for years (orb)...has he been working with terminal patients?? He's an oncologist, yes? His angles are lit up like an x-mass tree! Does his partner have a child from a previous relationship? Just thinking of ways that Saturn in the 11th!!! in the degree of the node may express. What you said is apt, though something about the link back to the 7th speaks of 'a fifth house crises for a 7th house person that he will be taking responsibility for... His 7th house relationships are going to change big time...and not in a gentle way. (That's not how I would say it to him though !!!I would talk about any patterns or ways of being with others that were keeping him stuck and how shattering those modes of relating would bring more authenticity to his life)...but basically, Tower alert...the shite hits the fan! Oh gosh, I've got to get to uni work. More on this soon. Kim

Thanks Kim. Pretty wild. I am not certain about whether his wife came to the relationship with a child or not. I don't think she did but, you never know..... LOL.... What did you make of that Juno square to Pluto, particularly in light of the Venus placement? Issues of fidelity literally and broadly?
