Hello Yangchen1,
Welcome to the forum. Have you been studying astrology long?
The combination you describe is complex and I don’t have time to go into minute detail now. I can say that conjunctions like this bring a strong FOCUS of energy to the Ascendant, the way he initiates and projects himself out into the world. He will send out a message that resonates with the planets there-Sun being confident, bright and distinct, Chiron being sometimes audacious, sometimes pensive-moods, Eros being cheeky, sexy and intense.
All this is contingent on what sign is rising. If it is Scorpio, he will have the more brooding, smoldering sexy, confidence. If it is Sagittarius, he will have a more exuberant, bold, dashing, chatty style. Do you see what I mean?
Think of the PLANETS as having a particular type of ENERGY to express, the SIGNS as a way or STYLE of expression and the HOUSE as a PLACE or area of life to do the expressing.
How do you think this combination works for him? Can anyone else comment here on planets conjunct the Ascendant?
Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim, I have been studying for about 20 years but have never used the asteroids, so am a beginner in this field. He has a Scorpio ascendant (siderial) either way Pluto is about to conjion it and the asteroids then his Sun... He is focused , but as I don't know Chiron and Eros well can't yet intergrate the energy and how it expresses. Thanks for your insight. Nats

Hi Nats, With all your experience, please feel free to jump in and comment on other questions. There are plenty here not involving asteroid and another perspective is always welcome! I do see that you are a Siderealist. How did that come about? I’d love to hear more. So, Scorpio to you, Sagittarius to me, it makes no difference in understanding the actual transit to and conjunction on his Ascendant. As I mentioned, if each planet is understood, then the integration process starts to fall into place. My site has delineations for Eros in the signs and houses, mythology, transits etc. Also, a good introduction to Eros is the reprint of the article I wrote for DELL HOROSCOPE. Going through this material will bring Eros to life for you. www.nrg.com.au/~d-falcon/Discovery_of_Eros_and_its_Role_in_the_Astrological_ChartThere is a LOT of material on Chiron. His mythology can be found anywhere on the net, but interpretations vary from astrologer to astrologer. Some see him only as a wounded healer, long suffering and compassionate. For me, that was only one aspect of his myth. Mainly, this divine being was about teaching young heroes in the arts of war, strategy, navigation, exploration and adventure. He encourages us to do the impossible, to go where we are told we can not and succeed where others say we will fail. It is very much about the HEART of the hero, and working with what we have…making it work. It’s very much about the body as well. Very physical. Again, the best way to get a handle on any planet, asteroid or point is to go back and look at what events, inner and outer, occurred when they were previously transited. A theme will appear, offering insight to this current upcoming event. Thanks for you post. Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim Thanks for your reply. I became a siderealist 20 years ago when I had to make a descision about the two systems. I have no doubts that the solar system is moving, and the Hindus are in fact correct, they did not go thru the dark ages. I still read charts from a circular point of view. I take the ascendant and the calculate the houses from that. IE the ascendant is the middle of the house, the cusps being the ends . I would love to hear from you further. Kind Regards nats

Hi Nats,
This is very interesting to me. I don’t have any experience with Siderealist to speak of, though I respect the approach. It fascinates me how these different system work. I use the Draconic system as well, and my word, that has really taught me things about synastry…what lies beneath!
I hope you find this forum useful. We are interested in your perspective at any time.
Warmly, Kim

Hi Kim and fellow star gazers, "For me, that was only one aspect of his myth. He encourages us to do the impossible, to go where we are told we can not and succeed where others say we will fail. It is very much about the HEART of the hero, and working with what we have…making it work. It’s very much about the body as well. Very physical." I find that very interesting as I'm trying to interpret what Chiron tightly conjunct the ASC in a composite chart might mean? Same chart has Eros tightly conjunct the MC squaring this Chiron/ASC and I was able to find a few blurbs for Eros/MC, Eros square Chiron, and Eros square ASC in the composite on the cafe astrology site: www.cafeastrology.com/compositechartasteroids.html all of which seem to point to a significant love. Unfortunately, the aspects also run into Pluto and Uranus on the DSC. Ah, Lontra and Toro's composite is as fascinating as the synastry....lol...must meet this man one day! Cheers everyone, Lontra
