Hi there! I have noticed something interesting with the Composites I share with two men. There is an unaspected Saturn in one and an unaspected Uranus in the other. **I define aspects as the major ones contacting planets only in this case.** The first appeals to the earth in me, particularly the Capricorn, and the other appeals to the air, particularly Aquarius. Ironically, the men's individual charts would suggest the complete opposite. The second man is mostly water and the first mostly air. What takes precedence as both are important? There is information out there about what this means in the natal chart as shown at www.astrologyclub.org However, as the Composite represents how the world sees the couple, would this indicate the same sort of disturbance in terms of integration? And what of the least-aspected, most-aspected interpretations? How might they apply and who in this forum has any of the above (unaspected, least, most) with someone? Thanks!

Hi Edirbyrreg, (if I ever spell your name wrong it's because I can't quite pronounce it in my head!) To answer the first question re unaspected planets in the composite chart, we have to be very clear on WHAT the composite chart is. It's not the same as synastry between the two people. It's not about what they may or may not activate or 'do' to each other. It is the chart of the relationship. A third entity. It is a literal map of what happens when the two individuals relate to each other--in any way (business, parent-child, Dr. - patient, partners, lovers, enemies, competitors, co-workers). What is the ENERGY created by the relationship of the two individuals. The composite chart describes it. With that in mind, an unaspected Saturn in a comp chart could mean that the relationship is not easily in touch with what gives is a form or structure--a grounding. Together as a couple, the practical side of life may be difficult, at first, to mauver through. This may not be much of a glitch for lovers though you can see the potential problems in a business partnership! Unaspected planets tend to 'act' out of synch with the rest of the chart. It can seem like energy coming from the outside. If it were in the 4th house, an unaspected comp Saturn could manifest as family members pressuring a couple to marry when they feel quite happy being 'loose and uncommitted'. Do you see how this might work? An unaspected Uranus could manifest as almost the opposite! Here the urge to keep things fresh, new, innovative and unfettered may not mesh easily in the relationship. Perhaps every time they go to settle down, commit and become very pragmatic, something tips over the apple cart! Who has had this experience with unaspected outer planets? Kim PS I do use lesser aspects in composite charts and find they show HOW the energy moves within the relationship. (not the individuals)
