Hi astrolover, If you scroll down on the asteroid board, you will see threads that discuss Amor. erosastrology.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=asteroid&action=display&thread=1165330261Also, if you run a search first, you can ask your question on a thread that is already discussing the asteroid. Have a look around and then see if you can come up with some ideas for your natal Amor falling into your partners 7th house (is that the correct synastry aspect?) I'll come back to this soon and see what you've come up with. Remember, people are like permanent transits. What would he feel like if he had Amor transiting his 7th ALL the time? (all the time you are around). How does this relate to other planets you might have in his 7th or contacting his 7th house ruler? Thanks for your post. Kim

Thank you Kim for responding to my post!
Also thank you for the link you provided!
I've come to the conclusion that since amor is the planet of unconditional love that the person with their amor in the other persons 7th will love the 7th house person unconditionally!
What do you think kim?

Hi astrolover. Since Amor is also about how one loves "unconditionally" it can also involve the need to learn how to love unconditionally while setting and respecting boundaries. If this is an issue will be shown by the nature/sign and the aspects to and from it. The "hard aspects will show this possibility, the planet and house will show what and where.
My amor is at critical 13Aries in the 9th and is the midpoint of Jupiter and Mars. This is my "crisis point since it is the point where my cup overflows. Jupiter and Mars are both exalted and sitting in the 12th and 5th houses, both connected to love, spiritual and physical. Amor is trine ascendand, sextile descendant by 4 degrees. This shows that I love unconditionally and generously. It shows also, that my partner/desc. and all I interact with on a one on one basis, has the opportunity to experience that. Being the crisis point, though, brings me to the fact that it is also square my nodes in Cancer/Capricorn. These signs are clearly about balancing necessary limits with unconditional loving nurturing. I have had to learn that loving unconditionally does not include being subservient and getting beat up or disrespected in any way. I honor my necessary boundaries now and let others now when they are stepping over the line.

I've got my Amor conjunct the Vertex in Cancer in the 8th house. I've definately had to learn boundaries and how to respect my own personal emotions while in relationships with others I've cared about. Especially in the more intimate settings, it's still a challenge for me to "open up".

This is sooo interesting!
What do you all think of venus conjunct amor and Jupiter conjunct amor in the synastry chart?

Just browsing thru old posts this one caught my eye, and I checked Amor in my chart and that of my partner's and found that his Amor is conjunct our composite decendant, and mine is conjunct our composite MC..... the very concrete basis of our relationship is Amor-driven.... and yes, unconditional love is what it's about :-)
