Hi everyone... thought we could post our Mercury Retro woes on here... a problem shared and all that... that is, if we can get the computer working, get online, stay connected, post, etc... :0
today I emailed a client for the third time to ask if she received the press releases I emailed her a week ago... then I finally got a reply saying she'd emailed me TWICE about them!
and another client saying 'where the hell are the....?" about some other writing that I just haven't managed to get through because my mind has been wandering all over the place!
OH JOY! pm

Let's see, staring with July 4 ... My visiting friend's flight was cancelled and the plane she was reassigned to had engine trouble, meaning all the passengers had to shift to yet another plane ... Doctor's bill mailed to insurance but either they didn't get it or the check is in the great unknown, along with some socks ... My cellphone has been schizophrenic ... read "battery low," so I charged it all night to no avail ... charged it second night, still no luck ... so I moved the charger to a different outlet, and tried again -- zilch ... but after I unplugged the whole thing and put it in my purse to take to the phone store, it suddenly shows up fully charged ... but going to keep checking it every hour, just in case ... Two friends tried to email me photos, nothing would come through ... Sprinkler system is repeating itself, watering everything twice in one day ... Today I'm having my teeth cleaned and will not be at all surprised if I get the creepy hygienist instead of the one I asked for ... Hope the Trickster is enjoying all this! j

It is interesting, isn't it...what the trickster does? He wants us to slow down, reflect and 'grock' something... Last week, my son and his family came to stay overnight...first time in 12 months...they always stay at his Dad's (spacious, in the country etc etc...) but on this ONE time they decided to stay with me...I had a book launch to go to that I could not miss (a dear friend)...lol...I made a rushed dinner, flew out the door and wasn't home till after midnight... And then, I sent the wrong Eros Report to a client...twice...spending hours to get it together! I wonder what is next...I'm certainly reflecting on things... Kim

Oh boy! Was today ever filled with Mercury "woes". I have been travelling for the past 2 weeks, conducting training classes on our new system at work. Yesterday, my flight here was delayed over an hour. When I landed, the computers at the car rental desk weren't working. Finally got a car and the satellite radio in the car would not work no matter what we tried. Made it to the hotel room and my cell phone wouldn't work inside the room (works fine everywhere else, except inside the room!). Today, major traffic delays on the way to the office. Get into the office and the e-mail server is down! Get into training class to find out only 2 of the 12 computers will let anyone log in. AARRGGHH!! I stood there and said to myself "thank, Mercury...what else have you got in store today?" Well, I shouldn't have asked that question. I left to go to an important lunch meeting and the battery in the rental car had died! Couldn't get the car started at all. Had to sit and wait for the rental company to send out a new car. The good news is that they gave me a cute, little sports car with a convertible top A little bright side to all the Mercury mischief today! I've been SOOOOO busy at work since my new promotion...maybe I'm being told to slow down, eh? LOL

Well the ruler of air shut down all three airconditioners, house and 2 cars. We did manage to get one car working. It had a build up of air pressure from refilling with coolant that was causing the compressor to be spastic causing the engine to thrust, then pull back every 15 seconds. My husband finally figured out to release some pressure then it was ok. This was in a heat index of over 100 degrees. He is transiting the 6th of my husband and his 11th. He rules his 1st and 10th. As he moves in to conjunct natal Jupiter the 2nd time he was given what he considers a promotion and he isn't even past his 90 day probation and hired in till the end of the month. Every crew's job is really labor intensive but the crew they moved him too is much more pleasant, not so physically stressful. It'll be much easier to get through 50-60 hours.

set up a reading for tomorrow with a guy who called months ago the 1st time, referred by an acquaintance. i can barely understand his voicemails because there's always some breaking-up noise, static, etc.,, like he's calling from a few decades ago and it's just hard to get a good connection into 2006 - finally talked to him today. he's natally Rx mercury in leo in the 12th, on the SN - i'd been feeling like he was so slippery and i couldn't figure out how to get us on the same page, communications-wise. seeing that placement made me laugh.

