When Sat went over my 12Leo Sun in 3 recently I felt mega frustrated by circumstances and changed them Phone did not ring and I had little to say to anyone either Leaden weight on my energy and emotions There was an unaccustomed ability to finish what I started and organise my life Still a bit like that but improving..... My friend Ant with 12 Mars Pluto Saturn Leo was tetchy but it did not seem to exacerbate his heart problems happily Left side is females in your life and right side is men in your life including your own m and f sides If you have a pain anywhere you can often identify someone who has upset you that day but you did not speak up out of politemess or timidiity or cos it was unfair to be annoyed The body seems to demand absolute authenticity moment to momemt There's various ways to clear the pain Being honest to yourself is the start Just thought maybe yoga and tai chi etc are a kind of physical confessional that clears these things too I suspect that Saturn, moving through my natal 3rd house ALSO kept me quiet- if you can believe it! It is now moving out of conjunction off of my Progressed Sun/Mercury... and for a moment I must say, its suddenly become easier to communicate. With Saturn passing over my 1st house, I really didn't notice its effect other than perhaps the weight loss and disciplined activities in the middle of taking care of my son, however I did get very sick with mengitis at about the time that Saturn did move over my Venus, if I'm not mistaken...looking at the photos I looked much older than I do now as well, weird. But As far as my Saturn return goes, (I have it in Aries in the 11th house) and it was really the best point in my life, I met the love of my life and moved to Sweden just as transiting Saturn was making its last pass over my natal Saturn- and I can't believe how "lucky" I felt, even then, which is quite the reverse of my Jupier return 2004- where I felt like I was never going to be well- although quite optimistic and energetic. How ever did I get by? Oh well got to be off! svenskasfinx

Juliet, Just zipping in to have a read of everything and make a few comments. In your post, #27, you asked if the DC was such an important position for health. The way I read health explicitly in the chart it is! I see the sign on each house representing aspects of the body, so that if the ovaries are giving trouble, I would look to Venus and to what house was ruled by Scorpio (in this case the 7th). If the problem was headaches, I'd look to where Aries resides. That would be the area of life where Aries needs to 'be the boss'. If we can't be self-directing in our Aries house, we might suffer from headaches. The energy of Aries has to manifest somewhere and if it can't express outwardly, it comes out through the body. Does that make sense? I wrote a whole book on this technique, called Vital Signs. If you are interested in any specific house/symptom combo, let me know. Blessings, and hope your leg is healing! Kim PS…Oh, well, as an example, the hip and thigh is Sag, knee Capricorn and shin/ankle Aquarius. Look to the house that contains the sign of the area that is injured, and probably Mars too for the Bruising and the violent nature of the accident. Then we unravel what ‘frustrated’ energy burst out as injury to the body. What is a more creative (and less painful) way for it to express???

Kim, Yeah, I know about the rulerships of parts of the body... I did not read properly, I guess. My knees are bad since the accidents on the 24th and the 28th. Knees are Cap. Moon and AC conjunct in Cap. Feeling in my right leg are gone, I'd already noticed the strength of the right leg muscles was waning before the accident. I believe that made me unable to step out when my brakes gave in. I had to climb a lot of stairs at the festival and had to literally drag my right leg up, which worried me. No pain at all. At the day of the first accident, Mars was on Mars-Mercury midpoint in 8. The accident made me feel helpless, and helplessness always gets me mad, and the dreams about me wanting to ride my big tractor over R started then. Also, I felt weird because I had met P. Definitely out of balance, though joyfully so.
I had not written it here yet, but I also hurt my left knee when I slipped in my bath on the 4th. So both knees are hurting now. I also tripped over my friends bike when walking next to her and hurt my right ankle that day!!!!!!!! Mars is in exaltation in Cap. Marsy Moon/AC in Cap wants to perform in work, is ambitious, needs big projects. I feel I'm honouring that energy by having made detailed plans about everything I want to change in my home, (and workwise) basically all I could do while resting at home. But no one sees what I do! Which Cap AC needs! Recognition.
I received recognition for my work at the festival, but also had a big conflict with a girl there. Let's say our Mars/Mercuries crashed heads on! I'd been very annoyed there were no detailed descriptions or task plans (hope you guys get what I mean here) which are vital to such a big event. When in my own theatre, I even made them for two hours of performances, with all responsibilities (and persons involved) described. There are always emergencies in such cases, and no one had cellphone numbers, and rules about the hundreds of guests had still to be invented along the evening. I am flexible and experienced enough to solve problems along the road, but it cost me a lot of energy. Also, complaining about problems does not solve anything, I just had to deal with them, improvise, which I'm good at, which I actually love.
Maybe I should post a chart of the first accident in the horary section, to find clues about the underlying problem. AC of the accident is 22 Cap, R's Sun. Moon on my Sun. I feel the accident has more to do with intimacy issues then with anything else. I botched things with P, made a date with him for yesterday (he liked that) and then canceled it because I was so nervous. Haven't heard from him since.
Oh, that detriment Moon in Cap. I just cannot let a guy know I like him, always play the cool one. Which I'm not at all. Letting a guy know I like him gives me the feeling I'm surrendering, falling into a black hole. Mars: got to be in charge which is not gratifying, obsolete and destructive.
Big sigh. Juliet

