Happy Solstice everyone! Eros will slip into Aquarius in the next few hours and soon conjunct Venus and Chiron at 1 degree of this Air sign. The new 'Eros guide' is up www.nrg.com.au/~d-falcon/Guide.htmand includes info on Aquarius decans, critical degrees, the conjunction with Venus and Chiron, 3361 Orpheus and the transiting T-square of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune of which Eros will contact! Let's use this thread to talk about Eros through Aquarius--I'm sure those of us with personal planets in fixed signs will have much to say! Warmly, Kim

Eros will contact my natal Mercury in the 3rd Decan (24.15 Aq.). Should be interesting to see what happens then! Right now, Eros is just about to conjunct my Fortuna & Cupido at an early degree of Aqarius (2). Plus with my natal Jupiter at 5 Scorpio & natal Saturn at 4.56 Taurus, the Eros transit affecting the current T-square, I'm definitely intrigued to see what events unfold.
I'm worried about Eros/Chiron transit affecting my current relationship (as in separation) but then again, Eros is so transforming, you never know WHAT is in store! Great information in this months Eros guide, Kim!

Glad you find it meaningful, Sopranokris, and YES, some very interesting Eros transits coming up!
With my Saturn at 4 Scorpio and Moon at 10 Aquarius, I'll be in the same boat!
(you have Venus and Chiron quite close to Fortuna as well . . . what house?
Warmly, Kim
PS, if anyone spots typos or errors on the updated site, please let me know.
Cheers!

Hi Kim,
Yes, 2006 should bring some very interesting Eros transits, especially when it enters Pisces and will transit over my natal Sun, Node & Venus, plus 5 asteroids (Pholus, Amor, Juno, Ceres & Psyche) all in the 4th house!
To answer your question: Fortuna is in my 3rd house at 2.46 Aquarius. The Eros/Chiron I was referring to above was the transit and not my natals. My Chiron is actually in 4.51 Aries in the 5th house.
It will be interesting to see how the Eros transit affects both of us, we both have Saturn in the mix. Time to let the events unfold and see what occurs...
Take care,
--Kristin

And Chiron will make a long conjunction to your Vertex in March, sparked by Venus on March 14th. Please let us know how that feels!!! Kim

Eros in Aquarius marks it's transition from the lower half of my chart into the upper half...my descendant is 3 deg. Aqu...it'll then be making some interesting contacts since I have a fair amount of planets in fixed signs in my chart....aside from the opposition to my 3 Leo asc. (and my natal Karma at 2 Leo), it will be conjuncting my natal Psyche at 14 Aqu. (exactly opposite a natal Merc/Jup. conjunction at 14 Leo in the 1st)...it will then go on to oppose my natal Orpheus at 21 Leo...along the way, it will have sqaured my Moon (8 Tau.) and my Uranus (16 Sco.)...
When it finally enters Pisces, it will mark my Eros return (3 Pis.) and then go on to conjunct my south node (9 Pis./opposing my natal Saturn at 10 Virgo)...there's some nice trines and sextiles to follow...exciting stuff!
Edit: I'm wondering if Eros aspects to name asteroids are important...my first and middle name is Michael Lewis and asteroid 20639 "Michellouie" is 1 deg. Leo (conjunct my asc.)...also, asteroid 1348 "Michel" is at 14 Leo natally (an important degree for me as mentioned above)...color me curious(?!)

Very interesting transit aspects coming up for everyone ... as I may have mentioned before, I feel all of us here on the forum are "connected" in a closer way than mere chance ... I think Kim sent out a call and we responded ... we are our spiritual "homies" ... ... Eros will be having some fun with my natals, opposing Saturn at 3 Leo, Pluto at 11 Leo and vertex at 15 Leo ... Later. Eros will conjunct my Pallas at 17 Aquarius and Mars at 21 Aquarius (Kim notes that this is a critical degree, but what does that mean for this conjunction -- an explosion of zany sexiness? Will I be driven by an erotic fetish for clowns?) When Eros hits my Mars it will also trine Mr X's natal Uranus at 21 Gemini ... hmmm ... Just noticed that the progressed composite with the above gentleman will be getting some action, too: Prog Comp Mars at 1 Aquarius Prog Comp Sun at 4 Aquarius Prog Comp Mercury at 5 Aquarius Prog Comp Pallas at 7 Aquarius Prog Comp Cupid at 27 Aquarius I will try to keep notes of any interesting "happenings" ... We are definitely all connected! Yiks, it just occurred to me reading Lunariviera's post that I will have Eros over Psyche at 14 degrees as well (13. 56) . . . and Moon at 10 Aquarius. It’s a good time for notes in the journal--lots of research material happening! Jamma--critical degrees are 'hot spots'...things of 'import' tend to happen on them. Mars heats up whatever it touches so, yes, sizzle!!! Kim

