I agreee that Eros in Libra is much more pleasant. Libra has to do with what's fair and so I feel this fits right in. Perhaps that's why the democrats now have control of the house. Usually, people have to get fed up enough to do something. Those who have been fed up voted.

Nancy Pelosi , The California Democrat was on the cusp of making history herself, as the first woman leader of the House. Eros in Libra? Yes, I think most transformingly. She has become the Speaker of the House and has the power to call for an impeachment of the President of the United States. Rumsfeld has just resigned..... ============================================= This was in my inbox from astrologer Moses Siregar this a.m. For those interested, it's a way to be pro-active. "That’s why I’ve been donating regularly to blackboxvoting.org , which is a nonpartisan, nonprofit voting watchdog group. You can download their book (no charge) on their website: “Black Box Voting: Ballot-Tampering in the 21st Century.”"

I think your comments are right in line with Eros in Libra, as Libra rules the concept of debate between two options, and therefore the Dems vs the Reps.
I happen to view the two parties as oppo-sames, with the same money & king-makers behind both parties, who use high-level partisan players like puppets according to a unified higher agenda. I suppose that's more the domain of Scorpio... which is heavily accented by transit right now!
I know many view the Dems apparently coming into increased power as a positive sign. It means nothing to me, just a little superficial morphing giving a lot of people a nice Libran warm fuzzy.
But certainly a very Eros in Libra matter, all the heated debating that's going on.

No matter where one is coming from, change is good. Our forefather's did not however institute change by sitting on the sidelines. They brought change at the height of oppression worse than what we have nowadays. They didn't lose hope or become cynical. They could not afford to, neither can we.
We may have every right to assert our silence but then when we remain so, we then have no right, with integrity, to complain for we have given our voice over to others.

I think I've been anything but silent. LOL I just made some pretty bold statements. And they may not have changed today's power structure, but you will remember them on some level in a few years (or even months, with the rapid speed-up of evolving consciousness) if you come to a personal crossroads because you find that something you believed in very dearly suddenly reveals itself to be a hoax. It's not a comfortable moment when one realizes one has fallen for a hoax of any kind, and so it takes courage & self-honesty to deal with that. But when enough people have that realization, true change will occur. Our forefathers risked their lives for what they believed in, and there are many people out on the front lines right now saying what I'm saying, and they're risking their lives. And I think they are heros. I've already been a hero in my own life -- it's not my calling to go risk the demise of self & family in order to get these messages across on a mass level. It's my calling to dance. At least for now. Samina

I hear you Samina but I feel people are just now waking up from the hoax from a couple of years ago when changes "of power" were not implemented. I 've seen the hoax from day one. Yet, change is a transition and what this gentlemen wrote on Noel Tyl's forum seems very fitting to what has actually happened astrologically. I feel this is a great indication that individulas can make a difference beyond hidden agenda's of which I agree there have been many.... "Dear Forum: Regarding yesterday’s Democratic party victory in Congress. Look at the Libra Solar Ingress chart at Washington, DC [September 23, 2006; 12:03 am; ASC=05-Cancer-27]. This horoscope will give us a flavor of the national climate for the United States for the three-month period that closes out the year. 1) Uranus conjunct the MC...change to the party in power (Republicans out, Democrats in; repeated refrain last night of “new direction” and “Americans want a change”. 2) Uranus ruling 9...the call for change precipitated by a foreign policy event (Iraq). 3) Sun square to the ASC and quindecile the MC...the president in conflict with the people; intense spotlight on the president as the focus of this election. Regards, Dean Bensics

Yes, everybody has their part to play, some on the front lines, others behind the scenes.
Whatever happens, the next few years are going to nothing short of amazing, I think.
"Shock & Awe" of some kind, certainly! LOL

"I choose not to participate in a charade, the best assertion of my voice that I know. If the majority did that, because they recognize the sham for what it is, we could right the system again to reflect our true voices"Hi Samina, unfortuneately this is already going on. 76,000,000 voted, not the 300,000,000 in this country. I think it was interesting that on one site a Brit said "vote for something because they are counting on you to not vote for anything". That is more scary to me than anything. One party may not ultimately be better than the other...that has to be seen, but at least it's known that we will collectively call for changes. Best Regards, Flower (power

