Would an opposition between Eros and another's ascendant be legit at about a two degree orb, or does only a one degree orb count? If it counts, what does it mean?
My eros is two degrees from my SN;is this considered a conjunction? My natal Eros is exactly squared my ascendent. Does this mean anything?
My Eros is exactly square another person's Uranus. Does this have an effect? If his ascendent is 5 degrees Gemini, and my NN is 1 degreeGemini, is this too loose to cause an effect?
I just realized this guy's Nessus is at 29 degrees of Taurus and is conjunct my NN at 1 degree Gemini. Does this signify an abusive relationship, maybe Karmic?
Thanks.

Hi Moondance7,
I would 'count' all the aspects your describe, yes. They are all within a close orb for synastry and natal contacts.
I can't delineate them all for you right now, but you can probably find much info in the archives of my Eros transit pages and Eros pages, and here on this forum. My Eros Reports go into these details. I'll post some excerpts for you soon.
I wouldn't consider any aspect to signify an abusive relationship necessarily. I don’t think it works that way. Aspects describe energy and it is neither good nor bad but simply energy! There are many ways for us to ‘act out’ our scripts with other people. I don’t think there is an aspect that means ‘abuse’ per say because ‘abuse’ is just one way intense energy can exchange between people.
Does that make sense?
29 Taurus was depicted by the ancients as a place of 'weeping' however, though I have not found it to necessarily be so. Usually planets conjunct our NN by synastry represent an energy that boosts us forward into new directions. Being around those people stimulate us to try new things and develop ourselves in new ways.
I'll come back to this thread with some links. I know there is a recent rave about Eros/Uranus in the archives.
Can others contribute as well how they find these Eros contacts in synastry?
Warmly, Kim