Dear All, I have tried to read Kim's Eros into Aquarius guide and can not. I usually rush to read an absorb anything you write, Kim, and everything seems just way too close right now. I know I will eventually be able to look at it. The Eros- Chiron-Venus conjunction is opposite my Moon/Uranus/MC on my 4th-10th axis. With this situation with my husband, and absolutely no word from C, there is certainly the feeling that erotic love has taken a holiday, and that my concept of marriage and my role in it is shattering into a million pieces. I am taking a hard look at my own way of being in this relationship with John and it is painful. (Chiron/Eros crossing into my fourth on the way to my natal Chiron/Eros conjunction.) Jade, I so appreciate the way you verbalize things. Because John and I are around the same age, our Saturns are conjunct, and there is Saturn-Eros in the synastry. I think one manifestation of those conjunct Saturns (isn't there are recent thread on like planets conjunct?) is that we are constantly projecting our shadows on to each other. And what has happened over the years--27 years of marriage and three years together before that--is our whole manner of living with one another is locked in the defenses and posturing we have developed to live day to day facing the shadow. I know this is not unusual. But it is earth-shattering to me to SEE it. So far, he has taken baby steps toward healing this, and we will see how we do, step by step, day by day, right up the mountain. Oh my gosh! My Juno is in Capricorn, with a loose conjunction to his Sun! Words spoken like a true Cappy, huh. Kim, I am re-reading Wuthering Heights. So much imagery to absorb! It was a good call. We are having a nice holiday in spite of the major growing pains the parents are having. Amoroso

So far, I haven't felt Eros, maybe just Chiron making this a rather lonely Christmas ... the Aquarius part is working just fine, though -- the friend I thought was here to spend Christmas with me went off to see other friends (HER Eros has been highlighted for quite awhile and I'm thinking she is on the prowl for a mate -- so I understand, but that doesn't help me, sitting here by myself) ... Well, enough boohooing, but it's hard not to feel like a giant loser when even one's closest friends prefer other company ... I keep telling myself that Christmas is no big deal at my age, and even if my husband were still alive we would have probably had a quiet day, but every once in a while I give in to the tears ... SOrry for such a mopey post, but this is the only safe place to express these things ... Hope Eros starts kicking Chiron's butt and everything cheers up soon ... Love ...

Hi Kim and everyone.. I've been a bit of a hermit lately, Christmas is not the best time of year for me, old wounds... the Chiron transit must be doing me some good. *sigh* I hope everyone is well and enjoying their holi days. Kim I enjoyed your article on Eros in Aquarius, thanks for that . Interesting to me particularly as I have Chiron, Venus and Eros all in my (Aries) natal tenth house. Its good to see how they operate together as transits. Also, my natal Ceres is at 8.19 Aquarius, and natal Psyche is at 9.46 Aquarius - so I will be keeping an eye on how these conjunctions manifest in the first week or so of the new year. (kim as an aside there is mention of Saturn in Cancer in the 0-9 decan paragraph) Jade, has the eros/psyche con. changed at all for you? I hope the feeling of being isolated/separated gives way to something more warming. Peace, PM

PM. Thanks for spotting the error in thedecans--fixing that now.
This thread is very moving for me to read. The honesty and vulnerability of everyone, and the compassion and understanding is fortifying!
Sometimes feeling what it's like to NOT have Eros working in the life is the first sign of his coming!
Blessings, Kim

Hi Jade, I'm glad you're holding up ok. Yes, Eros as dream lover is rightly of the subconscious, part of the lunar, night-world of the psyche (or Psyche if you like). 12th house Eros must be a good placement from the point of view of the 'other' realm - the collective unconscious perhaps? You might be pulling your lover right out of his own dreams! I sympathise with your mars dillemma though, he does so love to create tangible things and belongs firmly in the solar world... Did you know that pre-patriarchy Mars was an agricultural deity? Seems to me a more female-friendly use of the masculine principle of force. In fact I am (experimentally) using plants as symbols to honour mars. I'll let you know if a gardener shows up, rake and er, whipper-snipper at the ready No seriously now. I've experienced dreaming about a man and then have him show up in my life... this year it was my Scorpio, who I continued to dream about (now that ended badly). If I'd had my own Mars (my inner warrior?) there in my dream perhaps I could have defended myself against him! (My 12th house is home to Mercury and Vesta) Theres an idea - ask your Mars to guard you in your dreams? Joy, PM

Hi Jade... you're welcome... I've had this problem before, when astrodienst was upgrading their system. I think it will pass. Did you use a / character - this might have interfered, code wise...the system probably isn't set up to recognise anything but its usual format - numbers with commas in between. plants I am using to honour mars... got a red flax plant in a pot (its a grass, but the colour fits), next to a yukka (very phallic)...also planting everything in pairs - two figs in pots next to each other, one larger than the other (the larger one is for mars, the other for venus - its a kind of love charm). Other plants/herbs and vegetables; tomatoes, chilli, red capsicum, zuchini, cucumber (the long ones ) spring onions, raddicio lettuces, rocket/arugula...everything upwardly thrusting and lots of red lol. my garden is getting to be quite sexy really. pm

Dear PM,
Your garden sounds very, er, ENERGIZING. What a great idea.
I find it interesting that I read your posts with great interest and look forward to them, but seem to not be able to add anything or respond. I have a sympathetic reaction, but none of my ability to empathize or comment comes out in print. And my natal Mars is retrograde in Pisces. Funny, that. I wonder if we have Neptune/Mars in our synastry?
Here's to large red things sticking up in the air....(sorry, Kris, couldn't resist...)
