How fast is this year going by? Eros is again about to change signs, slipping into the sensual, earthy, tactical domain of The BULL! This period sees the square of asteroid 433 Eros to Saturn on May 21 at 6 degrees of Taurus-Leo, the square to Chiron at 9 Taurus-Aquarius on the 25th of May, the opposition of Jupiter at 11 Taurus-Scorpio on May 28th, the square to Neptune & conjunct Sedna on the 7th and 8th of June at 19 Taurus-Aquarius, and the conjunction with asteroid 22 Kalliope and her Moon, Linus on June 10 at 21 Taurus. Finally, Eros will make a square aspect to Juno on the 16th of June at 26 Taurus-Aquarius. Read all about it on the updated EROS TRANSIT page: www.falconastrology.com/transits.htmI'm particularly interested in the aspect to Ne/Sedna and world events...please report any news here! Also, watch the conjunction with Kalliope on the critical degree of 21 Taurus. All comments welcome! Kim

thanks Kim - another great article! I noticed when I checked the chart for my Venus return (which is today) that Eros is at 0 Taurus... the degree of my Natal Saturn. I wonder what it will bring.... joy! pm ps. Kim the heading of your eros transit page is still 'Eros transits through Aries'

Oh thank you PM for spotting the ARIES!...talk about me in the 'forest --trees!'
Heading is fixed and here is a bit on Saturn and Eros, to give you a glimpse of these two deities conjunct! Do consider your Natal Saturn...what are your fears, longings and desires in the sign and house that he is placed? Money? Sensuality? happiness? Peace? Where is 0 Taurus in the return chart? Think about what Saturn needs, wants and hast to offer....and then think how Eros might wake that up!
Let us know how this goes!!!
Warmly, Kim
Eros to Saturn
Footfalls echo in the memory Down the passage which we did not take Towards the door we never opened Into the rose-garden. My words echo Thus, in your mind.-- T.S.Eliot
When Eros touches Saturn, the desire to ground in the depths of a meaningful sexual union can become quite strong. It can also be terribly frightening and overwhelmingly frustrating as well. The passions of Saturn are no less potent than mars or Jupiter, they just have trouble expressing themselves in overt and straightforward ways. An awakened Saturn means an awakened Shadow, and that usually brings the serpent in paradise. –Serpent as the Nehustan, wisdom behind the veil and the ability to cross over into ‘other realms’.
But what about the Shadow?
It is important to honor the power Saturn has to manifest an image of our inner demon. The tricky bit is that this inner demon may appear, at first, as a dream lover, a perfect match, or even as the ‘one’. The one it may be, but which one? Usually it is the one that matches and awakens every little scrap of fear, inhibition, sense of defect, isolation and loneliness a person can store. Why this feels so good initially is a complete mystery. Why it may spiral down into a stinking mire of unprocessed and unexpressed emotional turmoil makes much better sense.
Brief transits of Eros to Saturn may indicate the deepening of a relationship into a more tangible form, with all the fears and potentials that coincide with such an event. It can signify the awareness of a bond between two lovers that keeps them together in the face of aversion. It can also signify the separation of that bond if the aversion becomes too great, or when the relationship is clearly no longer authentic.
The longer lasting transits to Saturn will manifest according to the emotional maturity and experience of the individual. For those who have yet to experience their first Saturn return, it can seem like outer circumstances block every effort to merge, create and transform. We fall in love, with a person or an idea, yet we feel imprisoned from them…locked away and unable to proceed. For those who have touched on their natal Saturn somewhat, this transit can coincide with commitment, deep attachment and even marriage or the birth of a child. If Saturn is in aspect to Eros in the natal chart, the opportunity to review those natal issues will arise. In this case, the chance for growth is accompanied by this transit, although it may feel more like pruning at times!

Thanks for the heads up Kim. As usual exquisitely written.
Fortunately or unfortunately for me I have my Venus at TAURUS 22 House 5.
So on June 11, Kalliope and Eros will sit at Taurus 22. With the Sun and Eros currently in Taurus I am already full of desperate longing...sigh...But I am not active, more quiet and steady. June is going to be rife with visits to Doc at least 2-3 for various health matters....

Yesterday (Monday) Eros was at 7 Taurus, transiting through my natal 7th house. At that point He was on the exact midpoint of my husband and my composite Venus and Moon, and trine our Juno/Eros conjunction in the fifth. This is truly a miracle: Five weeks after his prostate surgery we were able to make love, and it was incredible. "C" who? I would like to add, we have both been working hard to heal our relationship and ourselves. Blessings, Amoroso

Wow...wonderful Amoroso.... On my birthday Eros was (same day obviously) 7 Taurus, conjunct my Part of Fortune and the one man that I really wanted to see showed up for my little evening outing. It surprised the hell out of me for about 1 second then I just grinned with JOY! No such intimacy as Amoroso, but a wonderful night all the same. I'm still smiling. Kim
