This thread is by Queensirius--Welcome to the Forum--I've moved it from Astro Events Board to the Returns board. Comments anyone?Hello Everyone! The past two years have been quite INTENSE for me. In July of 2007 I had my Nodal Opposition (N.N Virgo conjuct Saturn Virgo) and things took a very serious turn for me, which quite a contrast experience to spending 4 months (february to june) in Europe! When I returned from Europe, I changed my profession and decided to spend the next 10 months training in another one altogether! This, I know, also had to do with my Saturn Return which is still in effect. On that note, it has been NO FUN dealing with the Saturn Return's rehashing or rather amplification of my natal Saturn square Moon/Venus! Now... birthday just passed a couple months ago and looking at my Solar Return chart is giving me the creeps! All my SR angles are at anaretic critical degrees! My SR Asc Pisces 29 degrees/Desc Virgo 29 degrees conjunct Vertex @ 29 degrees. My SR M.C Sagittarius @ 29 degrees conjunct Pluto @ 29 degrees/I.C Gemini @ 29 degrees conjunct Sun @ 00 degrees. SR Neptune in the 12th house...... Does anyone have any thoughts about these SR details?

Hi Queensirius, I find critical degrees potent times where we are open to heightened experiences of awareness and potential! Things are changing and you have the ability to make choices about how you want that change to go. Remember, Pluto is opposite your sun now for the next year + and this reinforces your vitalized capacity to reinvent yourself. With the Zero Degree Aries Point activated, career and creativity can take on new meaning. With Libra filling your Solar Return 7th, Aries Point on the horizon, and Sun, Venus and Eros conjunct in Cancer at home in 4th is a powerful signature for 'bringing home' the relationship of your dreams. Using this time to get clear on what you want and taking steps to get is is vital. The Aries point (your natal Sun) is about ACTION and when you take action based on what you love and value, you will more into the life you want. Start by using creative and inspiring adjectives to describe these charts and see how you can make choices that step by step move your life in a positive, creative direction. If we call the chart creepy, it becomes creepy! If we call it a thrilling display of synchornicity, it becomes that. Do you see what I mean? If you want to read more about Returns and the 0 Degree Aries Point, check my articles and links on the home page--www.falconastrology.com Who else can comment here? I know there are more than a few of use with personal planets (and hence returns) on the Aries point--getting the opposition from Pluto this year. (My Venus return for one) Do you think this will be a particularly powerful year for the expression of that planet? Thanks for posting! Kim

Hi Kim, Thank you for the feedback!!! ;D I resonate with your perspective on the energy of the critical degrees. To me the 29th degree is about mastery, rebirth and also about crisis in consciousness. I view this degree as a conduit for the potential of deep transformation via the planet involved. As for Pluto opposing my sun for 1+ year .... it seems that I have always been very sensitive to Pluto transits - I don't know why! I really get the obsessive, endlessly penetrating side of pluto, especially when certain transits poke and prod pluto into action. So the pluto/sun opposition is happening in both transit and solar return.... that figures, since Pluto is also prominent (on my MC) in my outer world. I am seeing this manifested in certain outer events. I need to delve into this zero degree aries thing because I am not really familiar with its significance. I will read your article. Also, you are absolutely right about perception influencing that way a chart can play out and manifest itself. I went with the first word that popped into my head "creepy" now I see it isn't the right choice of words. "Thrilling display of synchronicity"? I love that! From one writer to another, I can appreciate that choice of words. Again thank you so much for the feedback! Elizabeth
