Hello Yangchen1,
Think of transits as one of the gods coming to visit. The part of you being visited is the planet receiving the transit. What kind of welcome do you give? What will your guest want, need and have to offer. What house is it in? If you understand what Neptune is, as a deity, and Chiron, then the transit becomes less of a mystery.
Having said that, ALL Neptune transits seem to bring a kind of foggy confusion and it is possible that the real meaning and purpose of this transit may only be clear in retrospection.
Neptune wants you to seek the divine, whatever that may mean for you. Neptune wants a kind of ‘necessary madness’ to wash away all your preconceived notions of who and what you are so you can become more authentic, more whole. The process is often experienced as a loss, until we see that what is taken away is really not part of ourselves.
Chiron is a teacher, a healer, the one that prepares us to take on the world, demons and angels alike. Neptune here may inspire a new metaphysical search, a new sense of who you are in your body, and out of it, a new perspective on health, compassion, challenge and direction. All this new insight can come through crisis, a new relationship, changes in location, friends, relationship to groups or organization, you name it! Because Neptune travels so slowly, you have lots of time to integrate this transit.
Who else has Chiron in Aquarius? What can you say about Neptune’s transit there?
Thanks for the interest and questions. Warmly, Kim

The 9th? Transiting Neptune there may be revamping your sense of meaning and purpose in life in subtle, intangible ways. Over the course of time, you may find that old modes of perceiving the world melt away or hold no ground. New ways off connecting with “previously unknown territory” merge into your life whether it is a new type of study, higher education, cultural connection, travel, meditation or spiritual epiphany. Seeking the truth is the focus and Neptune takes you into many blurred and fanciful realms in the search. It’s a little like being inside a Tim Burton film!
With Chiron in the 9th and under this transit, you may alternate between identifying old wounds and vulnerabilities and venturing out to take the world by storm. Chiron prepares heroes for their impossible adventures. He is fully of cheek and audacity. He also has an incurable wound. In Aquarius, (tropical) I imagine there is a sense of community or social welfare afoot. Are you involved in any groups or organizations?
The best way to understand your natal Chiron is to look at other times when it was activated. What happened when transiting Uranus was about 15 degrees of Aquarius (again this is Tropical. Do you use Sidereal?) Either way, go back and look at what a Chiron activation awakened in the past and you well start to understand this transit now.
Warmly, Kim

Hi - I just joined up and had some comments on the Neptune/Chiron transit. I had it several years ago in my 7th house. My natal Venus(4 Aq) is also conjunct Chiron (3 Aq), so it hit Chiron first. I experienced this as opening up and trusting myself in the way I connected with others. I've studied astrology for over 20 years and have done some chart readings for friends, but never trusted my instincts and gut feelings - being a good Virgo moon, I looked up everything and wrote it down before I did the reading. When Neptune hit Chiron, I stopped doing that, and just listened and spoke from what I felt or sensed, rather than trying to be "correct". In your 9th house, it may be trying to get you to open up to accepting your beliefs (with Aq, they're probably different!) and not having to justify them to anyone but yourself. Don't know if that fits or not, but I found the transit to be very positive - I hope yours is too!

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for the comments on Ne/Ch. I too see it as an optimistic time, one where we break through past restrictions (Saturn) and move into new revelations (Uranus) in the area of life the sign and house indicate. In your case it was Aquarius – Astrology, 4th – grounding sense of stability.
The 9th house is about meaning, purpose, belief and ADVENTURE into the unknown. I suspect this will link to some creative and expansive change for Yangchen1.
Thanks again for participating!
Warmly, Kim

Thanks for your feed back. Neptune is retrograding, then goes forward to connect with Chiron again. So far I have experienced a lot of interesting dreams, have signed up to do a course where I learn to teach meditation( I have practised for some time but havn't made the jump from practise to teaching) The magis say it is a cinderella aspect so I live in hopes and will keep you posted. I also have been working at a clinic where we give IV VITC etc New Age medicine and it has been wonderful. I am a nurse and it is discouraging at times to only use drugs rather than diet suppliments etc All the Best Nats