I second that Jade - what a great description Tom... every now and again I get a call like that too..
speaking of which... my phones have been on the blink so I've switched them off for now - Jonathan Cainer suggests that with Mercury Rx, there are many opportunities for things to be revealed that need to be looked at more carefully (not in those words)... well, there is a lot of miscommunication going on with me... so I need to take care of that!
blessings, Mercury-Ruled pm

Well...so far, the Landscapers arrived late yesterday because one of the head guys had his car RE-possessed. (How Merc retro!) Then....my internet was down for nearly 24 hrs the day before. And...last night, I discovered my cable was down...due to the landscapers digging through and breaking the cable line to my house while planting the new Palms!! No too shabby for Merc-retro!! Guess I wanted to be included-in on the FUN!! Hugs- GemStar

also...didn't mention one technical thing, as i tend not to focus on them, but this one is precious: i somehow allowed salad dressing from my leftover lunch to seep into my mobile phone, my only phone (none at home). it's trying to decide how broken to be, and is being inconsistent. and the thing is that i just KNEW i shouldn't have bought that kind (oily) over the one i usually like/buy (creamy & not drippy), but overrode my salad-dressing-choice gut.
headed in a minute to an interview for a transfer position - for the kind of job i SHOULD have taken when i got to the museum two years ago, so to me it fits the rx symbolism to a degree. and it's a step up, and with jupiter just in my 2nd...

glad to hear it, jade. i just posted it on www.spiritcrossing.com, and hopefully others can find it useful, too. the interview wasn't that great - they didn't seem to want to know anything that might tell them about me other than what's on my resume (they asked about skills). (the director is out, so his two mian people interviewed me.) so, i'll keep at it. am considering reconnecting with an employment agency guy i met/tested with the day i was offered my present position. he and i hit it off, and he couldn't believe how well i did on the spelling & grammar tests. he staffs for private schools all over LA, and that might be an interesting direction. the dressing was shiitake-sesame, so maybe i can finally get my calls to asia to go through?

Tom, I just read your article and it is very, very good. Could you please tell us about the asteroid Arjunsuri in the asteroid forum? Or have you already? You've clearly peaked my interest and brought my attention to the big picture that the nodes are also going to be crossing my husband's Pluto-Uranus combo soon in the first. Your way of describing their purpose really helps in understanding their movement and action. He has had so much upheaval regarding Pluto ruled areas so I'm glad to have this new perspective before hand.

hi ae - i'm really glad it's useful. the impetus to write that came from working with clients with virgo plutos, thinking a lot about the evolutionary intention of pluto in virgo, and then i was having 1.5 years of hits of the transiting south node to my natal planets in libra (mars-uranus-ASC-pallas-venus-pluto), ending with pluto at 3 libra, and i saw this opportunity to explain what that can look like, and what is the opportunity. thanks for the feedback on it.
i'm not ready to post on arjunsuri just yet, but will do so on the asteroid board when i am. i put it in my bio on that site to poke me in the rib to get the developing story on it out there - arjunsuri and i are currently negotiating (when i sit down to write something cohesive from the months of notes, something new or something else comes through, so i'm being patient with it - also, i'm using it as part of a larger process when working with certain people/charts, and i'm not sure yet how to break it up appropriately).

Hello people just thought I'd mention that with Mercury stationing we should all take it easy... I wrote like a fiend yesterday, press releases, other creative stuff... including a letter to eric francis about something he put on the jonathon cainer site and today.. well, I noticed last night a bit of stiffness in my neck and jaw... this morning have woken up with a huge ulcer inside my mouth, and a very stiff and sore neck... and got a reply from eric francis, but for some reason cannot think of a single thing to write back to him! actually... maybe its Mars in Virgo which is telling me to slow down.... pm ps. Kim did you get my email?

My two Rx events were almost being hit head on by a garbage truck and sending a check meant to be voided, leaving the correct one still in the checkbook. The latter was easy to correct. The former, wasn't so easy as I was so focused on the tire crossing the center line I didn't see who's truck it was so I could report it. I just called both companies I see on in that area and let them know I wasn't sure if it was their truck. I needed to tell them that I think the person was falling asleep because of the length of time it took him to correct his path. Maybe he as narcilepsy. It sure was scary. I almost took out a van with my little Honda. And I didn't even instinctively honk to wake him up, the van did. This also brought my attention for the 2nd time in a week to an asteroid that is unnamed and unnumbered. So you can be sure that sent me off in an investigation.