Kim I can relate to the Aries headaches when it is frustrated I used to get headaches whenever I had to attend the meetings at work Used to go home Put it down to shyness I have always had Aries is in 11th but I have always been much too shy to have much clout in groups But I ended up running the meetings within 2 years and no headaches I am now comfortable running therapies training groups {I have no planets on the top of the chart and Saturn in Cancer in 3 as well as Sun and Pluto at end of 3]
Juliet I am sure people do look older when Saturn is passing thro 1st I have noticed it so often Looks seem to become a low priority and skin and hair lose it for a bit One seems to lose whatever style one has and do amateur bag lady Then Saturn moves on and you perk up and look great again but maybe move into a slightly more mature version of wonderful than before...... when my elderly aunt went thro it she went from wrecked and thin looking to wonderful healthy silver haired matron over this transit

Hi Ana, Saturn is making a four year transit through my seventh now!! Everything fits. Feel a whole lot better now, had a good cry, released a lot of tension. With Venus in Libra, square Moon/AC it is virtually impossible to me to not make an effort looks-wise... But when I am ill, my curls take off for a while...
You know what was great for attractiveness: Uranus through 1!

Anna Said: I think for me, after my own Saturn 1st House transit I was "transformed" into a Mother rather than an Old girl; less muscle mass though (Saturn transiting Mars in the first).. but yes, priorities were different..less emphisis on "hair and make up" Juliet Said: I guess I have to wait some odd years to see that one in progress.. probably by the time I'm about 100 I will see it happen .. Saturn transiting though the 7th house (I've been there) plus when it went over my DSC it was conjunct Uranus back in 1988-89- with Neptune transiting my 7th as well.. What a time! Juliet- Does that mean Pluto will soon be transiting your 1st House? How do you interpret that? I hope you are feeling much better in anycase and that everything falls properly into place for you, even if relationships between people seem difficult (Saturn in the 7th sometimes makes you have to face up to relationships.. but when it was transiting my 7th it was also conjunct some rather different planetary energies, so it wasn't pure Saturn as much as it was "Pure confusion" I was running about like the "Push-me-pull-you" as in Doctor Dolittle..) I suppose Saturn helps you find out exactly where you stand when not totally mixed up. ...Anyone have Pluto transit their ASC? I'm just wondering what to expect with it transiting my DSC.. I seriously think it couldn't be as much of a hardship as having the 3 heavy weights transiting my DSC back between the years 1987-1989, however it does seem to be taking longer considerablely longer... take care all, Svensksasfinx

Svensksafinx Pluto is still lurking in my 7th but at the height of it I became friends with people with Pluto rising and people with it transiting their 1st house and powerful charismatic people and healers by the cartload And a mild power struggle relationship but I have too much of a sense of humour to get too caught up in that - get the giggles at the height of the drama All that seems to be passing off Don't know whether I am pleased or not....... My parents also passed over during this time at a good age All this altho I was living 8 hours ahead of my birth place

Ach, is that what's going on? Since Saturn hit my Asc/Moon I've been feeling like I look old - bags under my eyes don't help! And here I am at 48 still trying to date and meet someone - not a good thing to look old. I wouldn't say I've let the looks go, though. In fact I just bought new skin care regime to try to counteract that. But I'm feeling a bit worn down right now. With Saturn going forward then returning to station on my Moon next spring I guess I'm really in for it.
Seems to me it doesn't have to be that way. Anyone have a better metaphor/symbol of Saturn's gifts in this position? Kim?

I'd imagine discipline and structure in taking care of self and the mask and other AC issues. Saturn usually causes a crisis in selfconfidence in the area designated by the house involved. Since Saturn is about persisting, developing confidence independent of how one looks maybe, which paradoxically makes one more attractive. Great for your face: www.supermodelsecret.com/Rev%20Up%20Skintone.htmIt works! x

Juliet - Thanks for the link! I frequently do some jaw stretching while driving (I get tight jaws - wonder why!!), but I think I should add those nice facial exercises as well. It might also have the added benefit of giving a good laugh to my fellow commuters. :-)