See, for me that's not a known at all. I see the voting system as utterly broken. You have faith in it. To me it is a given that voting today is not the way to call for a change. We have paradigms in that area that don't intersect, although we both desire harmony! Where is everyone on the boards these days, I wonder. Is Eros in Libra romantifying everyone else as much as it is me, I wonder? Speaking of harmony, I've got it in aces these days... it's fabulous! I've received a beautiful romantically pink bouquet of flowers, and one of those old-fashioned customized music compilations that used to be so common during courtship years ago... And I've been waltzing like there's no tomorrow... LOL Could everybody else be doing the same, and that's why they're too busy to post? Sami

The only thing this did was make me overly chatty and a bit nervous. I'm not sure about the secret amour thing cause you know, that is still a secret at this moment! haha

Any close one-on-one connections, cat -- whether romance or debating (as so perfectly illustrated by this thread ) Our ASCs are so close, and I've been hit by a tidal wave of energy! Have been wondering how you've been experiencing the double Eros/Juno whammy. Actually, triple whammy... Vesta's in our 1st house, too! But then, all those planets transiting Scorpio are hitting some major action in my chart at the same time. Samina

Nope, no one-on-one connections. *Sigh* Can't a girl dream though! That's why I said what I did about the secret amour and me not knowing. The conjunction was in the 12th for me so I have no idea what it it's doing/have done/going to do as far as secret loves go. Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with someone loving me. That is just what I figured though.

today it's on my ASC. which means that it hit my venus & my girl's moon a couple of days ago...while mars has been on my sun-juno. there's been a lot of private time at my house, and we're gushing about/over each other. i told someone the other day that our time together is like living inside a hallmark card, and i think people expect it to fade into petty stuff any minute, but we don't - it's been going and getting stronger since may, when we figured out that we were dating. i like this eros in libra stuff a lot...

Hi to all I just read the Eros Libra article too Hmm I have Eros at about 22 degrees of Libra close to Vesta in 6 which makes my health weird I think but not bad as I have strong Sun etc But that explains my tendency to younger men 5-10 years also encouraged by Merc/Juno conj which I have definitely noticed encourages men to like younger women [ but what does not] And I am very precious about everything being tasteful- in a rather counterculture fashion I was not delighted by the whatever it was about 15Lib-15 Sco Maybe that accounts from the dead tooth abcess and the skidding off the bike for no apparent reason yesterday - sitting here with lots of achey bits Then I rang someone to get sympathy and managed to hit my cheek hard with the phone and decided to go to sleep as the safest option Today has been better so far This is not usual and if this is Mars I do not relish the thought of Saturn passing thro this area in a couple of years....... I look forward to the arrival of the younger man [eros-lib] with medical qualifications [chiron] -in your dreams? [neptune] passing through? [jup] I already met a younger man more of a skilled worker than a medic when Eros was still in Virgo and that was weird and unusual enough We are still in contact by sms as I am now my side of the country but I chickened out of any adventures due to being ill and not being sure he was nuts or a serial seducer of older not rich womenj or both Hej Ana! I too have Eros conjunct Spica its also exactly conjunct Ceres as well... But only a few degrees away and within orb is Juno!! All of this in Libra and my 5th house... (is it sexy anyone?? ) Yes it's a bit "dampened down" in its expression with Saturn/Vesta in Aries in opposition! You don't know how UNSEXY I feel these days!! With a Mars/Pan/Sun/Venus/Aphrodite natal conjunction in my first house( in Cancer) I should probably ask did I miss my calling?? Ok, I did once work a "sexy" job.. but not actually involving any sex, or sexuality.. and I was a singer in a band--- I have always found interest in both younger and older partners but I ended up with someone of my own age.. but there is always an attraction for "older" men... I've been watching "Howls Moving Castle" lately.. because my son decided he liked it.. and I think I identify with the main character "Sophie".. who was changed from a very serious young lady to a 90 year old woman..suddenly. www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/howl/Howl's Moving Castle follows the story of young Sophie Hatter, a bookworm, the eldest of three daughters, a girl doomed to an uninteresting life as a hat maker. Sophie resigns herself to her boring fate, but fate has other plans for her. Cursed by the Witch of the Waste with the body of a 90-year-old woman, she finds her way to the moving castle inhabited by the wizard Howl, said by all to eat the souls of young girls. That aside my health is improving.. hope my love life does too! Hope everyone is well! Can't wait for this next Eros Return! Svenskasfinx
