Here is my Demi-Return which will come full blown in November 2006. The most significant items I can see are: The long string of planets inhabiting the 2nd and 3rd houses and thus the dearth of action in the "outer world". Values reign, what I own, siblings, surroundings ...A small Sag stellium there with Jupiter at 0 Sag. The significance to the natal chart? My Natal Ascendant is Sag 13! In this DR, Venus is rising (! Libra ascendant )and Venus is in Sag here. The synastry with the natal have MC natal conjunct AC demi-return. A detriment moon in my home! Uggh .. 4th house. And something that worries me is that Uranus in 6th. I am a twice cancer surgery survivor and have a round of yearly required scans in the late spring. What's creepy about Nov 25 anyway is that will be the two year anniversary of my last surgery.... Our son starts high school in September so seeing the planets in the 2nd house --I think is related to my pushing up my creativity and production in the stuido to increase family income for his tuition... Does anyone want to say anything about their take on this DR... I need to feel as though I am travelling where I am supposed to be... a question I seem to lately been considering....

Hi BO,
I am pretty clueless when it comes to returns. It is something I would like to learn more about in the near future. But I wanted to comment on Uranus in the 6th. I have a Mars/Uranus conjunction in my 10th house Pisces for my Mars return, and I had the same reaction you have had about Uranus' placement in terms of fear.
I can see why you might be fearful of Uranus in the 6th, but the energy could probably be satisfied with something like regular acupuncture treatments, and/or joining on on-line forum about your particular health issues.
I wish I could take Kim's advise for myself and think through "what does this planetary energy want and need?" Then that conjunction in my Mars return would not bother me so. With natal Moon/Uranus on the MC Leo my history has been to either spearhead genius movements through my work or be disruptive, unreliable and pompous. Then I work like a dog to get everything all steady and things still erupt like mad. I can't seem to own both energies at once. Perhaps we both need to explore the possibilities!
Blessings, Amoroso

Thanks Amoroso. I also just noticed that Uranus actually completes a grand WATER TRINE with the Cancer MC and the Scorpio Mercury (a brain for research baby!). That 10th house is also ruled by Cancer in my Venus return. Since 2nd house can be income related (??)and MC is public stage, it makes me wonder if that Uranus is related to my possible writing/research work with Doc (medical health 6th house) as opposed to me being ill, a nice but innovative sparkish flow facilitated by that trine....but then again look at how tight that NNode is to Mars...grrr...that makes me think again yeah sick and worrying about paying for it...but then maybe not --maybe it's drive and passion for work and my destiny but no!!! its house 2 and 6... As you can see I am making myself beautifully nuts looking at it! lol

Okay, the first think here is to not let the reading of the chart make you feel nutty, sick, worried etc!!! Stop that right now!!!! I think you are honing in on the symbolism in a much too literal way--something that can be quite limiting, especially when reading ones own charts! Step back, take a deep breath and think about what Uranus really means! What does he WANT, NEED and HAVE to OFFER ? How can that relate to in the 6th house of the ‘ways and means by which our WILL is accomplished’? Think of what ties together the health of the body, diet, exercise, employees, servants, pets, gadgets and ritual magic. What is the common thread in the 6th? Why is it ritual order? I'm off to Uni but will be back to see what you have come up with!! Warmly, Kim

blueorchid, *definitely* don't get caught up with thinking Uranus in the 6th is bad... it can signify tremendous liberation and freedom, a departure from what has come before through establishing some new lifestyle choices. last april, uranus made it's first entrance to my natal 6th (before it lapped back for a final pass in the 5th) and I'm telling you, it was FABULOUS!!!! I had a sudden radical change in diet & lifestyle and spent the rest of the year literally *glowing* with vitality and great health! I got into great shape so easily, with hardly any effort, and took in a helluvalotta great new practical, useable information about health. If you've had serious health issues in the past, Uranus in the 6th in your demi-return could simply signify your making some mental, physical, and lifestyle changes that give your health a fabulous boost! samina

Samina and Kim,
It certainly could be an extension of what "explosive" changes I began making in that realm last year. I stopped eating beef entirely, then introduced the family to basically a vegetarian lifestyle. In January I got back to walking and running and working out five days a week. I would say I am completely moving to the best shape of my life since my 20s, and yes much of it has taken on a ritual quality... Seeing virtually all the planets clustered in 2/3/4th with the NN in service H6 sort of makes me think --well carry on smartly than..with energy of course...
