BlueOrchids,
I've been so flooded with work I hardly have time to engage with the forum--the next few weeks don't look like they will offer much reprieve.
But I couldn't resist putting some info up here--because the 12th-6th house axis is so often misunderstood...or just not understood at all!
If I had to form one sentence around this placement, it would be
"This relationship has the potential to work with those less fortunate, bringing practical solutions to the needs of the collective." Here are some excerpts from Astrology & Aptitude. Perhaps you can find articles or insights to add?
Warmly,
Kim
The twelfth house traditionally represents our dark and secret
hiding places. It is a locale where boundaries blur and forms melt
and merge and transfigure. Things are not always what they seem in
the twelfth. They are at times confused and painful, yet they also
can lead to initiation and understanding.

On a mundane level, this house rules the unconscious mind, the
collective unconscious, hospitals and institutions (where people
are treated collectively) and charity, given or received. Traditionally,
it is said that planets here must serve or suffer.21 It is a certainty
that with any planets in the twelfth house, the native needs to
spend some time alone in a sanctuary of his or her making.
The twelfth house also represents a melting down of ego boundaries,
a merging with the divine, a loss of specific and personal
identity. Not everyone is going to enjoy this experience. Consider
the placement of the Sun in Aries in the twelfth in contrast to the
Moon in Pisces in the twelfth. Which one is going to feel more at
home?
Everything that operates in this house is under the surface, behind
the scenes. It represents things that are below our conscious
awareness, yet important in terms of how they direct our choices,
goals and desires. (Planets here can significantly influence the
character of the native’s career, mission or profession.) When planets
falling in the twelfth house ask, Where am I?, the answer is, I am
in my mystique.
North Node in Virgo, South Node in Pisces: With the North
Node here, it is time to develop discernment by looking at the finer
details of life. Things must be taken down to their component parts,
examined, compared and contrasted. Ritual order and service
brings growth by making decisions based on conscious understanding.
With the South Node in Pisces, the past may have been a bit of a
mixed swirl of feelings and impressions. The tendency could be to
retreat into a feeling of chaos through any and all forms of escapism.
It is like a disappearing act. The pull of the North Node encourages
the individual to come back to the mundane world through
conscious activities, work and service.
North Node in the Twelfth House, South Node in the Sixth
House: The North Node in the twelfth house suggests the need to
melt down boundaries and discover the connective nature of all life
through empathy, compassion and service. The South Node in the
sixth house could have been critical and overly pragmatic in the
past. Now the native can best develop himself or herself through
opening up to something greater than what is found in the mundane.
