Hello everyone! As I am new in here I just want to say great thanks to all the people from whom I gathered so many useful and interesting information here on this forum! As I am not a native english speaker, please forgive me in advance if Im not quite clear in my question that follows. I recently met a guy who has totally blown my world..nothing similar ever happened to me and I really need some information about our synastry. His eros conjuncts my sun His psyche conjuncts my lilith, and my lilith conjunct his psyche His cupid conjuncts my mars My cupid conjunct his moon His venus conjunct my pluto.. As we can't often see each other and we just met i just wanted to know whether all these little heavenly bodies will bring us some "close encounters" cause what ive felt when me met was more than fireworks in its peak!!! I just want to know whether he's as much attracted to me as I am to him! I am very thankful for all your replies! Thanks thanks thanks, and kisses kisses kisses to you all!

Hello Castlegirl,
Welcome to the forum!
You will find a lot of informationon the contacts that you list within the pages of this forum. You can search the google search below and you can use the forum search. We try to keep on topic but sometimes threads, like conversations, wander! It's worth looking through these past discussion to gain insights into these synastry combinations.
Meanwhile, here is an excerpt from my Eros book to get you started with Sun Eros. We can unravel the others as we go...perhaps starting new threads for each contact (so they can be searched in the future!).
Eros in Synastry Aspect with the Sun
Love is like the sun: it has its inner energy source that shines on you.-- Helene Lagerberg
When Eros and the Sun meet in the synastry, sparks can fly and egos ignite. There is a sense of competitiveness, ambition and demand that may or may not sit well with the merging attributed of the god of love. The Sun wants to define itself as a unique and singular individual; Eros wants to define itself through merging and union with another.
Sometimes the contact between the Sun and Eros in two separate charts can help one or both individuals become more conscious of their potent erotic side. It may put the spotlight on intimacy making it an important part of the mutual rapport.
Conversely, Sun/Eros contacts can make the individuals split into a dynamic of yeah and neigh. One person may want very much to experience Eros and the merging of energy it implies. The other may find this invasive and pull further and further back into a defense of distinction, autonomy and rational clarity.
The squares, conjunctions, oppositions and inconjuncts tend to reflect more disparity between the individuals where the trines and sextiles can be more likely to indicate affinity and merging. Either way, the relationship is bound to have some sense of competitiveness. This may be highly creative, especially if the couple is willing to use the inherent stimulus to find clarity and distinction in all their creative pursuits together.
The sign, aspects and house position of each person’s Sun and Eros need consideration before coming to any conclusions about this contact. If one person’s Sun is conjunct Saturn and the other persons Eros is opposite Pluto, the contact will be quite different than if the Sun was conjunct Jupiter and Eros opposite Venus. This is not to say it would be better or even easier. It would simply be different.
When Eros touches the Sun, the energy of both the Sun and Eros awaken between the two people involved and they will want to expend this abundant energy in some way. Joint creative projects and mutual activities are possible and lacking those, the couple may clash or simply find they have little energy for each other. The Sun tends to do nothing by halves and, when stimulated, needs somewhere to shine. If the stage is big enough, Sun/Eros may shine in unison although probably not without mutual effort, goals and a mature sense of integrity.
Who can contribute a personal experience here? Has anyone had this contact by synastry (natal or progression) lately?
Keep in mind that the synastry comparison tells us something about what is waking up when you are in contact with each other...weather either individual is conscious or unconscious of the energy is not so evident. If you want to know how attracted he feels, you'll need to ask!
Warmly, Kim

