Hello Brenton and Everyone! Yes, Dr. Brown (the astronomer who discovered many other bodies including Sedna and Quaoar) has found something new. They actually spotted it two years ago but didn’t know it was a solar system planet. This puppy is bigger than Pluto and twice as far out (between Pluto and Sedna) taking 560 years to orbit the earth (Pluto takes 248 and Sedna takes about 1200). He’s named it (and I suspect it will be an Inuit god) but is withholding the announcement until the AUI approves it. Is this the fabled planet X or are there simply many more bodies than the ancients ever imagined out there?
