Part 25 of our Saga. As I mentioned in the Horary followup, there might actually be an opportunity for D. and I to work on a book together. I drew up our composite chart and found Sappho sitting in the Moon's lap (less than one degree away from the Moon--missing in this graphic) and think that bodes well for creativity. The thing that struck me however is the star. What is the meaning of such a configuration, not merely in love but in a creative effort? I have found very little information on this configuration. One is a perfect water grand trine In Neptune, Moon and Mars, the other less than perfect in earth with the sun pushed into Aries. Any feedback much appreciated.

Like any aspect pattern-natal or otherwise--the Star means the planets are linked--not operating in isolation. Remember the 'table leg' analogy from other threads? You can't 'do' one planet without involving the others.
The composite is a chart of the relationship--an entity all its own. It comes to life when (if) the two people are in relationship. You actually have a composite chart with everyone alive and everyone who has ever lived . . . it's just the actual relationships that awaken them.
In this case the Sun, Mercury, Moon, Pluto, Jupiter, Neptune and Mars are connected by trine and sextile. There are plenty of other connections too, but this configuration can indicate the 'path of least resistance'.
If you start working on a joint literary project together (Sun/Mercury), everything will start to buzz--you'll get Jupiter (which is great for enthusiasm and publishing) and Mars--which is energy (maybe competitive/Maybe cooperative) but always stimulating, AND you'll get Neptune and Pluto which can be all kinds of fantasise (good for fiction) or idealizations (not so creative) or deceitful (ugh) or heavenly (yum)--and power issues... you get the idea.
Aspect patters show us how planets are linked. If you 'do' a planet (express its energy) you activate it and everything it touches.
Can you see how this might work in your situation?
Warmly, Kim

Thank you Kim. I often wonder how this relationship would play out if not hemmed in by space, time, circumstance and our true life obligations. As it stands, the emotions tend to richochet about which is humorous if not ironic given this STAR. Everything is on mud slow movement. Can you see how this might work in your situation?"Fascinating. Yes I can. First, our synasty and composite seems to revolve around three areas--healing, intense supportive communication and competition. The best aspects tend to involve Mercury and I note in snastry we have important personal planets in houses 3 and 11 (education, travel, expansion of thinking and being). His chart with an Einsteinian (LOL) Uranus Singleton, heavy education imprint along with my own Mercury in Gem Sun and Pluto in 9 ... "an individual who satisfies their need to be in control via their education or studies. A compulsive student, striving for perfection in all intellectual tasks" seems set up for this kind of effort. I wonder about the Moon tightly conjunct Sappho in 10 then trine Neptune. It makes sense if he goes ahead with the book and it is published. There may be power issues --a shift?--as the current relationship is technically set up with him professsionally in the power position though I suspect all my sunny disposition, boundaries crashing makes him wonder from time to time who's actually got what power LOL. In editing for others, it is critical that the other person be able to hear and take critique. Different power situation. The person you edit for can get worried, pensive, defensive, etc. We have a lot of creative, sexual and intellectual tensions between us. I hope it is helpful and mind not a whit if it is distracting...as long as it is not hurtful or destructive. I'm aiming for "cooperative, "stimulating" and "heavenly (Yum)." ;D The work would be strictly nonfiction--health/nutrition/avoidance, ameloriation of chronic diseases. Thanks for all your thoughts Kim. BlueOrchids
