Well, Saturn at 0 Leo is exactly conjunct my natal Uranus/Moon conjunction. I have been "feeling" the oncoming Saturn transit though Leo for while now, discussed on this thread a bit.
What is interesting about this transit on this conjunction is that I think Saturn has had a bit of a settling effect on the rather unpredicatable Moon/Uranus. Since my Moon/Uranus is in a wide opposition to my Chiron/Eros, I am feeling this transit as a "settling" into my body, less anxious (I have anxiety disorder and take a smal dose of medication for it.) True to Saturn's form, one reaps what one sows. So all the life style changes of diet and exercise over the past year have contributed mightily to this.
Another interesting thing is that we had to buy a new home computer. (Moon/Uranus) The old one simply went bizerk. We have three home computers that are all networked, so this was a major undertaking of time and finances.
Another effect of this transit is that my amazing 12 year old daughter asked for counseling. Now that I am well, she felt safe enough to express her needs, and I knew that she had some issues around a mother who was in surgery or depressed most of her life. It has been a most healing thing for our whole family.
This transit is amazing.
More later, I am sure! Amoroso

Hello all!
I just had a look into my progressions, I have Progressed Mars into Leo at about 1 degree.. and coming up now my Progressed Moon has moved into Aquarious.. with transiting Saturn in opposition.
I get the feeling I'm going to be in the middle of things trying to ballance these feelings but at the same time.. keep them totally under control.. (seeing that transiting Saturn could provide an opportunity for growth via "repression" or self control, perhaps discipline)
Do you think Saturn will frustrate Progressed Mars in the First house (still) as a whole..as a working theme.. or will it dim the fire of Mars?
Same thing with the Progressed Moon.. I have read its a hard time emotionally for most people when the Progressed Moon is under close aspect to transiting Saturn... how true does this hold?
Could this become an opportunity for hard exersize (getting back into training again)?
Progressed Moon opposite Mars just Now from Progressed First to 7th house... once again.. a similar theme I see in the "Venus return" chart.
Anyone else have a take on this?
Just curious,
thanks for you time, and best wishes Amoroso about the Singing Part (I only recently read that)

Dear Svensaksfinx,
I have been meaning to comment on the Saturn-Mars aspect because I think I have some recently acquired insights on this combo.
I have a natal Saturn/Mars square. Liz Greene would say that this energy contributes to one's "inner animus" and I am amazed to realize that my husband has Saturn/Mars conjunct, C has Saturn/Mars trine and my dad had Saturn square Mars, so there you have it.
I think, until recently, I may have experienced this energy as quite out of balance: very repressive, very restricting, very discouraging even, condemning, in the midst of great love. As my Mars has increased in healthy expression, it can partner with Saturn more as "a wise partner" than as a partner always reining in and discouraging.
I think the discipline of exercise is certainly a great outlet for Mars/Saturn, (and I have finally harnessed this, too--I remember in college I exercised very regularly and did not experience the Mars/Saturn energy as restrictive nearly as much back then, )but meditate upon your inner animus and see if Mars/Saturn may also be expressing as some of the restrictive environment you have expressed on the forum now and again.
Does any of this make sense?
Blessings, Amoroso

Blessings, Amoroso Dear Amoroso, Thanks for the thoughts and ideas, you remind me of something when you mentioned the contact between Saturn by Transit and my Progressed Mars--- My natal chart shows my Mars is Quintile Saturn in my Natal Chart. Progressions and Transits can't do much if the indication is not there in the Natal... but there it is.. Not only that but my Natal Mars is the Midpoint for Saturn/Pluto and Vesta/Pluto.. all of which have a quintile aspect.. I seriously don't doubt that there is alot of repression when dealing with Saturn and Mars contacts because Saturn wants to react to things in a different way than Mars...but being that Mars in a woman's chart may signify men in her life.. I would have to say I noticed alreay I have a strong attraction towards "Saturn" types.. (I take into account Saturn and Chiron conjunction in Johan's chart opposite my Uranus combination!) Someone seems to has to take up the slack...I'd naturally prefer if it were someone else but often it never is. In the end though if we think of energies as just either/or.. that too gets old fast. I figure from what someone said, and it stuck with me.. if it were all black and white, it sadly isn't very creative.. there are shades of gray within those various of expressions when dealing with energies of other people.. we can always say, "if one doesn't express it than, the other will"..What happens when no one does? What happens if we REFUSE? I just found out.. someone else tries to step in.. wether it be a mother in law or a close friend... must sleep now.. take care and enjoy Saturn into Leo. svenskasfinx

If a picture is worth a thousand words, picture these transits right now!
Transiting Saturn at 7 Leo is square transiting Venus at 6 Scorpio.
My first name asteroid is transiting with Saturn right now.
Transiting Saturn is semi-sextile my natal Venus at 6 Cancer. All hell broke loose with finances this week. (Saturn ensures you reap what you sow....however unintentionally.) Interesting that transiting Saturn is exactly trine my husband and my composite Sun/Mercury in the 8th house!!!! (joint assets and communcating about them.)
Saturn is also square my Draconic Psyche at 6 Scorpio and is directly conjunct C's last name in my natal chart. It is time to let go of this relationship that has taken so much of my psychic space and make room for my family and husband. A bit hard, but I am ready for it.
This is echoed in my progressed chart, as my progressed sun has been stationed directly on his name asteroid all year. My progressed NN , AC/DC and Vesta are all in some direct aspect to this Saturn/Venus square.
A bumpy week, to say the least.