Thanks ever so much dear Kim! I am in love with astrology for almost 10 years, and unlike most of the other things that I soon discover to be boring (blame my gemini sun for that lol), astrology always seems to light up a spark in me! Its like a big folded manuscript that I slowly keep unfolding and every new thing I discover makes me love it more and want to know more about it! The most interesting, most intrigueing, and most rewarding puzzle that I've ever "played" with in my life ! Regarding my questions, I found many interesting topics here and since at this moment, the asteroids and their influence in synastry are taking all my atention, I wanted to know more about it. I must tell you that your reply was so helpful, and so very true about sun and eros (though I don't know how I missed to notice that not only mu sun is conjunct mr.'s eros, but my eros stands exactly opposite his sun lol). We met 3 times..first time after we looked at each other I honesty thought-Am I dreaming or this man in front of me is the real man that just come out of my dreams?! When the conversation started I couldn't believe that I can for the first time be my real self..polite and kind and sensitive and poetic without any fear that i'll be hurt or misunderstood (you know in everyday life when you meet someone you always put a little mask or a shield and try to be as "normal" and "usual" lol as you can). But with this man no..it was like the meeting from a fairy tale..the knight and the dame in the castle seeing in each other's eyes the biggest love of their lifes..he was the same as me..sensitive poetic kind and I really thought I would faint lol. He's the most sensitive and lovely and warm-hearted man I've ever met. But..lol..there's always but..on our 2nd meeting it was like we tried to keep away from each other as much as we could lol! We were both obviously running from each other as if some disaster would happen if we started to talk again...and so was our 3 meeting..a bit better but still totally different from the first night. I know what happened to me ..i got totally scared after the first night and he will definitely have to move the mountains to get us on the same track..but from what I see and feel, he thinks the same (that I will have to make the move), so before anything started, we got to the end lol! Oh I hope it won't be that way (though I can't help but make fun about it), but I think our mutual Eros/Sun conjunction and opposition played their part in here! We hardly met and there's already so much energy of competitiveness between us!For no "obvious" reason! Crazy! Honestly, I found something about plutonian energy on this forum, and though some people were reluctant in calling pluto fateful or "determined", I must tell you that it is just like that in my case..all my life the love (or any relationship ) has been a battlefield in which my main focus was how to gain power over someone, and my main fear to lose it..there were thousand times when I could change the situation by simple SORRY, and thousand times when I tried to pronounce it, but no...no way..it felt like if I said it I would lose everything..like I would lose some kind of spell I have over people...strange and terrifying, but it's been like that forever, and though Ive tried to change it so many times, it never worked. It just seem that that strong energy of pluto has a power over people...well though this is a synastry forum it would be nice if someone could share with me how they handle the plutonian energy... God..it's 3 in the morning, and this post is so long it might occupy 3 pages lol (sorry for that), so I'll go with a hope that I'll soon get some replies on the pluto but also on those asteroids that I mentioned above that connect or disconnect me and my mr. lol Thanks so much again Kim, you have so much knowledge about this all, and I'm really thankful you're sharing it here.

Hi Castlegirl, You are most welcome--and thank you for your expressions here. I have one more week immersed in academia then I'm up for air this summer. I'll post my thoughts on Pluto in synastry soon! Warm wishes, Kim

castlegirl, the man I'm currently involved with has his Sun on my Eros. And he's gotten fabulously under my skin. I tend to be hard to hook, but he seems to intuitively know the right buttons to push & notes to play. I haven't experienced a competitive thing between us, but definitely a strong sense of play & vitality. The connection is very compelling. I've tried to shuck it off a couple times, sort of downplaying it, but I keep getting happily reeled back in. LOL My two cents on Eros/Sun contact. My weather report on this one is "sunny"! Sami

Dear Kim and Samina,
Thank you both for your replies!
Kim, I hope you will soon have more time to share your immense knowledge with us here on the forum, and I wish you all the best at academia!
Samina, I am so happy that your relationship with Eros man is great...you probably got the best of energies from both sides and that's why it feels fulfilling..unfortunately me and my eros man have nothing to be proud of lol...we never talked again, and even became a sort of "disguised enemies" lol..who knows why it happened..? i know that there are several things in our horoscope that could be the reason for that but somehow I tend to think that its my sun conjunction south node that makes all conjunctions to that point "negatively received"...i don't know but i must tell you that, strangely, i dont feel discouraged by our "failed encounters" lol...im intrigued and i feel like im waiting to something big to happen...like a quiet before the storm..

Hi there -- i'm new to the forum but thought i could contribute to this thread straight away!
My current partner and I share some pretty tight eros synastry -- her eros is in very tight (less than half a degree) conjunction with my sun in aquarius; my eros is in fairly tight (a degree and a half) conjunction with her mars in capricorn (and she's an aries sun), tight conjunction (a degree) with her nepture in capricorn and fairly close opposition (3 and a half degrees) with her moon in cancer.
in the midpoint composite, we have eros in capricorn tightly conjunct saturn and the MC in the 10th house, sextiling venus and sun at the end of the 11th/early 12th
i am still trying to figure out what the eros issues are -- but i would like to point out the difficulty in getting the energies distinct from, as well as connected to, venus and mars. synastry wise, my partner and i also have strong venus and mars aspects:
my jupiter is very tightly (less than a quarter of a degree) conjunct her venus in taurus; our venuses are also in close trine (less than 3 degrees) with each other; her venus is in tight (less than half a degree) trine with my pluto; her mars is widely (5-7 degrees) trine my uranus, pluto, and jupiter (and with her venus) her mars is in very wide conjunction (ie:10 degrees) with my venus and mercury in capricorn
in the midpoint composite, mars and venus are tightly (one degree) trine - and both mars and venus are widely (5 degrees or so) sextile saturn/eros/midheaven conjunction
we have an intense but also comfortable connection, which is erotically charged but with some distancing as well. there are is large difference in our ages, which was a problem at first but is not now as much of an issue (perhaps helped along by the jupiter-venus conjunction!)
birth data: me -- jan 27 1965; 3:16PM; York UK her -- apr 16 1986; 2:20AM; Belfast UK
thoughts appreciated
Dru

On a lighter note. Jude Law's sun is exactly conjunct my eros. I can say, I'd definately like to merge with him .. (ifyaknowhatImean.)
