Hi Kim & all,
I just ran the chart for my Venus Return and noted that the MC of the return chart is 17 Taurus, a degree I am well aware of these days because of Sedna's position there. . . I have been paying quite a bit of attention to Sedna of late, as I am sure many have due to the tsunamis. . . but it's strange because I've known of Sedna since the discovery last year but hadn't begun looking into it in depth until about a month ago, at which point I found myself writing about Sedna, pondering the symbolism, absolutely fascinated by the story, and kept whispering the words "sea change" to myself. . . and trying to make the connection between Sedna and the fact she was discovered with Uranus in PIsces, right around the time that whale exploded in the streets of Tainan last year. . . .anyone remember that?
So I was quite surprised to find Sedna conjunct the MC of my Venus Return. . . which occurs tomorrow. . . and has 26 Leo Rising, putting that ever fascinating Uranus in Pisces in my 7th right near my Desc, along with Psyche and Amor. . .
Any insights into Sedna on MC of a Venus Return would be much appreciated. . . Sedna seems an archetype that never could find a real social realm: only the depths. . . people kept trying to assign roles to her. . . .
I'm going to pay close attention: in any event I am very alert to her story. . . . Venus is the ruler of my natal chart so I always watch the Venus Return, which interestingly, this year falls on the same date as my Mercury Return, linking the two returns, I believe. . . and in this year's solar, as in my natal Mercury and Venus are conjunct. . . so I expect to feel that blend this year. I have yet to look at the Mercur
Best to all,
Jennifer