I am sorry if I have depressed those around a Saturn 1st transit It is also a time of maturing generally and another layer of learning not to judge yourself comes off over this transit I think What is great is the regeneration that occurs You are aware of looking older and learn to cope with that but while you are not looking it passes and you become this new revamped slightly more mature version that is more attractive than iyou could not have believed possible and the compliments start coming in about the improvement [You will not have this happen if you keep buying large slabs of chocolate to cheer yourself up.....] That reminds me It is a good time to keep an eye on your dental health too Incidentally I have decided recently to stop hair dyes and face being a partially grey crone and get a seat on the bus I put this down to Saturn going over my Sun My daughter reckons it looks much nicer And the hair is stronger undyed This was partly brought on by watching my elegant slender long- white haired 70yr old friend fall for a 60yr old visiting genius speaker and dye her hair blonde which did not suit her and hang around him looking coy Then he turned up for next year's tour with the inevitable 35yr old female genius in tow and she was crushed. Also one day my Aboriginal friend and I were walking in the bush and met one of her many elder "aunties " who had long long grey hair and we both decided it looksed beautiiful like Indian women and we wanted to do the same when we were grey Also I stopped wearing a bra [36B] for the second time and after a month or so they seemed to adjust and look normal I wear thicker sleeveless tops or put waistcoats over and enjoy the freedom Not sure if that is Saturn too I want to be gloriously the age I am and attract someone who can enjoy that That is the theory anyway I reserve the right to chicken out and go back to trying to looks 45

Well, with my 35F/H I started wearing a bra during sleep too last summer! Feels much more comfortable. I'll have Saturn transiting the first by the time I'm 60, (now just turned 49) and the way my mom ages, plus my Moon/AC in Cap makes me very optimistic... Grey hair does not suit my face, makes me appear totally worn out and sick, although I am very very dark, my skin coloured. You know those women who can have fiery red lipstick, and white hair actually flatters them immensely... Colour on my lips does not suit me at all, not even when I was in my twenties, I'm the natural deep autumn type. I threw all misfit clothes out yesterday. Now I don't even have to look or fit, cause only 'right' colours and fabrics and fits could stay! Sven, same experience here!!! I had my Jupiter return in 2005, and work, health, finances, everything collapsed, even though I had a feeling of optimism.... And 3rd, doing those exercises while driving could be hazardous to you, they really need attention, concentration and sometimes your hands, or closing your eyes... ;D My skin also profited a lot, my jaw is a lot firmer, double chin gone, and I believe I started six weeks ago.

I'm sitting here with lower back pain for no good reason, along with Leo rising, in full agreement. If we do our 1st house it won't have to do us. The ascendant is said to be the mask we are given for the Sun to shine through. This is obvious with Leo rising. So how to use Leo with Pluto close by to allow a 2nd house Virgo Sun to shine fully? And how have I not been doing that? Well I'm without income. My husband's co-workers druel over the lunches he brings in so I've told him I will provide my service (can't legally sell food without a licienced kitchen) to make a few bucks. I haven't even fed that many of them but I've noticed my arms and lower back have increased symptoms. Hmmm. I have a lower back injury, that was initiated on sept 12 2002, I am a Leo Sun with a Gemini Rising. At the time of my injury, I had Saturn Conjunct my Ascendent, and Saturn Sextile my Chiron. It was 2 years later when I had my Saturn return, at the same degree when I had my injury, good old Saturn? ?? My Birth Chart is 30/07/75 4:50Am Hope this helps, if not please contact me.......

I had my Jupiter return in 2005, and work, health, finances, everything collapsed, even though I had a feeling of optimism.... I get the feeling, the hope of Jupiter allows people to "carry on" inspite of the hardships, and they for us probably have been as many as the gift of optimism can bare! Thanks for posting those exersizes for the face, I've never really had a great jaw line, but perhaps a work out from my jaw to chin could do me just as much good: Under this recent week I've been to a free power yoga course, and have decided to see if I could keep up with it once a week, just to try to expand my lung capacity and gently bring myself back up to my normal pace in life, but you know what they say "illness is just a way for the body to tell you "slow down, enjoy life""- and sometimes inspite of the hardship of "slowing down" maybe I need to work on some patience to try to enjoying a slower pace..after all, we all get stripped down to our bare essencials in the end, how we use our energies (because energy is ALWAYS a limited thing) is just as important as not wasting them. (Spoken like a true Saturn in Aries ) Take care everyone! svenskasfinx

A funny side story on jaw exercises--I just turned 50 and am blessed to have absolutely no wrinkles in my face and a firm cheekbone area. It could be that Gemini Sun/Mercury--but I don't think so, because they are in the 8th house. Gemini in the 8th is a quadruple whammy, let me tell you.
I attribute the no wrinkles and firm skin to SINGING. And since it has been predominantly classical singing, I have had to use the muscles of the soft palette, zygomatic arch (muscles under the cheekbones and behind the nose) and various combinations of the 17 sets of muscles in the tongue for over 30 years--if THAT doesn't give you a natural face lift I don't know what will!!!!!
Good thing, too, because with my whole first house in Scorpio, I can have a brooding looking about me when the camera catches me unawares......
So, yes, Juliet, those exercises work!
Blessings, Amoroso
